1. [Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Sun Zhifen on Brink of Death at Heilongjiang Province Women's Prison

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Sun Zhifen from Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province is in her 50s. She was illegally sentenced to 12 years in prison and is being held at Heilongjiang Province Women's Prison. Right now she is on the brink of death from torture. She has whole-body edema, has lost sight in one eye and hearing in one ear. Her family requested medical treatment, but the prison authorities are doing everything possible to stonewall the family.

Ms. Sun Zhifen began a hunger strike on June 25, 2006 to protest the persecution. She soon experienced symptoms of severe illness, and a hospital diagnosed her with diabetes.

2. [Heilongjiang Province] Dafa Practitioner Mr. Zhao Hongwu Cannot Take Care of Himself Due to Gross Abuse at the Hulan Prison

Police officer Yang Bingwen forced Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhao Hongwu to work extra hours at night on February 25, 2005. He also savagely beat Zhao Hongwu. Following the beating, Zhao Hongwu began to vomit blood and his weight eventually dropped by about 30 pounds. He developed a chronic, low-grade fever and cannot see clearly. His hands and feet are numb and he has difficulty walking and taking care of himself.

Ms. Zhou Feiyan was arrested from work on March 6, 2006. Participating in the arrest were officers from the Changsha City Public Transportation Bureau. The Yuelu District Court in Changsha City was planning to try Dafa practitioner Zhou Feiyan on July 18, 2006, simply because she practices Falun Gong.

4. [You County, Hunan Province] Dafa Practitioner Mr. Zhou Jingcheng Brutally Force-fed After Holding Hunger Strike to Protest Persecution

Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhou Jingcheng has been tortured and tormented under the persecution for more than six months after he was arrested and detained at the Wangling Prison in You County. Officers from the Ningxiang County Police Department had arrested and detained practitioner Mr. Zhou more than ten times. He was savagely beaten and brutally tortured and the police extorted 25,000 yuan from him.

On July 5, 2006, officers from the National Security Division at Huanan County Police Department bribed officials of the Jiamusi City Labor Camp. That made it possible for them to send Dafa practitioner Mr. Li Cheng from Huanan County, Heilongjiang Province to the labor camp. This followed his sentence of three years of forced labor. This is the third time Li Cheng was sent to the Jiamusi City Labor Camp since he was arrested on June 15, 2006.

At the same time Mr. Cheng was sent to that camp, Dafa practitioner Ms. Hu Xiuling was also sent there. She had been arrested on May 15 and was sentenced to one year of forced labor.

6. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Dafa Practitioners Ms. Jiao Shuqing and Ms. Wang Chunying Arrested

Around 9:00 p.m. on May 29, 2006, Dafa practitioners Ms. Jiao Shuqing, 58 years old, and Ms. Wang Chunying, 68 years old, from Guojiabozi, Nanfen, Benxi City were arrested by local police officers when they distributed truth clarification materials there. Their home was later ransacked. The two Dafa practitioners are being held at the Beitai Drug Rehabilitation Center.

Dafa practitioner Ms. Jiang Shuqin who works at the Hailin City Farm School clarified the truth to the teachers and students at the school. The school officials, local "610 Office" agents and police officers harassed and threatened Jiang Shuqin and her family many times and transferred her somewhere else.

In July 2002, guards Song Wengang and Xi Hui ordered drug addict detainee Wu Xuemei to torment and torture Dafa practitioner Ms. Shi Shuangshuang. Wu Xuemei forbade Shi Shuangshuang from sitting down to rest. Ms. Shi Shuangshuang was forbidden to take showers in the summer; and she was forced to stand against a wall because she refused to write a guarantee statement. Wu Xuemei also forced Shi Shuangshuang to straighten her legs and bend at 90 degree angle, with her hands touching the tip of her shoes and stand completely still in this position.

On the evening of July 10, 2006, officers from the Qixingpao Town Police Department in Baoqing County, Shuangyashan City, Heilongjiang Province arrested a woman Dafa practitioner in her 40s from Jinshahe Village, Qixingpao Town. The police ransacked her home and took her computer, printer, some other materials and all of her Dafa books. The practitioner is presently being held at the Baoqing County Detention Center.

Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Delan was arrested on May 31, 2006. She was detained for one month and was then sentenced to two years of forced labor. The police officers in Guangan demanded 20,000 yuan from her family before they would release her.

Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Shuyun is in her 40s. She was reported and arrested on December 23, 2005 when posting up truth-clarification flyers. Wang Shuyun is held at the Miyun County Detention Center. Her life is in danger from abuse.

Wang Shuyun and Zhou Suqin were each sentenced to two years of forced labor.

Dafa practitioner Ms. Luo Xiu retired from her post at the Jianan branch of the Shuikuang Corporation. Kong Lingyi from "610 Office" took her away in February 2006. She was sentenced to three years of forced labor and is now being held at the Zhongba Women's Forced Labor Camp in Guizhou Province.

A Dafa practitioner in Chongyang County, Hubei Province was arrested in early June 2006. Three Dafa practitioners from Chibi City, Hubei Province: Mr. Lei Shengping, Mr. Zhong Shengbang, Mr. Lai Yongcai, and Ms. Liu Xiaolian were arrested.

Mr. Cao Jun, 30 years old, was a former employee at the Wangjiazhai Propaganda Section of the Shuikuang Corporation. He was arrested in the Xiaohe District, Guiyang City, Guizhou Province the end of October 2002 and was sentenced to eight years in prison. He is now being held at the Duyun Prison in Guizhou Province.

On July 7, 2006, Dafa practitioner Ms. Wu Aichun from Pingtang Town, Wangcheng County, Changsha City was summoned to the Pingtang Town Police Department, but has not returned home since.

21. [Nanyang City, Henan Province] Police Arrest and Torture Dafa Practitioner Mr. Zhao Weijun

Police officers from Nanyang City broke into the home of Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhao Weijun because he was caught accessing the Clearwisdom/Minghui website. They ransacked his home and arrested him. They also poured boiling water on him.

22. [Meishan, Sichuan Province] Brainwashing Class Held in Renshou County to Persecute Dafa Practitioners

A brainwashing class was held at the Tianli Mountain Resort in Renshou County, Meishan, Sichuan Province in late June 2006. More than 30 Dafa practitioners were arrested and sent to that brainwashing class. They are held because they refuse to write guarantee statements to renounce their belief in Dafa.

Dafa practitioners Ms. He Wanru, Ms. Tao Wenhong, Ms. Tao Wenyan and others from Baotou, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region were arrested on December 25, 2005. Participating in the arrest were officers from the Chengguan Police Station in the Jiuyuan District Police Department in Baotou and from the National Security Division. Right now, they are being held at the Baotou City Detention Center. Tao Wenyan is vomiting blood from torture, and He Wanru has been holding a hunger strike for more than seven days.

On the afternoon of June 21, 2006, "610 Office" agents from the Hulunbeier Region along with a dozen local police officers including Wei Jianfu arrested Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Jinling from home and sent her to the Moqi Brainwashing Class.

Dafa practitioner Ms. Pan Rongchun, 27 years old, was arrested in Longgang Town, Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province at around 3:00 p.m. on June 22, 2006. She is now being held at the Yixian County Detention Center.

Practitioner Ms. Chang Jianzhen from Changsha City who lives in the No. 6 District, the Hunan Provincial Government, was sentenced to forced labor in June 2006. The sentence was to be served at the Baimalong Women's Forced Labor Camp in Zhuzhou City.

28. [Beijing] Practitioner Bu Dongwei Arrested Two Months Ago

Personnel from the Haidian District Police Department arrested practitioner Mr. Bu Dongwei from the Haidian District at home on the evening of May 19, 2006.

Bu Dongwei wrote a letter to the central regime officials in 2000 appealing for the rights of Falun Gong practitioners. He was thus sentenced to one year of forced labor and held at the Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp in Beijing.

Personnel from the Qinhuangdao City National Security Division arrested practitioner Mr. Su Wenzhong, an employee of the China Construction Bank while he was at work on the morning of July 10, 2006. Su Wenzhong was sent directly to the Baoding City Forced Labor Camp for two years.

30. [Yan'an City, Shaanxi Province] Practitioner Cao Huashan Sentenced to Forced Labor

Personnel from Yan'an City's "610 Office" and from the National Security Bureau sentenced the practitioner couple Mr. Cao Huashan and Ms. Li Shulian and also Ms. Liu Lingxia to forced labor. The practitioner couple had been sentenced to forced labor four times.

31. [Tianjin] Personnel from Tanggu District Court Attempt to Sentence Practitioner Zhang Xiuying

Eleven people from the No. 9 Team, the Tanggu District Police Department and the Tanggu District Residential Administrative Committee broke into practitioner Ms. Zhang Xiuying's home at 7:00 a.m. on April 13, 2006. The police arrested Zhang Xiuying and confiscated her computer, multi-function printer, and some Falun Dafa materials. They even arrested Zhang Xiuying's husband and their child. Her husband and child were released in the afternoon.

Zhang Xiuying has been held for three months. Personnel from the Tanggu District Court attempted to hold a hearing for Zhang Xiuying on July 11.

32. [Tianjin] Banqiao Women's Forced Labor Camp Officials Persecute Yao Shilan and Other Practitioners

During 2000 and 2001, Banqiao Woman Forced Labor Camp officials in Tianjin held practitioners Ms. Yao Shilan, Ms. Wu Xiulan as well as many others practitioners in their 50s to 60s whose names were unknown. They even held 72-year-old practitioner Ms. Chen Ke. Policemen urged drug addict Feng Yi to torture Ms. Yao. They deprived her of sleep and forced her to do the heaviest work.

Since practitioner Ms. Su Yinhua from Beijing was arrested and her home ransacked on March 22, 2006, she was transferred from the Shiliuyuan Police Station to the Fengtai District Detention Center and then to the Beijing Forced Labor Personnel Distribution Center. She is presently being held at the Beijing Women's Forced Labor Camp.

34. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Supplemental Information Regarding the Persecution of Practitioner Zhou Aiying

Practitioner Ms. Zhou Aiying is from the Chengyang District, Qingdao City, Shandong Province. Police arrested her from work on May 15, 2006. Afterwards the police confiscated a VCD player, a desktop computer, two laptop computers, two laser printers, two inkjet printers, a copy machine, a laminating machine, a paper cutter and a safe. The safe contained a 7,000 or 8,000 yuan deposit certificate as well as 40,000 yuan in cash. Her family went to ask for the safe many times, but the local police station agents denied their request to return their personal property.

After practitioner Ms. Liu Xiuzhi, an employee of the Qingdao Marine Science and Technology Museum, was forced to quit her job on July 4, 2006, she was forced to attend a "reform" class at the political affair department under the surveillance of persons from the museum. Liu Xiuzhi started a hunger strike on July 8 to protest the persecution and unjust treatment.

Personnel from the Henan Province Oil Field Police Department arrested practitioner Ms. Zhang Jianhua when she was distributing truth-clarifying materials on May 31, 2006. They ransacked her home and put her into a detention center. Police claimed that they would sentence her to one year of forced labor. She has been sent to the Shibalihe Women's Forced Labor Camp for further persecution.

The police arrested practitioner Mr. Zhang Huaijun from Guantao County on February 12, 2006. Mr. Zhang is currently being held at the Handan City Forced Labor Camp. The police did not permit any family visits.

The police confiscated a TV, a VCD, a copy machine, two paper cutters and all the cash in Mr. Zhang's home. They even took away several yuan worth of coins from the child's piggy bank!

After Zhang Huaijun's wife was held at the Handan City Brainwashing class for 38 days, she was then transferred to the Shijiazhuang City Forced Labor Camp. The camp rejected her admission because of her poor health. Thus, she was put on probation, but was "fined" 6,000 yuan.

Under pressure from the media, Beixing City police transferred practitioner Ms. Hu Xiuyan from the Hongxinglong Detention Center back home for further persecution on July 9, 2006. Her family members cooperated with the persecution. Her home phone is disconnected and nobody can visit her. Two policewomen watch her home around the clock.

Ms. Deng Xinhua was arrested on July 9 while clarifying the truth; she is currently being detained at the Yuguantun Police Precinct in Dezhou City.

On July 5, 2006, Ms. Meng Lijun's family again went to Shandong Province Women's Prison to visit her. When the guard escorted Meng Lijun out, her family noticed Meng Lijun was a bit overweight and looked sullen and she was not quite coherent.

Ms. Meng and her family cried repeatedly during the one-hour meeting. Meng Lijun clearly told her family, "They put drugs in my food."

42. [Shanxi Province] Yuci City Women's Prison Forbids Family Visits for Practitioners

A practitioner from Huixian County, Henan Province was arrested for distributing truth-clarifying materials in Shanxi Province and was held at the Yuci City Women's Prison. The practitioner's family went to the prison to see her/him on June 22, 2006 but was refused to meet with their loved one.

43. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Song Xiulan Arrested

Practitioner Ms. Song Xiulan, about 56 years old, was reported to police the night of July 6, 2006 when she was clarifying the truth. The persecutors arrested her that night and searched her house. A computer, a printer, her salary card, two bank books (how much money was unknown), her grandson's reading machine and other personal belongings were confiscated. She is presently being held at the Weifang City Detention Center.

Ms. Yang Guoqiang, 31 years old, single, from Yangjuanmao Village, Zhaowang Town, Dongguang County, is a computer teacher at the Zhaowang Town Secondary School. During Zhaowang Secondary School's summer holiday the end of June 2006, principal Liang Hongxin slandered Falun Dafa during a meeting. Yang Guoqiang stood up immediately and clarified the truth. Liang Hongxin reported this after the meeting.
