Invited by the annual Asia-Pacific Culture Festival, Falun Gong practitioners in Las Vegas held for the first time a Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance Painting Exhibition at the Sahara Library on April 29. It was a beautiful display of the works of Falun Gong practitioner artists.

Each painting tells a real story, and each painting touched the heart and soul of each visitor. The viewers came and looked, quietly and silently, and listened to practitioners' explanations. Some people's eyes were moist with tears, some squatted to take a good look at the paintings. Some made a Heshi gesture before leaving and others made a deep bow to practitioners. Some left to tell their friends and families and returned with them. Some visited the exhibit several times. They were shaken by practitioners' uncompromising spirits and were extremely shocked by the furtive and vicious methods the CCP has adopted to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. Many people asked, "When did all this happen?"

Practitioners told them, "Right now, in Mainland China, it happens every day. And every day, there are Falun Gong practitioners who are subjected to torture and abuse and even killed for not renouncing their belief. Even more appalling is that, in the CCP's forced labor camps, Falun Gong practitioners have their organs removed and sold for profit. Only a little anesthesia was administered before their organs were removed. Some Falun Gong practitioners suffered tremendous pain and then were cremated when they were still breathing. Here we have witnesses' testimonies. Please do not forget to tell your families and friends about this. Let us join together to end this most depraved and outrageous genocide!"

The exhibition started at 10:00 a.m. and concluded at 3:30 p.m. When the practitioners got ready to leave, a passerby asked if they had just arrived. She was very upset to learn that the exhibit was over. The practitioners then showed her the paintings one by one. She looked at all the works and left satisfied.

Practitioners had intended to present the Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance painting exhibit that has been shown around the world to residents in Las Vegas before, but in previous times the Culture Festival only allowed them one booth. The manager of the library learned of the practitioners' proposal and immediately consented to arrange enough room for them to hold the exhibition during the festival. Two weeks later when practitioners were told to go to see the site, they were pleasantly surprised that the library had arranged an exhibition hall that usually requires reservations four years in advance. This was a very appropriate setting for practitioners to hold the exhibition.
