(Clearwisdom.net) An appeal letter with 16,000 Canadians' signatures was delivered to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on April 12, 2006. The letter requested the Canadian government to help investigate the crime of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners and cremating their bodies in the CCP's forced labor camps and secret concentration camps. Last Tuesday, renowned human rights lawyer David Matas suggested the international legal system should bring the CCP's criminals to justice.

On the same day, Falun Gong practitioners rallied in front of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to voice their urgent call for the Canadian government to take action to assist in the investigation. Former director of the Asian-Pacific Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs David Kilgour gave a speech to show support. An official of Ministry of Foreign Affairs met Falun Gong practitioners' representatives in the afternoon and accepted the 16,000 signatures to request an investigation into the CCP's harvesting of living Falun Gong practitioners' organs and 80,000 signatures calling for an end to the persecution.
Mr. Kilgour said to practitioners at the rally that he believed everyone in the building of Ministry of Foreign Affairs knew about the shocking pictures Falun Gong practitioners were showing and knew of Falun Gong's Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance. The Falun Gong practitioners had not done this in vain. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs clearly know what the CCP is doing. He expressed his gratitude to Falun Gong practitioners on behalf of the Canadian people.
Ms. Lucy Zhou, spokesperson for the Falun Dafa Association said the CCP had transferred Falun Gong practitioners from the secret concentration camp in Sujiatun and denied everything to the international community. Lucy said, "We learned from the investigation report of the Global Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong that many hospitals were rushing to do organ transplants. Quite a big portion of the organ supply was from Falun Gong practitioners. We are very worried that the CCP is killing Falun Gong practitioners to destroy evidence.
"We are asking the Canadian government and other international organizations to urge the CCP to open all forced labor camps and facilities with Falun Gong practitioners for investigation, to allow the Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China (CIPFG) to conduct on site investigations. Our ultimate goal is to release all detained Falun Gong practitioners and stop the persecution."
Renowned human rights lawyer David Matas said at the rally at Parliament Hill last Tuesday that the CCP is a system that shields crimes of violation of human rights. There was no independent legal system to punish crimes against humanity. He said we must take action against the crime of harvesting Falun Gong practitioners' organs. The legal system in Canada and other countries had to bring these criminals to justice before we could deter and stop such crimes against humanity.
Since the crime of harvesting Falun Gong practitioners' organs was discovered, Falun Gong practitioners in Canada have appealed at the Canadian Parliament and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, collected signatures and distributed flyers every day, rain or shine. Many MPs, lawyers and non-governmental organization have shown their support. Seven MPs attended the rally at Parliament Hill last week to show their support. Officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs met with Falun Gong practitioners several times to learn about the secret concentration camps.
