(Clearwisdom.net) In March 2005, I was very lucky to encounter Falun Dafa and to start cultivation. Within ten months, there occurred magical changes in my body, the elevation of my moral standard, and my understanding of the universe, time and dimensions, the human body, and the profound science of human life. All these made me understand that after dozens of years of hardships, fighting, illness demons and desperation, and striving hard, finally I found the real meaning of life. All along, I had been looking to find Falun Dafa, and now I have found it.
Dafa Elevates My Moral Standard
Before obtaining the Fa, I was a supervisor in an administrative department. How I presented myself to the public was totally different from what I actually did. What I talked was about how to take the lead in doing good things as a supervisor, but what was in my mind was always personal fame and profits. Whenever they invited me for meals, I would definitely show up. And I would never refuse whenever they gave me gifts. What is even worse, I used my power to seek money. I always thought if you did not get it, it was your own loss.
Master mentioned in Zhuan Falun:
"He used to take home pieces of towels from the mill, and so did all the other employees. After he learned our practice, he not only stopped taking things home, but also brought back what he took home before." (Feb. 2003, North America, Draft Translation Edition)
"Now that I've gotten this for nothing, how much virtue will I have to give back in return?" (Feb. 2003, North America, Draft Translation Edition)
And in Hong Yin, Master mentioned:
"Study the Fa and gain the Fa, Focus on how you study and cultivate, Let each and every thing be measured against the Fa. Only then, with that, is it actually cultivation."
I could hardly stop feeling the shock in my heart. Immediately I went back to my workplace and returned nearly ten thousand yuan to my four colleagues. I also tore up the receipt for thousands of yuan which I had been looking for excuses to reimburse for my personal expenditures. At this moment, I really had a feeling that,
"...if you can take a step back you'll see things in a whole new light."

Dafa Gives Me a Healthy Body
Several years ago, I suffered from hysterocarcinoma. After the operation, because of the radiotherapy treatments, my leucocyte level never reached normal. And as a result of this, I suffered from several other diseases, including cardiovascular disease. In order to recover physically as soon as possible, I took many risks to have medications and nutriments to improve my immunity system. I bought fitness equipment, did exercises and went jogging. However, things went contrary to my wishes. At the beginning of 2005, when my child made me angry, suddenly I felt I had no strength anywhere in my body. I had problems sleeping day and night. My blood pressure rose, and the rhythm of my heart quickened. I was hospitalized three months for treatment, but there was no improvement at all, even though I tried many expensive medications.
The anxiety and pains made me think of committing suicide. It was at this moment that a relative came to see me. When she saw me in such pain, she told me there was a Qigong that has a special healing effect. The problem was that now the government has banned it. "What do you think about it since you are in such an important position?" I answered quickly: "Is this Falun Gong? I heard about it. Anyone who knows how to do it -- please ask them to come and see me."
She told me that her uncle practiced Falun Gong. I asked her to phone him as soon as possible. Her uncle and aunt immediately came to my home, and the uncle told us in tears his experience of starting practicing Falun Gong. They also gave me a copy of Zhuan Falun. The uncle showed me how to do the five sets of exercises and also told me to finish reading the book.
At the time, I did not even have the strength to stand up. On the fifth day after I read the book, I gained my strength and could get up and walk. Later on, that relative also introduced a Dafa practitioner to accompany me to do the exercises. I believed in Master and I also believed in the Fa. Very soon, my body had no illness at all. I stopped using all the medication and nutriments. The moment I went on the path of cultivation, our compassionate Master pushed me and walked me forward. I went through two tests of sickness-karma elimination with utering bleeding for over ten days. In the tribulations, I believed firmly in Master and Dafa.
"When it's difficult to endure, you can endure it. When it's impossible to do, you can do it." (Zhuan Falun)
My fellow practitioners came to see me so many times and encouraged me. They encouraged me to overcome the tribulation and witness the miracle of Dafa.
I cannot help shedding tears. Thank you Master and thank you fellow practitioners. In this life, I have the predestined relationship to be a Dafa disciple. This was my ever-lasting hope.
