(Clearwisdom.net) After a few weeks of silence, officials from the Sujiatun District government, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, and the Sujiatun Thrombosis Center Hospital denied the existence of the Sujiatun concentration camp. Witnesses revealed that organ harvesting from live Falun Gong practitioners for profit was conducted there, and that the remains were cremated to destroy evidence.
The Chinese Communist Party denied these charges. Along the same lines, the CCP has denied the existence of the persecution of Falun Gong, of torture, human rights violations, and abuses of detainees in labor camps.
The world was shocked and outraged on March 8, when the first witness revealed the organ harvesting at Sujiatun. Many people called for immediate investigation and efforts to stop the violence. The CCP was unusually quiet. On March 23, the CCP's General Consul in Sydney Qiu Shaofeng and spokesperson of the CCP Embassy in Washington denied the existence of the Sujiatun atrocities when asked about it.
From 1991 to 2003, the number of liver transplants increased drastically, while the source of the organs was not explained. According to data from China's "Health Daily," a publication under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Health, between 1991 and 1998, there were only 78 liver transplants in China. Since 1999, which was the year when the CCP began persecuting Falun Gong, the number of transplants leaped from 116 cases in 1999 to 254 cases in 2000 and 465 cases in 2001. In 2003, the number reached a whooping 3000 cases. In China, it is very difficult to find anyone who would voluntarily give up organs, and the source for liver donation would be especially limited since the donor cannot survive without a liver. Where did these healthy livers come from, then?
On April 5, 2006, the "Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong" (CIPFG) published an urgent announcement, pointing out that according to sources in mainland China, since 2001, concentration camps similar to that in Sujiatun have been established in many different cities and provinces. The organ harvesting for profit from live Falun Gong practitioners under detention also began then.
A reader from Mainland China wrote to the Minghui/Clearwisdom website on April 13, saying, "On April 12, 2006, major hospitals in Jilin City held an emergency meeting. The details are yet to be investigated. Recently, patients' files in major hospitals were all sealed and any outside access to these files is forbidden. Right now, there are police guarding all of the major hospitals in Jilin City. It is similar to being under martial law, and ambulances rush into the hospitals in the evening."
This reader also revealed that the emergency meetings and unusual procedures at major hospitals in Jilin City have a direct connection with accelerating the handling of secretly held Falun Gong practitioners. These Falun Gong practitioners have been secretly held as a supply source for live organ harvesting by agents of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s Jiang and Luo group, the guards and the doctors.
A reporter from Sound of Hope Radio called hospitals in Hubei Province, Shanghai City, Liaoning Province, Beijing City, and Shaanxi Province, and was told by most hospitals that a large number of organs would be available by the end of April. After April, the supply would not be so plentiful; the "opportunity" is rare. Evidence indicates that some hospitals and transplant centers in China are rushing to perform a large number of transplant operations: A slaughter to destroy witnesses/victims of the concentration camps is happening.
There is a common saying among the Chinese in mainland China: The opposite of what the CCP (and its media) says is usually true. Although the CCP appeared quiet in the beginning, it was actually doing a lot under the table. During the period of silence, it moved everyone in the Sujiatun Concentration Camp. To pretend its innocence, the CCP hastily passed the "Interim Regulation on Human Organ Transplant Practice" on March 27. However, the regulation would not be effective until July 1, 2006, allowing the CCP enough time to destroy the evidence. On the following day, March 28, three weeks after the Sujiatun Concentration Camp was first exposed, Qin Gang, spokesperson of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, denied the existence of Sujiatun Concentration Camp at a routine press conference. He also said reporters are welcome to visit the site.
At about 10:00 a.m. (local time in Australia) on April 19, 2006, Sound of Hope radio reporter Linda Xu went to the Chinese Consulate General in Sydney to submit her application for an entry visa to China. Linda Xu explained that as a reporter for Sound of Hope radio, she hoped to enter China together with other representatives of the CIPFG to conduct an independent investigation into forced labor camps, prisons, hospitals and other facilities where Falun Gong practitioners are detained. The official at the consulate denied her visa and replied, "Then you go to find Qin Gang yourself for the invitation!"
A third witness, an older military doctor from the Shenyang area, stepped forward and confirmed the existence of the Sujiatun Concentration Camp, the prevalence of organ snatching and subsequent cremation. In addition, he pointed out that Sujiatun was only one of 36 such concentration camps in China. He also said that transporting thousands of people took only one day with a cargo train, which would be carried out at night with fully armed personnel. Since Falun Gong practitioners have been classified as "class enemies," the methods used to deal with them are extreme.
It is no surprise that the CCP dared to use the April 11 press conference to deny the existence of the concentration camps. Its press conference will probably be even bigger when the interim regulations become effective on July 1, 2006.
The CCP, on the one hand, pretends to be innocent, continuing to lie to the international community, and using foreign media to evade investigation and punishment. On the other hand, which is more hidden, it is using the time when people first hear the news, are shocked, and do not know what to believe in, to delay any substantial investigation and actions to end the persecution, gaining a large amount of time to destroy evidence.
No matter what kind of pretence the CCP puts on, can it provide a reasonable explanation for the sudden surge in organ supply for transplants across China in a short amount of time?
A genocide is happening. The human race is going through one of the darkest, most fanatical and brutal massacres in history. Any waiting or hesitation is implied permission for the CCP's crimes, and will directly result in the loss of more innocent lives. When the good people don't do anything, the wicked people will do bad things without restraint. There have been too many such examples in history.
All of the persecution and massacres of Falun Gong practitioners that have been exposed are real and documented; they were not created to sound sensational. All of the persecution cases reported on Clearwisdom.net are real. The Falun Gong practitioners risk their lives to pass these messages outside of China despite the CCP's information blockage. Among the practitioners who died from the persecution, a fair number were tortured to death because they spread the truth of the persecution. According to Clearwisdom.net, from 1999 to April 2006, Clearwisdom.net has collected and published 22,628 cases of persecution. In March 2006 alone, about 300 cases were reported. As many as 4,154 practitioners have been reported to have died from the persecution, 2,866 of which have been verified, and 1,288 still need more information.
After relocating everything in the Sujiatun Concentration Camp, the CCP began lying and denying its existence. However, can it deny these over 22,000 persecution cases with names, locations, and details that are spread out in 31 provinces and cities, as well as the over 4,000 death cases? The CCP can use a couple of weeks to destroy evidence at Sujiatun, and eliminate traces of organ harvesting and cremation there, but its enormous crimes and their evidence are not deniable or destructible.
The world cannot be further deceived by the CCP's denial or be used by its vicious lies. The international community needs to take immediate action to participate in or support the CIPFG, and to stop the persecution and killing that have gone on for the last seven years against Falun Gong practitioners. The heavens and gods are watching above, and upright people are around us in the human world. The CCP will not be able to shirk the responsibilities of its crimes!
