(Clearwisdom.net) On the afternoon of April 25, 2006, the seventh anniversary of the "April 25" Appeal, representatives of The Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China (CIPFG) went to the Chinese Consulate General in San Francisco to apply for visas to enter China to thoroughly look into the persecution facts against Falun Gong practitioners and collect evidence. At the same time, practitioners in the Bay Area held a rally outside the Chinese Consulate to expose the CCP's monstrous atrocities of brutally torturing and abusing and harvesting organs from Falun Gong practitioners. They called for an end to the persecution.
Practitioners in the Bay Area held a rally outside the Chinese Consulate to expose the CCP's live organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners and call for an end to the persecution.
Representatives from the CIPFG who came to apply for visas included: NTDTV reporters Zhang Fen and Xu Zhen. This is the first time for investigators in the US to apply visas at the CCP's Consulate, following the formal visa applications from investigators in Australia and Europe to request to go to Mainland China to investigate the facts.
CCP diplomat's sincerity of inviting the international media to go to Mainland China to investigate will be verified
Investigators Zhang Fen and Xu Zhen entered the visa hall at the Chinese Consulate at 2:00 p.m. and joined the queue for visa application. Several media reporters followed them into the visa hall, trying to make a report on it. The consulate staff saw reporters' cameras and videocams, and immediately walked up to try to drive them out. One consulate officer even attempted to grab NTDTV reporter's videocam. Reporters questioned that this is a public place for people to apply for visas, if no picture taken were allowed inside the hall, we would not do so, but why reporters were not allowed to watch the whole process of investigators' visa applications. One of the consulate officer said he only did things according to the directives from above.
In less than five minutes after entering the visa hall, two investigators were called into a room to meet an official for twenty minutes.
Zhang Fen said an official for visa application came to talk with them. She explained to the official that she came to respond to the open invitation from the spokesperson for the CCP's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Qin Gang, at a press conference.
Zhang Fen said she said she hoped to be able to enter China to join in the investigation prior to May 1, because the live organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners for profit is taking place in forced labor camps throughout the country, and Chinese hospitals expressed that there were a large number of organ sources prior to May 1, and no organs would be available after May 1. Many witnesses expressed that this indicates that the CCP is removing the evidence of crimes. The official did not respond to this.
Zhang Fen said when she asked the official what the CCP officials think of investigators' applying for visas to go to China to investigate the persecution of Falun Gong, he said he knew the reporters are eloquent and are able to ask many questions, but he is helping issue visa applications here, not participating in an interview.
When Zhang Fen asked him about the visa application, the official answered that this application has gone beyond his purview, and he could not make the decision now. He said he would ask for instructions from above in China and then give her a reply. After collecting related application materials, photocopy of passport, and contact information, the talk was over.
Xu Zhen said that the two investigators have had their visa application rejected. If they could obtain the visas, they would have to wait.
Zhang Fen expressed that time is pressing. She would soon call the Consulate, and she hoped to get a positive reply. At the time, Qin Gang's sincerity of inviting international media to go to Mainland China to investigate would be verified.
CIPFG aims to look into all facilities where Falun Gong practitioners have been locked up
Sherry Zhang, spokesperson for Falun Gong and the CIPFG expressed that according to various investigations, in Mainland China, the largest places where Falun Gong practitioners have been mercilessly tortured and abused are forced labor camps and prisons. Under the CCP's policy of "beating [Falun Gong practitioners] to death means nothing," brutal persecution, including sex abuses and harassment, live organ harvesting and other tortures and abuses, happening in these places reached the peak in 2003.
Sherry Zhang said that not until three weeks after witnesses came out to expose the dark truth in the Sujiatun Concentration Camp did the CCP's Ministry of Foreign Affairs came out to deny the charge and invite the international media to investigate. However, within the three weeks, the CCP has destroyed all evidence, and transferred all witnesses. All people who looked into the Sujiatun would find nothing there.
Sherry Zhang pointed out that Sujiatun is only the tip of the iceberg, and atrocities of live organ removal for profit have been taking place in all forced labor camps, prisons and other related facilities throughout China. It is now time for the iceberg to surface in the water, and if the investigation is not carried out in time, the CCP will have the time to destroy all witnesses and material evidence and put on another show by inviting an investigation.
Xu Zhen expressed that the CCP has been good at hiding evidence. Only Falun Gong practitioners truly understand its evil nature, and know where it has committed crimes. Therefore, we will go to the particular places this time--all places where Falun Gong practitioners have been detained, to conduct interviews and cover the true situation of Falun Gong practitioners being tortured and abused.
The CCP produced the "April 25" incident, and chose their path to demise
Falun Gong practitioner Bian Xuzhuang who came from Beijing witnessed the "April 25" Appeal. He said that today seven years ago, the Chinese Falun Gong practitioners collectively reported to the Chinese leaders about the Tianjin police's beating and arresting dozens of Falun Gong practitioners. The practitioners requested the release of practitioners, and to be given an environment for free exercise, and the right to publish Falun Gong books. Ten thousand Falun Gong practitioners exercised the right of citizens to peacefully appeal in Beijing.
Bian Xuzhuang said during the time, the Falun Gong practitioners were orderly. After the problems were properly resolved, they left quietly, taking away waste paper, and police officer's cigarette butts that littered the streets. But, the CCP's Jiang regime saw that there were so many people practicing Falun Gong, out of their severe jealousy, they framed Falun Gong and lied, saying that Falun Gong practitioners "besieged" Zhongnanhai. Triggered by this incident, the CCP launched a nation-wide persecution of Falun Gong beginning on July 20, 1999. They made a series of genocidal policies to attempt to eradicate Falun Gong. The policies included, "Defame their reputation, bankrupt them financially, destroy them physically," "Beating to death means nothing, and is counted as suicide," and "The body shall be directly cremated without investigating the person's identification."
Bian Xuzhuang said that the "April 25" incident was produced by the CCP. It turned over a hundred million people and their families against the CCP, and therefore the CCP and Jiang chose a path of demise.
