(Clearwidsom.net) Shortly after 10:00 a.m. on March 1, 2006, soon after Ms. Guo Lirong had left her home, four policemen from the Chenghua District went to Ms. Guo's home, intending to arrest her. Unable to find her, the policemen then went to Ms. Guo's parents' home many times to harass them. A police car waited outside of Ms. Guo's home until after 9:00 p.m. Policemen also followed her sister. These events terrified her 80-year-old bedridden parents.
Ms. Guo Lirong is a Falun Dafa practitioner. Because she remained steadfast in her beliefs, she was illegally fired by her employer, Chengdu Qianfeng Calorifier Factory. She was then unlawfully detained and tortured, and is now in critical condition.
On the afternoon of February 14, 2001, police officers illegally arrested Ms. Guo from her place of work by force. After Ms. Guo walked out of the police station, she could not go back home due to the threat of arrest. On October 7th, Ms. Guo went to a temple to clarify the truth of the persecution with monks, who reported her to authorities. She was sentenced to one year in a forced labor camp, and her family was not notified. When Ms. Guo was sent home on March 19, 2003, she was very thin and could not walk.
On September 1, 2005, the Chengdu Chenghua District Qinglu Police Station and the 610 Office arrested Ms. Guo from her home and sent her to Chenghua District Brainwashing Center. When Ms. Guo was released on September 7, she was barely alive.
When Ms. Guo, her son, and a few fellow practitioners went to the park on May 20, they were detained at a detention center under the charge of "holding an illegal gathering." The police station released them only after extorting 5,000 yuan from them. On June 30 of the same year, Ms. Guo was again forcibly arrested and detained at a police station late that night (the police were afraid that Ms. Guo would go to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Gong). Without any other choice, Ms. Guo went to Beijing to appeal on July 7, and she was sent back to the Chengdu Detention Center. The police station's and her employer's expenses from going to Beijing to search for her was close to 8,000 yuan, which was taken from her monthly pay. In addition, her salary was decreased.
After Ms. Guo Lirong was illegally terminated by the Chengdu Qianfeng Corporation, she did not have any income for five years. Her family now relies on her husband's small income to support their son's high school tuition. In addition, Ms. Guo has to take care of her elderly parents. From December 2005 to late February 2006, Ms. Guo had gone to the Chengdu Qianfeng Corporation many times to ask for her position back. However, her request is still not settled.
We are warning those that are still persecuting Dafa practitioners, that the consequences are severe for those who continue to persecute innocent people. I hope that more people will read the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, and that this cruel persecution will end soon.
