(Clearwisdom.net) Since the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) atrocities of harvesting organs from living practitioners inside the Sujiatun Concentration Camp was exposed, Las Vegas practitioners have been clarifying the truth to government officials and the public, and collecting signatures urging the Bush administration to bring up this issue and request an independent investigation when President Bush meets Hu Jintao next week.
On April 10, practitioners went to a local community college to collect signatures. As soon as they set up the "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" art exhibit, students came to appreciate the paintings and listen to practitioners' "truth clarification". A young student was very sad upon hearing about the atrocities and couldn't accept the large-scale massacre taking place in this 21st century. A practitioner told her the stories behind the paintings. The student then said, "You have done a very meaningful thing. You should let more people know about this. What can I do to help?"
The practitioner told her, "You can let people around you know about this."
The student then said, "Please give me some copies of the signature form. I will tell my classmates what you have told me and ask them to sign."
Two teenaged boys were playing in front of practitioners. After hearing the practitioners' signature requests to passersby, one boy asked, "Can I sign? I want to sign." The other boy also said, "I also want to sign." A practitioner then handed them a signature form and a pen. One of the boys asked why practitioners were collecting signatures. The practitioner told them about the CCP's atrocities. One of the two said, "Isn't that similar to the Nazis?" He then signed his name very seriously. The other boy also signed. They then proposed, "Can we help you distribute fliers?" Practitioners gave them a bundle of fliers. The boys distributed all of them in just a little while.
One practitioner also collected signatures at her restaurant. When customers were waiting for orders, she always took the opportunity to tell them about the atrocities. As soon as she finished, they would sign the petition. Once, every member of a big family signed their names. Some kindhearted seniors cried and told their children and grandchildren and even people sitting nearby to sign.
To date, practitioners have collected more than 1100 signatures. This is not just a number, it represents the conscience and caring of Las Vegas citizens.
