1. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Dafa Practitioner Wang Bo and Family Missing
Mr. Wang Bo and his family were arrested by police from Shijiazhuang and Dalian at their residence in Dalian. They were taken back to Shijiazhuang and are now missing.
Wang's father, Wang Xinzhong, is an employee of the railroad in Shijiazhuang. Because he refused to give up the practice and actively clarified the truth about the persecution, he was arrested and beaten several times, and had been sent to a labor camp. Wang's mother, Ms. Liu Shuqin, was frequently harassed by police from Hedong Police Station after her release from the labor camp. Since the pressure from the persecution forced her to leave home, the police from Chang'An Police Bureau and Hedong Police Station are actively looking for her.

2. [Jilin Province] Dafa Practitioner Mu Chunmei and Others Detained at Masanjia Labor Camp
Dafa practitioners Liu Mingwei (male), Mu Chunmei (female) and Hao Yuefeng (male) from Jilin City were arrested in March 2006 in Dalian and are illegally detained at Masanjia Labor Camp in Shenyang. Ms. Mu and Mr. Liu have refused to cooperate at the brainwashing sessions at the labor camp and have been tortured both mentally and physically. Their family members have come to Masanjia several times but their requests to see Mu Chunmei and Liu Mingwei were unreasonably denied.
3. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Dafa Practitioner Li Wenhua Detained
Dafa practitioner Zheng Fengxiang (male) from Jiangnan in Jilin City and his family were at home when the police came and forcefully took them away at about 10 p.m. on July 14, 2006. Their child was released the next day. Mr. Zheng has also returned home. His wife, Ms. Li Wenhua, has been sent to the Seventh Team of Heizuizi Labor Camp in Changchun. Because she refused to compromise her faith, she was forced to wear a red sign and was closely monitored.
4. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Dafa Practitioner Liu Hongxia Detained
Ms. Liu Hongxia, a Dafa practitioner from Jilin City, was arrested on July 14, 2006 at the Xinyu Cultural Products store in the Household Product Wholesale Market at Eleventh Middle School of Jilin City by over 20 policemen from Shanqian Police Station, Lianhua Police Station and Changyi Police Station. Ms. Liu is currently still detained.
5. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Dafa practitioner Zhu Jiang, an employee of the 601 Institute in Shenyang, has been illegally detained since June at the municipal detention center.
6. [Baishan City, Jilin Province] Update on Dafa Practitioner Wang Zhihua's Arrest
On July 3, Ms. Wang Zhihua, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Shiren Township, Baishan City, Jilin Province, and her daughter Qiu Xiaoling were arrested. Their home was raided without any legal papers. All of their Dafa-related books, truth-clarification materials, and a brand-new printer (valued over 1,000 yuan) were taken away. After 19 days of detention, Qiu Xiaoling was released after 6,000 yuan was paid on her behalf [by her family]. Ms. Wang Zhihua is still detained at the Baishan Municipal Detention Center.

7. [Shenzhou, Hebei Province] Dafa Disciple Du Xiaoju Arrested
Dafa disciple Du Xiaoju (female, over 40 years old) from Langli Village, Yuke Township, Shenzhou City, took her young daughter Meng Jiaojiao to the town fair in Yuke. Along the way, she posted on the wall and distributed truth-clarification materials about the persecution. She was reported by villagers from Nanyulin Village who did not know the truth. Ms. Du and her daughter were forcefully taken by police from the Yuke Township Police Station to the municipal police bureau. Ms. Du was so brutally beaten that her face was disfigured. She was then sent to the municipal detention center. Because her daughter was still in elementary school, the daughter was freed after the police extorted 3,000 yuan from the family.

8 [Helongjiang] Tie Zhijie Persecuted and Harassed by Daqing City Police; Currently Missing
At the end of January 2006, police from Chengfeng Police Station of Daqing City went to Mr. Tie Zhijie's workplace and home to harass him.
At about 9 a.m. on July 25, 2006, four policemen from Chengfeng Police Station of Daqing City suddenly went to Tie Zhijie's workplace and arrested him. They first searched his office and then raided his home. Tie Zhijie's laptop computer, two external hard drives, and Dafa books were taken. At about 1:40 p.m., Tie Zhijie fled the police station. His whereabouts are unknown.

9. [Chifeng, Inner Mongolia] Dafa Practitioner Cong Peilan Forced to Become Homeless
At about 10 p.m. on July 19, five plainclothes police officers from the State Security Team of Chifeng City, Yuanbaoshan District, and Pingjuxilutian Police Station climbed over the walls and broke into Ms. Cong Peilan's home, while some other policemen were knocking on the doors loudly. They were there to arrest her. Their plans failed because Ms. Cong was not home. Now Ms. Cong is forced be homeless. She could not visit her mother, who is over 70 years old and hospitalized. Her teenage child also yearns for her safe return.
10. [Harbin, Heilongjiang Province] Wang Yanfen from Nangang Farm and Another Dafa Practitioner Arrested
On August 2, Ms. Wang Yanfen and another Falun Gong practitioner were making truth-clarification materials at Nangang Farm in Daoli District, Harbin, when they were heard by some people inside a house. The people stepped out, seized Wang Yanfen, and called the police. Another Dafa practitioner was able to escape.
On August 5, Mr. Wang Yuanhe was at work when the police arrested him and raided his home. The police also took away some truth-clarification CD-ROMs and Dafa books.
11. [Binzhou, Shandong Province] Supplemental Information about the Persecution of Dafa Practitioners Sun Xiangdong and Chen Guangxia
Mr. Sun Xiangdong and his wife Chen Guangxia, Falun Dafa practitioners from Binzhou District, Binzhou City, were captured by a video monitor when they were distributing truth-clarification materials. They were then arrested by security guards. Shortly after, Cao Letang, the head of the District 610 Office, led two people to raid Sun Xiangdong and Chen Guangxia's home. Mr. Sun and his wife were taken to Pengli in Binzhou District for interrogation. When Mr. Sun's father went to the Pengli Police Station to bring clothes for them, he was rejected. Now the two of them are still being held at the detention center.
There are still nearly 20 Falun Gong practitioners from Binzhou District currently detained at labor camps, prisons, and detention centers.

13. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Dafa Practitioner Sun Fengqin and Others Arrested
At about 11 a.m. On August 5, 2006, Dafa practitioners Sun Fengqin (female) and Cao Yanchun were reported on while distributing truth-clarification materials in rural areas in Laishan District. They were arrested and taken to Fushan District Detention Center of Yantai City.

14. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Dafa Disciple Sun Shouling Arrested
Ms. Sun Shouling, a practitioner from Xixue Village, Tushan Township, Laizhou City, was arrested by village patrol officers on the evening of August 6 when she was posting truth-clarification materials in Tanjia Village. She has been detained at the Tushan Police Station.

15. [Beijing] Dafa Practitioner Dong Shuzhen Sent to a Forced Labor Camp
Ms. Dong Shuzhen, approximately 40 years old, is from Xiaodiantun Village, Yongledian Township in Tong County. At the end of January of the lunar calendar in 2006, someone reported to the village government that Dong Shuzhen was practicing Falun Gong exercises. Zhang Ruicang, director of security of the village, policeman Liu Yang, and a few other police broke into Dong Shuzhen's home when she was not there and raided the place. They later arrested her and sent her to two years of forced labor at the Beijing Daxing Women's Labor Camp.
Dong Shuzhen's family members visited her recently and saw that she was emaciated. Many diseases that went away after she practiced Falun Gong have returned. She suffers especially from cholecystitis, which causes her severe pain every day. Her family has requested that she be released on medical parole.
