(Clearwisdom.net) By the time late spring and early summer arrive, Ontario Province, Canada enters a beautiful season. During this time of year, many cities host multi-cultural festivals in which the immigrant communities display their diverse cultures. These festivals are also the stage for Falun Dafa practitioners to clarify the truth to the people of Canada. The practitioners of southwest Ontario worked together and participated in a series of festivals in Guelph, Kitchener-Waterloo, and Hamilton. They displayed the beauty of Falun Dafa, exposed the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution of Falun Gong and clarified the truth to many people.

Stage Performances -- Presenting Falun Dafa's Style
Last year, the Toronto Lotus Art Performance Troupe's performances by young Dafa practitioners left a deep impression on the Guelph Multi-cultural festival's organizers. This year, they invited the Falun Gong practitioners to perform at the festival again and put a photo of the Lotus Art Performance Troupe on the festival poster. But the Lotus Art Performance Troupe had a lot of appointments and couldn't participate in Guelph's festival. With help from Toronto practitioners, we invited Mr. Jiang Weifeng, a famous Erhu performer who happened to be in Canada. Jiang Weifeng played two musical pieces and won warm applause. Several Falun Gong practitioners demonstrated the exercises in white exercise suits while a Western practitioner introduced the exercises. At Kitchener-Waterloo, the Fan Dance performance won a lot cheers. After the stage performance, many audience members asked for information about Falun Dafa. These performances are an effective Fa-promotion channel.

Paper Lotus Flowers -- Messengers to Deliver the Truth
The lotus flower represents purity and graciousness. When practitioners give visitors a paper lotus flower, people are so pleased and say things such as, "It's pretty!" "It's great!" "Thank you for letting me have this." The paper lotus flowers have become a good medium for clarifying the truth. For months, the practitioners prepared a lot of paper lotus flowers and printed a Falun Dafa website address and "Falun Dafa is good," "The world needs Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" in the center. This information gives predestined people an opportunity to learn more about Falun Dafa.

The owner of the booth next to us saw that a lot of people in the park had a paper lotus flower on their braids, arms or body, so she came to our booth to "order one flower". After she read carefully through the truth-clarification materials, she solemnly signed her name on the petition form requesting an end to the persecution. On the second day, she came to our booth again to make lotus flowers with practitioners. After she learned more about the truth, she said she would pass the information along to her daughter, who is presently working in the movie industry in the UK.
Chinese Calligraphy -- Helping People Know "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance"
As a special feature at the multi-culture festivals, Falun Gong practitioners with talents in Chinese calligraphy wrote the Chinese characters for, "The World Needs Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance" and peoples' names in Chinese characters. Their tables often had a long line of people waiting to receive the calligraphy.
While the visitors were waiting, other practitioners would chat with them. During the talks, people learned that Falun Dafa has spread throughout the world. Falun Dafa's basic principle is "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." Every practitioner guides their life according to "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" and strives to be a better person. Upon hearing this, many people would respond with, "If everyone conducted themselves according to Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, how beautiful this world would be!"
When people learned that the Chinese Communist Party is harvesting vital organs from living Falun Gong practitioners who are illegally jailed in China to sell for profit, they signed their names on the signature book. The international community is awakening to the crimes taking place in China, and this is helping to end the persecution earlier. Some visitors also asked for materials in Chinese to show their Chinese friends and colleagues.

A Canadian family came to our table. The mother said she was going to work in China and she couldn't understand why the Chinese Communist Party wants to persecute such a peaceful group. A practitioner gave her a copy of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. She thanked them and said she would study these materials before going to China.

Chinese People Want to Learn the Truth
We met many Chinese people at the festivals. Some of them came to us to ask for more truth-clarification materials.
One man from Shandong Province said he got a copy of the Nine Commentaries in Toronto. He experienced the history mentioned in the Nine Commentaries. "The Nine Commentaries speak the truth," he said. A young man from Changchun City, Jilin Province spoke to a practitioner, "I read through the Nine Commentaries. I will withdraw from the CCP as soon as I become a Canadian citizen."
A young man came to our table and said, "Do you have the Nine Commentaries VCDs? When you played the video, I watched a lot of them but still missed some." He left with the required VCDs, satisfied.
One man from Tianjin came with his son. A practitioner gave the boy a paper lotus flower. He hung the flower on the boy's bicycle and took some truth-clarification materials with his other hand. He said to the son, "Say 'thank you' to granny [a respectful term for an older Chinese woman]." The father and son thanked the practitioners and left.
A couple from Hunan Province said they watched the Nine Commentaries VCDs in China. A middle-aged women accepted a truth-clarification VCD and said, "I have had a question for a long time. If Falun Gong improves people's health, why doesn't the Communist Party allow people to practice it? I must watch the VCD to find the answer." A practitioner told her, "Knowing the truth will benefit you." She smiled.
