Greetings esteemed Teacher! Greetings fellow practitioners!

In mid-October 2005, I came back to the Washington DC area after participating in the Manhattan "truth-clarifying" project. I planned to clarify the truth to people in China over the phone and the Internet. This way I could stay at home, take care of my family and do the three things at the same time. One day I went to Chinatown in DC to take care of personal matters and met a fellow practitioner. She told me that no one was distributing the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party at the Service Center for Quitting the CCP in DC that day. I thought that distributing the Nine Commentaries was more important, so I said to her, "I will do it." We went to the Service Center. Since then I have been distributing the Nine Commentaries at DC’s tourist spots.

The Service Center for Quitting the CCP is located in front of the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum and is the only window in DC to directly clarify the truth and distribute the Nine Commentaries to Chinese tourist groups from China, who come to the museum every day. As long as we stay there, there will be opportunity for predestined people to be saved, just as Teacher said,

On my first day at the Service Center in front of the Air and Space Museum, a tour guide from China told me, "This is the sixth time I have come to Washington, DC this year, but this is the first time I met a Falun Gong practitioner here. My mother is doing much better than you, although she is over 70 years old." I thought, "Although these words came from a non-practitioner, they told us what we should do in DC. We should do better in utilizing the tourist environment to distribute the Nine Commentaries and to clarify the truth in cooperating with fellow practitioners in China. To fulfill our historic mission bestowed by Dafa, we cannot leave any predestined person behind."

What can we do so that we do not miss any predestined persons or leave any regrets? After sharing with fellow practitioners, we decided to increase our time at the Service Center. We would be there every day from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or 5:00 p.m., depending on the number of Chinese tourists. Since then, we have been clarifying the truth to Chinese tourists in front of the museum whether it is cold or hot, rain or snow.

We have developed a routine. We first send forth righteous thoughts to cleanse the area. We send forth righteous thoughts towards each Chinese tourist group first to disintegrate all evil elements that may prevent them from accepting the Nine Commentaries or from listening to the truth. Afterwards, it becomes easier for them to accept the Nine Commentaries or other truth-clarification materials. Several days later, I found out the reason why there were so many large tourist groups from China at that time. It was close to China’s fiscal-year end and CCP government officials were trying to spend the remaining annual budget funds through the tours between October and December. Most of the visitors were CCP government officials. Tourist guides said that the majority of the visitors were high-level officials. Normally it is very hard for us to meet them. Now they were appearing in front of our doors. It was a very good opportunity for our overseas practitioners to distribute the Nine Commentaries. At the time we were also busy selling Gala tickets. Therefore we were short-handed. We discussed and decided to take turns at the Air and Space Museum. We wanted at least one practitioner distributing the Nine Commentaries to Chinese tourists daily, especially between 2 and 5 p.m., because many Chinese tourists would arrive at that time. Some came in buses and others came in vans.

One day two Chinese tourists from Beijing asked to withdraw from the CCP with their real names. A few days later, a Chinese lady asked to withdraw from the CCP on the spot. I was very happy for them. Chinese people have truly awakened.

I spend about four to five hours on the road to and from DC and more than 10 hours together every day. One day I decided to spend the day with my husband. (My husband is not a Falun Gong practitioner yet. He is not in good health.) Just when I thought about being lazy, my husband said to me, "Aren’t you supposed to go to DC today?" I asked, "Why do you ask?" He said, "I want to go to DC today." I replied, "Great. Why don’t we go together?" We had to take two buses. After we got off the first bus, my husband said, "It is too late to go to DC; I decided to stay at home. Why don’t you go alone?" By the time I arrived at the museum, it was already 2 p.m., the time when most of Chinese tours occur. I realized that it was not my husband who wanted to go to D.C but it was Teacher who wanted me to go to DC to distribute the Nine Commentaries! This experience taught me I must not have any human thoughts. Teacher said, "In Fa-Rectification Your Thoughts Have to be Righteous, Not Human".

That day there were more Chinese tour groups than usual. I ran out of truth-clarification materials and stayed until dark. It was past 8:00 p.m. when I arrived home. My husband had already made dinner. Because of my family’s support, I am able to go out and distribute the Nine Commentaries day after day.

Once on a snowy day, it took me eight hours to travel back and forth from DC. It was a difficult trip, but I didn’t feel it as a hardship as long as sentient beings could be saved. When I saw people from China reading Nine Commentaries while walking in the slippery snow and talking about it, my heart was filled with joy.

It is difficult to distribute the Nine Commentaries and Falun Gong’s truth-clarification materials at tourist spots because of the open space. Before the gala of 2006, a young fellow practitioner volunteered to deliver materials, posters and banners. She played Nine Commentaries on her Little Bee daily and the effect was great. I would like to take this opportunity to thank her. After the 2006 Gala, she started looking for a job and could no longer deliver materials. We began to bring truth-clarification materials and banners on our own. If we didn’t bring enough materials, we would run out by the end of the day. But if we brought too many, it would be too heavy for us to carry. We each bring a backpack on wheels and can bring enough of what we need for the day. The bag is very heavy on the way there, but is very light on the way back.

One day around 4:30 p.m. a bus with Chinese tourists arrived. As soon as they got off the bus, they came to the Service Center and picked up copies of the Nine Commentaries. Some were not even interested in visiting the Air and Space Museum. They stayed outside to read it. They must have been predestined people coming to the United States to look for the Nine Commentaries.

One day only one man from a tour bus took the Nine Commentaries. Other tourists in the same group surrounded and verbally attacked him. He replied, "You may choose not to read it, but I want to read it. You are afraid of the CCP, but I am not. Do you have other materials? Give me one of each." What powerful righteous thoughts! Influenced by his powerful righteous thoughts, others came and asked for truth-clarification materials. We experience something like this almost daily. One day a group of Chinese tourists pretended to be Koreans. After I found out they were actually Chinese, I clarified the truth to them and they took copies of the Nine Commentaries. There is a practitioner who would be asked to help people quit the CCP whenever she came to the Service Center.

Shortly before the 2006 Gala, we distributed Gala flyers at noon and went to the Air and Space Museum from 2 to 5 p.m. One day close to 5:00 p.m., I saw four Chinese people standing on the stairs outside the museum. I approached them, tried to hand them the Nine Commentaries and clarified the truth to them, but none of them accepted anything. I returned to the sidewalk across from the museum. Shortly afterwards, I saw a group of Chinese people come out of the museum and join the four men. They pointed in my direction and said something. Next a young man left the group, ran towards me and made the respectful "heshi" gesture. I gave him the only truth-clarification copy I had left. I told him to pass it around. He promised to do so. He said thank you and left. As soon as he ran back to the stairs, he began to read the material until their bus came. I was very glad to see another predestined person obtaining Teacher’s salvation.

It was very cold on the day of the 2006 DC Gala. I didn’t dress warm enough because I dressed up to attend the opening night, but I still went to the Air and Space Museum with my banner and truth-clarification materials. I didn’t want to leave any sentient being behind. It was very cold, so there weren’t many Western or Chinese tourists. When a Chinese tour group came, I handed them the Nine Commentaries and clarified the truth. At other times, I sent forth righteous thoughts and memorized the Fa. Miraculously, I felt very warm. I realized that Teacher was reinforcing my righteous thoughts and encouraging me. Teacher looks after and watches over us at all time. As long as we walk our path righteously, Teacher and all righteous divine beings in the universe will help us. At 5:00 p.m. I put away the banner and said to myself, "Thank you, Teacher!"

There were still some tickets to be sold a week before the opening night of the DC Gala. At that Monday night’s group Fa study, coordinators encouraged everyone to sell the remaining tickets. The next morning, a practitioner and I went to a metro station to distribute Gala flyers. We kept distributing flyers until 6:00 p.m., so I didn’t go to the Air and Space Museum. That night I had a dream. In the dream I was carrying a bag on my shoulder. A group of people followed me and kept looking at me. "What are you looking at?" I asked them. They replied in unison, "We are reading the words." "What words?" "Words on your bag," they said. That was when I woke up from the dream. What words were they referring to? The banner—they must be referring to the words on the banner. The words on the banner are blessings to the world’s people. I didn’t go to the Museum yesterday to display the banner and distribute the Nine Commentaries. It was Teacher’s hint that I must not leave behind those predestined people from China who want to read the words on the banner. That afternoon I went to the Air and Space Museum again. As soon as I set up the banner, I looked up and saw a lot of Chinese tourists from different tour groups reading the banner. Some of them read loudly, "Heaven shall eliminate the CCP; Withdraw from the CCP for your safety," "Falun Dafa is good." Some took photographs of the banners. Some were taking the Nine Commentaries. The Service Center became very crowded. We distributed many copies of the book.

I believe Falun Gong banners are very powerful in both Heaven and the human realm. In Heaven banners can intimidate and eliminate evils. In the human realm, our banners have the same function. In addition, they will wake up people’s consciences. As long as the banners are there, people of the world passing by will read them. They can also disintegrate those evil elements that prevent people from understanding the truth. As long as a person looks at the banners, the obstacles that obstruct them from understanding the truth and those bad elements in their thoughts will be gone. As long as they read the banners, their consciences and kind thoughts will be restored. As long as they read the banners, they have an opportunity for Teacher’s salvation. After reading our banners, Westerners accept the Nine Commentaries in English and Chinese people accept it in Chinese. Often, there is only one practitioner at the Service Center. When there are a lot of Chinese tour groups, I cannot talk to all of them at the same time. Banners become a powerful way to deliver our truth-clarification messages. Jiang Zemin claims that no one in the world practices Falun Gong. When we raise the banners, people will be able to witness that Falun Gong practitioners throughout world are protesting their persecution, clarifying the truth about Falun Gong and saving sentient beings. Everywhere Chinese people will encounter Falun Gong practitioners. Isn’t a banner a great way to validate the Fa and destroy the rotten demons’ lies? When Chinese tourists take photographs of our banners, they will share the photos with their friends and families. They are living media.

I believe that tourist spots outside of China are cultivation environments that our compassionate and magnificent Teacher has created for us. In this environment, we will encounter all kind of human thoughts. Only when we cultivate ourselves well, will we be impervious to these human thoughts and pass these xinxing tests with a smile and without any anguish. That is the only way we won’t leave any predestined person behind. Please allow me to take this opportunity to thank every fellow practitioner who has been clarifying the truth at tourist spots around the world.

The first thing that every Chinese tour group saw from far away was our banner. When one tourist sees it, he will ask others to check it out. One day a lady walked up to me and said, "Do you have a copy of Nine Commentaries? I come from China. I cannot obtain any copies. I am really anxious." I told her I have many copies. She added, "Please give me one right away. I want other materials if you have any." Before she left, she said, "You have done a great job. You must persevere." One day as soon as I raised the banner, two men came to me and said, "We came from Kunming, Yunnan Province. We have been looking for the Nine Commentaries for a long time. Do you have any?" They took three copies and other truth-clarification materials. Their consciences are truly awakened. They are looking for "The Nine Commentaries." Teacher said,

As a matter of fact, it was Teacher that led these predestined people to our Service Center. We only waited for their arrival to hand them the truth clarification materials.

Persevere in righteous thoughts and the Fa will manifest its divine power. One day in mid-April, it rained before I even left home. Since I had to carry the materials to the Service Center, I needed to keep them dry because sentient beings were waiting for them. I sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate all evil elements, dark minions, rotten demons and the evil specter of the Communist Party that obstruct me from spreading this book. Meanwhile, I asked Teacher to reinforce my righteous thoughts and asked all the righteous divine beings to help stop the rain. Daytime is a good opportunity to validate the Fa, clarify the truth and save sentient beings. It must not rain during the day. The rain did stop within a short time. When I traveled on the bus or the metro, it rained again. But when I arrived at the Museum, the rain stopped again. The rain did not affect my distributing the Nine Commentaries at the Service Center at all!

At 5:00 p.m. I put away the banner and got ready to go home when dark clouds covered the sky and thunder rumbled. But it just wouldn’t rain. As soon as I got on the bus and the driver closed the door, it began to rain like cats and dogs. When I got of the bus, the rain stopped again. After I arrived at home, I went out again to go to the store to do some shopping. As soon as I walked out of the store, it began to pour. I thought to myself, "It is time for my daily Fa study. I must hurry back home." I started to send forth righteous thoughts to stop the rain and it stopped shortly. On my way home, I saw two rainbows across the sky. The rainbows seemed to follow me home. When I arrived home, I shouted out loud towards the sky, "Thank you, Teacher, for your reinforcement!" Five minutes after I returned home, it began to rain again. What happened that day was very encouraging. Teacher looks after and watches over us at all times. As long as we walk our path righteously, Teacher and all the righteous divine beings will help us. Teacher said,

For the Good of the World

Make clear the truth, and drive off foul spirits.

Spread widely the Nine Commentaries, and the wicked Party shall fade.

With righteous thoughts, save the world’s people.

I just don’t believe their consciences are irretrievably lost.
