(Clearwisdom.net) When the Holocaust of Jewish people was revealed, the world's people who still had a conscience were enraged by the cruelty, and they brought justice to the perpetrators of the Holocaust. Only half a century has passed, and the communist party is even crueler. The secret Sujiatun Concentration Camp where Falun Gong practitioners' organs are harvested for profit is an example of such cruelty. Practitioners are cremated after being killed. This will not be tolerated by heaven and earth.
On March 14, 2006, to protest against and expose such an anti-humanity crime, the Australia Falun Dafa Association held a press conference in front of the Consulate in Sydney. After the conference I participated in a 24-hour hunger strike to protest the Chinese Communist party (CCP)'s bloody and atrocious behavior, and call on the Australian government and people to take urgent action to stop the evil deeds by the CCP, and rescue the imprisoned Falun Gong practitioners!
Two fellow practitioners and I went on hunger strike. We sat outside the consulate wearing "hunger strike" ribbons and holding banners. At the same time, we handed out truth clarification materials to passersby. Our peaceful protest was very well received.
At about 2:00 p.m., an elegant Western lady stopped and asked politely how long we had sat there. She said that people our age must have family and children. She said, "If you are refugees, you could ask the local government for help. They will help you. It does not matter how long you fast here, the Chinese Consulate staff will not help you." We told her that we were on the hunger strike not for ourselves, but rather to expose the killing of Falun Gong practitioners by the CCP in the Sujiatun death camp, and our hunger strike only lasts 24 hours. She seemed to be a little bit relieved. She left reluctantly after suggesting that we wear hats and drink more water.
At about 3 o'clock, a middle-aged Chinese man arrived. Although he was a fellow Chinese, he did not show any respect towards us older people, people of his parent's generation. He pointed fingers at us and asked us to "go home quickly" and not to "make trouble out of nothing." He said, "Such older people like you have been very lucky to be here. My parents were so poor that they could not go to school, and had to lead a bitter life over the past years. Who should they blame? If the Communist Party did not allow you to practice, you just give it up. Was it the practice that caused you so much trouble? If you want to believe something, there is Buddhism. You can go ahead and practice it, and nobody will care." He not only refused to read our materials, but also did not give us any chance to talk. He refused to read the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. He mumbled for a while and then left. It looked as if he were acting for someone else.
Today, the work time of the consulate staff was unusual. It clearly displayed on the door that hours were: Friday 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Yet, there was an "open" sign on the door for the entire afternoon. The sign was not turned to "close" until 5:00 p.m., when the lady on duty quickly changed the sign and walked away. She told a middle-aged man outside the door, "I will miss the train if we don't close now." She was then given permission to leave. Afterwards the man turned back and told us "You can go home now, we are closed, what do you sit here for?" We said, "We were on a hunger strike to protest the CCP's crimes of killing Falun Gong practitioners and the Sujiatun Concentration Camp selling their organs." He said, "What hunger strike? Don't you think you can do it at home? Have a delicious meal first, and then you can go ahead do the hunger strike!" I stopped his mocking on us, "Never keeping any promise -- doing things just as you feel like, without legal restrictions, that is exactly the CCP's behavior! We cultivators are not like that, we are very serious about our promise. We are upright! If we hold righteous minds and behavior, heaven will help us. If one tells lies and does bad deeds, one will be punished. We said that we were on a 24-hour hunger strike, and it does not matter if we are here or not, we will not eat." He interrupted us and said, "Now that you can do it at home, why don't you go home, it is getting dark." We told him to learn from Chen Yonglin, and not to ruin himself and be buried with the doomed CCP. He murmured while closing the steel door, looking anxious.
At about 6:00 p.m., another practitioner joined the hunger strike. While we were sitting there, suddenly a tall man inside the consulate came into sight. He was furtively watching us from behind the glass on the steel gate. He looked like the consular whose last name is "Qiu." We looked at him directly with righteous minds. Then he disappeared. I felt today's situation was quite unusual, so we decided to remain at the Chinese Consulate.
As expected, after 7:00 p.m., cars arrived at the consulate. The man who was furtively watching us came out to meet these people. It looked like an important event. Very soon, a taxi stopped in front of us, and an older Westerner stepped out. In the meantime, the steel gate opened, and the man who was watching us came out to welcome him as if he was a VIP. But he embarrassedly tried to block the VIP's attention so he could not see us. He quickly led the Western gentleman away and closed the gate.
It was completely dark, and there were more cars than people on the street. When the cars passed by, their lights shined on our poster board and the majority passed by at low speed. Many people waved to us and some raised their thumbs. No one came out of the steel door of the consulate until 8:00 p.m. A car arrived at the gate and a Westerner stepped out of the car. He looked at us while he was pushing the gate bell. We handed some materials to him and he accepted them happily. Then he drove the car into the gate.
Time passed by slowly. We didn't hear much noise from inside the dark yard. No one left, and it was already past 9:30 p.m. How could the banquet last this long? While we were wondering, there was a noise at the steel gate. A car came out slowly. We waved our hands to the people inside, and the guests blew their horn in a soft manner. The steel gate closed again. After about ten minutes, another car came out. The Chinese man who was peeking at us earlier said "goodbye" in Chinese to the people inside the car. Practitioners went to the car and said greetings to the people inside the car and handed them two sets of truth materials about Sujiatun. The people in the car said, "We hope you can continue and insist on doing this!" They left after saying goodnight to the practitioners.
The man who was watching us earlier stood there, looking shocked. A practitioner walked there and handed him a set of truth materials about Sujiatun and wished him good luck. He seemed to come back from being absent-minded and waved his hand with great anger and said, "You ruined my important business!" I replied, "Do you think there is anything more important than the killing in Sujiatun camp?" If you think that our letting people know the truth and help people quit the CCP ruined your important business as you said, isn't it a sign of a disintegrating CCP, as ordained by heaven?" He had nothing to say, closed the gate and didn't come out again.
Inside the steel gate, it seemed very quiet, but the people inside were constantly watching us. Several older people sitting here had such mighty power! It was a wonderful day.
