(Clearwisdom.net) Around 7 p.m. on February 24, 2006, practitioner from Beijing Mr. Zhong Kai was arrested on the way home from work by secret agents hiding in a local residential area. He is likely being held by the Xicheng District 610 Office. Also recently, a family-run truth clarification information center in the Haidian District was sabotaged and four Dafa practitioners were illegally arrested.
Mr. Pi Zhanlu and his wife, Liu Zhancui, from Shataizi Village, Anding Town in the Daxing District, were arrested from home in the evening after 7 p.m. on February 22. According to their family, the village Communist Party Secretary came to take them away with police officers from the town and from the Daxing District 610 Office. Dafa books and copies of "Minghui Weekly" were confiscated together with some other materials. The couple's whereabouts are currently unknown.
Practitioner Yang Shili, who used to practice the Falun Gong exercises openly in the Gaojiayuan area in the Chaoyang District, was arrested by the police on February 18 because he talked to people about the facts concerning Falun Gong.
On the evening of February 12, Dafa practitioner Ms. Yan Huiqin from the Haidian District was arrested by police from the National Security Branch of the Haidian Public Security Bureau from Beigongmen in Haidian. That same night she was taken to the Qinglongqiao Police Station and put into detention. The next day the police ransacked her home and took equipment and belongings worth tens of thousands of yuan. It is believed that she is in the Qinghe Detention Centre in Haidian and is seriously ill from persecution.
A Dafa practitioner from the Research Institute of Carrier Rocket Technology (No. 1 Institute, Department of Astronautics) was arrested from the 711 Hospital of the Astronautics Department after being reported by a nurse for telling people the facts concerning Falun Gong. According to our source, the hospital and the department recently promoted 2,000-yuan cash rewards to encourage residents to report Falun Gong practitioners to the authorities. The nurse received a 2,000-yuan reward.

Beijing Dafa disciple Ms. Wang Anlin, over 60 years of age and a retired medical doctor from Beijing Normal University, has been arrested by the police a number of times, unlawfully detained, sent to forced brainwashing centers, and to one and a half years of forced labor in the winter of 2001. In 2005, in the days leading up to July 20, the anniversary of the day that full scale persecution of Falun Gong began in 1999, she was arrested again by the police and kept in Beijing's Haidian Detention Center. Her situation since the start of 2006 is unknown.
In addition, the Haidian District 610 Office has been regularly arresting Dafa practitioners in the district over the past few days.
For nearly seven years, the CCP has lashed out with cruel persecution against a group of people pursuing "Truth, Compassion, Forbearance." More and more people around the world are awakening to the tyrannical nature of the CCP, which is truly a leading terrorist, having committed crimes beyond redemption.
