They confiscated several items from Wang Cuiping's home: a 29-inch TV, a VCD player, a CD-burner, several Dafa books, and some truth-clarifying materials and VCDs. Afterwards, they climbed over the wall of practitioner Mr. Wang Yunchong's yard. He is the son of Wang Fengting. They took away a TV, a VCD player, a recorder, several Dafa books, two MP3 players and some blank CDs, in the absence of any of Wang’s family members.

Practitioner Mr. Meng Fanquan, 45 years old, is a teacher at the Hebei Polytechnic University's College of Light Industry. He started to practice Falun Gong in 1994 and benefited physically and mentally, but has been persecuted many times since July 20, 1999.
Personnel from the Lubei Police Station arrested him from his place of work on April 18, 2006 and ransacked his home. They took away some Dafa books and some personal belongs worth nearly 10,000 yuan. Meng Fanquan is presently being held at the Fengrun District Detention Center.

8. [Zhangqiu City, Shandong Province] Information Regarding the Persecution of Practitioner Lu Shoulu
Practitioner Mr. Lu Shoulu from Zhangqiu City was arrested at home on May 11, 2006. Police confiscated his CD-RW machine (valued at around 4,000 yuan), 1,180 blank CDs (worth around 1,200 yuan) and three book binding machines.
9. [Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province] Practitioner Zeng Qing Sentenced
Practitioner Ms. Zeng Qing from the Doumen District has been imprisoned and tortured for a long time. She had consistently refused to cooperate with illegal orders. Zeng Qing was released in November 2005 from the Guangdong Province Women’s Prison. Two months later, personnel from the National Security Team in the Doumen District 610 Office again arrested her. It happened on her way to do grocery shopping on February 20, 2006. They put her into Zhuhai City’s No. 3 Detention Center without going through any legal procedures. Recently, personnel from the Doumen District Court secretly sentenced Zeng Qing to three years of imprisonment while providing no evidence or facts. Zeng Qing has appealed to a higher court from the detention center.

Practitioner Ms. Du Jun from the Zhangdian District is a laid-off employee of Zibo City's No. 2 Radio Factory. Someone reported her to police, saying she had distributed Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials. At 6:00 a.m. on July 28, 2006, personnel from the Zibo City National Security Team arrested her at home and ransacked her place. They found a copy of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, some amulets and truth-clarifying cards. They also confiscated her computer. At present, Du Jun is being held at the Fujia Detention Center.

There are more than 20 practitioners being held at the No. 9 Brigade, the Shayang Forced Labor Camp. The most severely tortured practitioner is Mr. Kong Xiangsheng from Xiangfan City. He is in his 50’s and has a disabled foot. He is being isolated and is verbally abused from time to time. He used to be very tall and strong. He is now extremely emaciated.
16. [Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province] Practitioner Tang Cunxin Persecuted at the Jinzhong Prison after Being Arrested in 2003
Practitioner Mr. Tang Cunxin was born in 1964. Police authorities arrested him at the Coal-Quality Section of the Ximing Coal Mine in Taiyuan City in 2003. They confiscated truth-clarifying CDs and about 10,000 yuan cash from his locker room. Tang Cunxin had been held at the Jinci Forced Labor Camp in Taiyuan for a year. He is presently being held at the Jinzhong Prison in Shanxi Province. One time, policemen and criminals in the prison brutally beat him to the point that he was severely injured, and thus he was put into a hospital for three months.

Practitioner Ms. Meng Zhihua, 56 years old, lives at Building 32, Apt# 304, in the dormitory of the Aluminum Factory, the Jiangnan District, Nanning City. She was arrested at home for distributing truth-clarification materials. Responsible for the arrest are personnel from 610 Office and Police Department in the Jiangnan District. The team was led by Wei Caisong, who seized her at 9:00 a.m. on February 22, 2006. Policemen made a huge mess while ransacking the room until 1:00 p.m. Meng is being held at Room A-14 in the No.1 Detention Center of Nanning City.
18. [Maoming City, Guangdong Province] Several Practitioners Sentenced at the Maoming Court
Since July 20, 1999, the Maoming City Court has persecuted many Falun Gong practitioners. This caused many families to be torn apart.
Practitioner Ms. Li Fengdi, a retired employee of the Power Plant of the city, was sentenced to ten years of imprisonment at the court for practicing Falun Gong and having truth-clarifying materials in her possession. Ms. Li refused to accept the verdict and appealed twice, but both attempts were rejected.
In the meantime, practitioner Mr. Li Qiaosong from Guangzhou City was arrested in April 2006 and is being held at the No.1 Detention Center in Maoming City. He is facing unlawful sentencing, as is practitioner Ms. Liang Jinchun.

20. [Beijing] Bai Shan and His Wife Liu Kejie Have Been Held for Over A Year, Since July 2005
Practitioner Mr. Bai Shan, an employee of Beijing Bio-Products Research Institute at Sanjianfang in the Chaoyang District, Beijing, was arrested from home. Personnel from the Yangzha Police Station conducted the arrest on July 16, 2005. They sentenced the practitioner to two years of forced labor after a month of incarceration at the district's Police Department Detention Center. He was eventually transferred to the Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp in Daxing County.
Personnel from the Xicheng District Police Department arrested Mr. Bai's wife, practitioner Ms. Liu Kejie, from her home, put her into the Xicheng District Detention Center, and then sentenced her to two years of forced labor. She is presently being held at the Daxing County Women's Forced Labor Camp.

21. [Wafangdian City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Xu Zhongqiang Persecuted Again
Practitioner Mr. Xu Zhongqiang from the Delisi District, Wafangdian City, Liaoning Province, has been arrested over sixty times. One day in late July 2006, five policemen from the Delisi District climbed over the wall of Mr. Xu's yard and broke into his home. They intended to arrest him, but, although handcuffed, Mr. Xu successfully escaped.
22. [Beijing] Cui Ruyi and Four Other Practitioners Arrested
About six officers arrested several practitioners. These officers included Zhang Peihua, the Yukou Township Police Station chief, and Wang Xiaohua, the Pinggu District 610 Office chief. They arrested practitioners Mr. Cui Ruyi, Ms. Zhang Chunhong, Ms. Liu Guifen and Mr. Chen Youwen from Yukou Township, Pinggu District at their homes around 9:30 a.m. on July 20, 2006.
At 9:00 a.m. on August 3, 2006, practitioner Mr. Mao Zhenjiang from Duoyukou Township was arrested at his home in Pinggu City.
23. [Hubei Province] Practitioner Min Changchun Chooses to Live a Homeless Life to Avoid Persecution
Practitioner Mr. Min Changchun was sentenced to four years of imprisonment and released on July 31, 2006. The second day after his release, personnel from the Zhongxiang City 610 Office went to his home and intended to arrest him again and take him to a brainwashing class. Mr. Min successfully escaped, but he leads a homeless life to escape further persecution. His whereabouts are unknown.

Some officers headed by Xiang Luogen and Fang Daguo, a police station chief, ransacked the home of Ms. Jiang Xianyan, a practitioner from Wukou Town. They arrested Ms. Jiang. They confiscated a laptop computer worth 8,000 yuan and a printer. Furthermore, Fang Daguo found and took away over 13,000 yuan cash and a deposit certificate for 60,000 yuan.

25. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Information Regarding the Persecution of Jiang Huiqin
Practitioner Ms. Jiang Huiqin, 40 years old, is an English teacher of the Developing District Professional Middle School in Dalian City. Some student's parents reported her to the police for clarifying the truth to her students. Personnel from the 610 Office and from the police department in the Developing District and agents from the Wangli Township Police Department arrested her at school on May 18, 2005. They sent her to the Yaojia Detention Center in Dalian City. She was sentenced to two years of forced labor in the middle of June and sent to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. She is still being held there, at the No.3 Brigade, No.2 Division.

26. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Persecution of Six Practitioners at the Wanli Police Station
Personnel from the Wanli Police Station in Dalian City arrested six practitioners on August 2, 2006. It is known that four of them are being held at the Yaojia Detention Center. Practitioner Ms. Sun Guifen, 58 years old, was arrested. The officials sent her to the Hexi Detention Center because she was posting materials for rescuing fellow practitioner Tian Xin. It happened around 9:00 p.m. on August 3, 2006.

Several evildoers broke into Ms. Li Cuilan's home and arrested her. The officials are leading persecutor Wang Kuan, an official from Xiguan Village, Qian'an Town, Qian'an City, and four officers from the National Security Team in Qian'an City and the Chengguan Police Department.
Six practitioners have been arrested between August 1 and 4, 2006.

Practitioner Mr. Qiu Yang, about 40 years old, is an employee of the Baiyin City Mining and Metallurgy Institute. The police arrested him on July 22, 2006.

Practitioner Ms. Li Aiying, 50 years old, is from Yuanzhuang Village, Zhulu County. She went to Beijing to appeal on behalf of Falun Dafa but the police arrested her on July 27, 2006. On July 28, Hu Xiufeng, the associate secretary of Yuanzhuang Village and Women's Association, led several 610 Office policemen from Zhulu County and broke into Li Aiying’s house to search. They confiscated some Dafa books and forced her family to pay them 10,000 yuan. Her family refused because they did not have the money. Ms. Li Aiying was transported back to Zhulu County on July 29, 2006 and is being held at the county’s detention center.

32. [Luzhou City, Sichuan Province] Gao Xianying and Several Other Practitioners Arrested
Several practitioners went to the Fangshan Traveling Area in the Jiangyang District, Luzhou City on April 2, 2006. They are: Ms. Gao Xianying, Ms. Du Bihua, Ms. Tan Shulian as well as non-practitioner Yang Hongmei. They hung truth-clarifying banners on trees, but some villagers reported them. Ms. Yang had often gone out with the others to clarify the truth. Agents from the Jiangyang District Police Department arrested Gao Xianying, Du Bihua and even non-practitioner Yang Hongmei and placed them under criminal detention. Tan Shulian was also arrested later, on June 21, 2006, the same day Jiangyang District Procuratorate Department officials sued her. Her case documents were sent to the Jiangyang District Court on July 24.
Gao Xianying and Du Bihua are being detained at the Luzhou City Detention Center; Tan Shulian is being held at Lu County Detention Center. Yang Hongmei is awaiting trial at home.

33. [Linyi City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Song Yuying Arrested
Ms. Song Yuying, 65 years old, is from Shijia Bailongwang Village, Shizilu Town, Junan County. As Song Yuying was cooking at 6:00 a.m. on July 23, 2006, two lawless policemen from Lünan County broke into her house and forcibly took her away. They detained her for two hours and sent her later to the Junan County Detention Center for further persecution. Song Yuying is still being held at the detention center. Her family is forbidden to see her.
