(Clearwisdom.net) Just after learning that Master had taught the Fa in Washington DC, I was very excited in my heart. And I was envious of those fellow practitioners who were able to participate in the Fa conference. I also looked forward to seeing Masters Fa being published as soon as possible. After I had read Masters "Teaching the Fa at the Fa Conference at the U.S. Capital," my mind suddenly became clear and opened. I understood further that the cultivation path we are takinga great way without formis unprecedented, great without a match, and also extremely important. I realized even more Masters enormous compassion. How fortunate we are to be part of this great era, and to be cultivating and practicing within Dafa! We should cherish this great historical opportunity which has never happened!
Though having practiced for so long, I was really not aware of some issues related to my xinxing. Every time a new scripture of Master's was published, I would study it as something new and with the pursuit of curiosity to see whether or not there was something new about Fa-rectification in the universe, about the structure of the cosmos, and whether or not there were new teachings about the time of Fa-rectification's completion, and so on. In fact, I was reading the Fa with a human mind and attachments. How could I understand the Fa in this way? I did not understand what Master had taught no matter how many times I read it through. Thinking back, (I found that) the problem was really quite serious for me.
I now understand that each time while teaching the Fa, Master focuses on something. He targets commonly existing problems among Dafa disciples. In other words, he was talking to each of us, addressing our xinxing problems.
Regarding bad thoughts and behavior in cultivation practice, I used to have unclear understandings too. I had practiced for 10 years. Why did I still have such bad thoughts and behavior? At the time, I doubted many things about Dafa, and lacked righteous thoughts. Whether it was because of undermining from external factors or interference of bad notions, they would shake my determination to some degree. This was because I had not studied the Fa well, and was not clear about the principles of Fa. Master said:
"Actually, that's the wrong conclusion to draw, and it reflects a complete lack of understanding of the form that Dafa disciples' cultivation takes." ("Teaching the Fa at the Fa Conference at the U.S. Capital")
I had another problem. When encountering conflicts, I blamed others, not looking inside myself. Although this issue was addressed long ago in Zhuan Falun, and Master also emphasized the issue many times, I did not pay attention. When problems arose, I always looked for the reasons from others first, pushed the responsibility onto others, and found fault in others. I completely ignored and evaded my own faults. It can be said that on this issue I had not cultivated at all.
As Dafa disciples, we should look inside ourselves unconditionally. This is our precious opportunity, and also the requirement of validating Dafa and saving sentient beings. Master said:
"If you can conduct yourself in that manner with whatever you encounter, at a minimum you will find a way to resolve the problem. Otherwise how could you resolve it? When a person charges forward and is contentious, the more he wants to resolve it, the less he is able to. In that scenario you still haven't in fact let go of that attachment and you are pushing your way to the front, and you insist on figuring out who's right and who's wrong; even though you've made mistakes, you insist on figuring out others' mistakes. When that's the approach, you won't be able to resolve the problem." ("Teaching the Fa at the Fa Conference at the U.S. Capital")
After I studied Masters "Teaching the Fa at the Fa Conference at the U.S. Capital," what I understand the most is that we should clearly remember the power of "looking inside unconditionally." I would like to share this with fellow practitioners.
