1. [Liaoyuan City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Xiang Lijie Tortured to the Point of Vomiting Blood

Practitioner Ms. Xiang Lijie is currently on a hunger strike in the Liaoyuan City Detention Center. She is being tortured through force-feeding, being tied to a death bed, being forced to sit on an iron chair, etc. She was tortured until she was vomiting blood.

There are eight Falun Dafa practitioners detained in Liaoyuan City Detention Center, including Mr. Liu Xingquan, Ms. Zhang Shunhong, Mr. Zhao Lianli, Mr. Luan Aijun, Mr. Zhao Yan, Ms. Liu Xiangzhuo, Ms. Lu Chunyun, and Ms. Xiang Lijie.

There are four or five practitioners detained in Dongfeng Detention Center, including Ms. Wang Xiangren.

2. [Linyi City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yang Lifen Tortured by 610 Office Agents

In October 2004, practitioners in Linyi City Ms. Yang Lifen from the Lanshan District, Ms. Sun Qinghong from the Hedong District, and Mr. Liu Nailun from Mengyin County were arrested when clarifying the truth in the Hedong District. Led by the Linyi City 610 Office head Chen Changde (newly assigned), guards have been cruelly torturing these three practitioners. They were first whipped with leather belts in the Linyi City Detention Center. In order to hide the crimes, Chen Changde had these three practitioners detained in an underground war shelter inside the city government office compound, where they were inhumanly tortured. Ms. Yang Lifen and Ms. Sun Qinghong were both tortured to near death. It is said that one of Ms. Yang's kidneys sustained injury from the beating. All three practitioners were sentenced to three years of forced labor.

3. [Shanghai City] Young Teacher Ms. Li Qian Sentenced to Forced Labor

Practitioner Ms. Li Qian, in her 30s, is a teacher employed by the Shanghai City Business and Commercial Foreign Language School. On August 6, 2006, she was followed and arrested when passing out truth-clarifying VCDs, and her home was ransacked. The police took her computer and Falun Dafa books. She was detained for one month in the Xuhui District Detention Center and later sent to the Qingpu Labor Camp for a one-year term. Her family members are not allowed to see her.

4. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Mr. Song Laiqiao Died as a Result of Persecution

Practitioner Mr. Song Laiqiao, 69, lived in Xian Village, Longquan Town, Moping District, Yantai City. He established a group practice site in his home in 2004. The Women's Association and 610 officers kept harassing him at his home, and he died as a result on May 5, 2006.

Several days ago, provincial officials held a brainwashing session in Helong City. Falun Dafa practitioners Ms. Sui Xiuxian and others are confirmed to have been arrested on the evening of September 14, 2006, and forced to attend the session.

At around 10:30 a.m. on September 8, 2006, policemen from Rizhuang Town Station Yu Deming and Zhang Luning led five officers to storm into practitioner Mr. Zhang Naifu's home in Daishu Village, Ruzhuang Town, ransack the place, take photos, and arrest Mr. Zhang. They confiscated his family possessions.

7. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Additional Information Regarding the Arrest of Mr. Li Xiaoxian and His Wife

At around 10:00 a.m. on September 11, 2006, policemen from the Guye District Department in Tangshan City and Nanfangezhuang Station stormed into the home of practitioners Mr. Li Xiaoxian and his wife, Ms. Wang Cuizhen. They took their TV, computer, motorcycles, cash, etc., and arrested both of them. Ms. Wang is detained in the Luan County Detention Center, and Mr. Li is detained at the Xinfan Police Station, which is under the Nanfangezhuang Department.

8. [Baoqing County, Heilongjiang Province] Many Falun Dafa Practitioners Arrested

Provincial 610 Office agents went to Baoqing County and led the County 610 officers and State Security Agents to arrest practitioners. On September 6, 2006, practitioners Mr. Zhang Zhaohua and his wife, Ms. Yuan Meirong, from Xiaochengzi Town were arrested. On the same day, practitioners Ms. Shao Guilan and Ms. Liu and Ms. Liu's husband (not a practitioner) were arrested.

9. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Ms. Jiang Fuxiang Arrested

Practitioner Ms. Jiang Fuxiang, around 56 years old, lives on Xifenhuayuan Street in Chengjian Neighborhood, Mingshan District, Benxi City. On September 14, 2006, she was reported when clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa and subsequently arrested by policemen from Caitun Station. At around 6:00 p.m., the officers from Caitun Station were led by officers from Xifen to ransack Ms. Jiang's home and confiscate her son's notebook computer and their family's possessions.

On the morning of September 15, 2006, Security Officer Wang Fuli of the Sanjiang Machinery Factory in Yibin City led several Yibin City State Security Agents to practitioner Ms. Jin Sufang's home and arrested her. Later, they went to another practitioner's home but this practitioner and the family members resisted the attempted arrest with righteous thoughts. The authorities went to a third practitioner's home but were unsuccessful again. They threatened this third practitioner's daughter by saying that they would contact her employer and have her fired.

In August 2006, the Lanshan District 610 Office in Linyi City compiled a booklet that slanders Falun Dafa called: "Collection of Jinhu Lecturing Materials for Lanshan District."

12. [Linyi City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Caiyun Detained

Practitioner Ms. Zhang Caiyun, in her 60s, lives in Jiuqu Village, Hedong District, Linyi City. On September 8, 2006, she was reported by Xibeifangwu Village CCP Secretary Zhuge Xiangjie, male, when passing out truth-clarifying materials in Zhengwang Town. She was arrested and is now detained in the Linyi City Detention Center.

13. [Hegang City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Shi Chengjie Arrested and Injured

On September 10, 2006, practitioner Mr. Shi Chengjie was reported when posting notices to clarify the truth. He was arrested by policemen from the Hongqi Street Station in the Gongnong District. Because he refused to give his name, Mr. Shi was brutally beaten by more than ten policemen including the station head and officer Wang (male) from the Gongnong District Police Department. They were too tired to continue beating him, so they took a break and left one policeman watching him. In order to escape, Mr. Shi jumped from the second floor, fracturing his hip. He was dragged back after crawling away more than 70 feet. The police continued to beat him despite his injury and he passed out. They sent him to the hospital and wrote "name unknown" on his check-in record. Later, one policeman from the District recognized him, found his wife, and left the injured Mr. Shi with his wife.

14. [Jinzhou City, Hubei Province] Practitioner Mr. Zhao Kunli Arrested and Taken to Hubei Province Brainwashing Session

15. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Two Falun Dafa Practitioners Arrested

Practitioner Ms. Bai Ying from Zhengzhou City, Henan Province, was arrested at home and her home was ransacked. Two vehicles full of policemen took away a great deal of Falun Dafa materials. Ms. Bai Ying is now detained in the Zhengzhou City Fourth Detention Center. The guards will not allow her family to visit her or send any daily necessities or clothes.

Practitioner Su (first name and gender unknown) from Zhongyuan District went out to post truth-clarifying notices on the night of September 5, 2006, and never returned home. Su's family members have found out that practitioner Su is now detained in the Zhongyuan District Detention Center.

16. [Huangshi City, Hubei Province] Ms. Zhou Xianchang Tortured

At 11:00 p.m. on August 27, 2006, practitioner Ms. Zhou Xianchang (a medical doctor) was arrested by policemen from the Chengyue Station and sent to the Xizhaishan District 610 Office. Around noon on August 28, 2006, she was escorted back home to take a shower. On the morning of August 30, 2006, she was bailed out on medical parole.

19. [Zhaodong City, Heilongjiang Province] Older Practitioner Mr. Cai Lainsheng Arrested

On September 11, 2006, older practitioner Mr. Cai Liansheng met a policeman from the Heju Township Station in Zhaodong City on the road. That policeman was coming back from Laozhou Town but insisted on searching Mr. Cai's satchel. Inside he found some truth-clarifying materials. He arrested Mr. Cai and sent him to the Zhaodong City Detention Center.

20. [Anyang City, Henan Province] Mr. Zhao Baosen Arrested

Practitioner Mr. Zhao Baosen, 62, is a retired employee of the Anyang City Steel Company. At around 9:00 p.m., on August 22, 2006, he was arrested when posting truth-clarifying materials at the Sanjiazhuang Market by policemen from the Longan District Department. He is now detained in the Anyang City Detention Center. On the morning of August 23, 2006, a group of policemen stormed into Mr. Zhao Baosen's home, ransacked it without any legal procedures, and took his TV and VCD player.

21. [Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Bao Deyou Arrested

Practitioner Mr. Bao Deyou is an employee of the Third Division of Erdaohezi Mine in Jixi City. At 5:00 p.m., on September 7, 2006, he was arrested at work because he was telling people to withdraw from the CCP and its related organizations. He is now detained in the Jixi City First Detention Center.

22. [You County, Hunan Province] Mr. Chen Xinkai and Ms. Chen Yulan Arrested

Several days ago, practitioners Mr. Chen Xinkai and Ms. Chen Yulan were arrested by policemen from the You County Department. They are now detained in the County Detention Center.

Mr. Chen Xinkai, 35, lives in Huangfengqiao Town, You County, and was previously sent to a forced labor camp. Ms. Chen Yulan, around 38 years old, lives in Chengguan Town, You County. Policemen ransacked both of their homes and took their computers, etc., and arrested Ms. Chen Yulan's husband and son. Later, Ms. Chen Yulan's husband's employer--the Mingyang School--went to secure the release of her husband and son.

23. [Jimo City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Shao Arrested

After practitioner Mr. Li Ganlin, a teacher employed by Longquan Middle School, was arrested by the Jimo City 610 Officers and sent to a forced labor camp on June 21, 2006. Officers arrested and ransacked the home of another Longquan Middle School teacher, Shao (first name and gender unknown), on the evening of September 13, 2006.

24. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Yuzhu Secretly Transferred

On September 15, 2006, practitioner Ms. Wang Yuzhu's older sister went to Yingbin Police Station to request her release. The station head Liu Yuliang was very rude and said that they had sent Ms. Wang away but refused to reveal her whereabouts.
