2. [Hebei Province] Ms. Liu Xiaorong on Hunger Strike for 11 Months and in Critical Condition
Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Xiaorong is detained in the Hebei Province Women Prison. She absolutely refuses to acknowledge the persecution, and she demands to be released unconditionally. She has been on hunger strike for 11 months, and she weighs only 60 pounds. She is very weak, and her life is in danger.

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Yu Zhenjie was mistreated by police officers twice, and she is now dying. She appeared to be paralyzed and had heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, and was coughing up blood. Many hospitals refused to accept her, and the police had to send her home. On May 26, 2006, the family visitation day in the Banqiao Women Labor Camp, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Ping's family was not allowed to visit her. The Third Ward head said that no one wanted to carry her out. Her family brought some milk for her, but the Camp Administration forced them to buy another case of more expensive milk from the Camp Store, and they took the family's milk home for themselves.
Ms. Li Ping is very weak, cannot take care of herself, and her eyesight is rapidly deteriorating so she cannot open her eyes. Due to lack of blood, her heart muscle caused her heart to beat too fast, so she cannot walk. She is as thin as a skeleton. The guards refuse to have her treated, and said that the 1500 yuan that her family paid has been spent.

Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Lu Xianming lives in Liwan District, Guangzhou City. He is now detained in the Guangdong Province Police Hospital, and he is forced to take intravenous injections. Guards do not allow his family to visit him.
7. [Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province] Mr. Pan Junzhu Arrested by 610 Office Agents
Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Pan Junzhu from Panjia Village, Xinzhuang Town, Zhaoyuan City is a employee of the Zhaoyuan City Quartz Factory. On May 22, 2006, the 610 Office agents came to talk with Mr. Pan in his workplace. Mr Pan said, "It is absolutely not wrong to be good person according to Truth-Benevolence-Forbearance." The 610 Office agents wanted to continue talking with him in the afternoon, but he refused. At around 8:30 a.m. on May 24, 2006, Mr. Pan was arrested taken away from his workplace. His whereabouts are unknown.
8. [Tianjin City] Brainwashing Intensified in Gangbei Prison
The guards in the First Section, Fifth Ward, Gangbei Prison have recently tortured solid Falun Dafa practitioners by locking them in the small cell (1), and using several monitors for each practitioner. Practitioners are forced to do labor in a very hot workshop and arrange nails with glue from 6 a.m., to 6 p.m.. They only have 30 minute breaks every day, but they have to join the brainwashing session every evening from 7:00-7:30. Practitioners' living conditions and food are very bad, and there are more than one dozen practitioners squeezed into one small cell. Their family visitation is under close monitoring; the monitors are watching, and the guards are patrolling.

(1) Small Cell: The detainee is locked up in a very small cell individually. The guards handcuff practitioners behind their backs in a fixed position, in which the practitioners can neither move nor lie down. The small cell is very damp and no sunshine comes in. Detainees have to urinate and defecate in the cell. Only half of a regular meal is served to detainees locked up in a small cell during the daytime. During the night the rats scurry about. The stench in the small cell is so bad that it is difficult to breathe.
9. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Song Ping and Others Arrested
After the Zhuanghe City TV Station (under Dalian City) had broadcast programs that slandered Falun Dafa and Master Li, on December 24, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioners went to Xianrendong Town to pass out truth-clarifying materials. Ms. Song Ping and another female practitioner were arrested, and both were sent to Zhuanghe City Detention Center on December 25, 2006. The center notified Ms. Song Ping's family to send clothes and money to the center on the afternoon of the same day.
On the evening of December 25, 2006, practitioner Mr. Wang Zhongkuan was also arrested after he rode his motorcycle home from the arrested female practitioner's home. His home was ransacked. His Falun Dafa books, cell phone, and address book were all taken away.

10. [Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Geng Guirong Arrested
At around 4 p.m. on December 18, 2006, policemen Dou Tongxiang and ten more from Molenghe Station in West District, accompanied with the Panzhihua City Mining Bureau Head stormed into the homes of Falun Dafa practitioners (all women who were over 60 years old) Ms. Geng Guirong, Ms. Wang (first name unknown), Ms. Teng Changfang, Ms. Zhou Shutang, and Ms. Zhang Guixia, ransacked their homes, handcuffed these women, and took them away. They are still detained now.

11. [Yuzhou City, Henan Province] Three Materials Centers Destroyed, Six Practitioners Arrested
At around 8:00 p.m. on November 24, 2006, three Falun Dafa materials centers were destroyed and six practitioners were arrested. They are Ms. Zhu Gailing, Mr. Zhang Yinzhou, Mr. Zhu Xianquan, Mr. Zhao Zhongpu, Ms. Chunhua (last name unknown), and Mr. and Mrs. Jin Gang. All equipment and supplies were taken away.

At around 11:00 a.m. on December 27, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Li Jizhong was arrested when clarifying the truth to people near Huiquan Elementary School gates. On the same day, practitioner Ms. Li Jueying was also arrested when clarifying the truth to people at Shuangshanbaiquan Market.
13. [Pingdu City, Shandong Province] Ms. Ma Meijuan Arrested
On December 25, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Ma Meijuan from the Xiangdian Neighborhood Administration in the Xiangdian Development Zone was arrested by policemen from the Malan Town Station when clarifying the truth. She has been taken to the Pingdu City Detention Center
14. [Beijing City] Mr. Wang Wenkai and His Wife Hu Yiwu Arrested
On September 11, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Wang Wenkai (37) and his wife practitioner Hu Yiwu (36) were both arrested in Ms. Hu's parents' home located in the outer Deshengmen Area, Xicheng District. Policemen ransacked their home twice.
Mr. Wang Wenkai used to work in the Xicheng Police Department. He was dismissed from his job after the "April 25" appeal because he firmly cultivated Falun Dafa. He had been living away from home to avoid being arrested and doing hard labor work to support the family. He has been missing since he was arrested on September 11, 2006. His wife is currently detained in the Daxing District Labor Camp.
Their seven year-old daughter is now living with Mr. Wang Wenkai's father who is suffering the after effects of a stroke.
15. [Chongqing City] Ms. He Hongmei Arrested
On December 27, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. He Hongmei, an employee of Yunji Town Hospital in Changshou District, was arrested from her workplace, and she has been taken to the Changshou District Detention Center.
16. [Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province] Mr. Lu Jianyou's Home Ransacked
At 11:00 a.m. on December 27, 2006, Zhuozhou City State Security Agents Ye Jun (male) and Yang Yugang (male) ransacked Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Lu Jianyou's home located in Han Village, Songlindian Town. They took away one Canon 4200 Printer and one DVD burner.
17. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhang Shuqing and Ms. Sun Fengzhi Arrested
Around December 15-16, 2006, policemen arrested Falun Dafa practitioners Ms. Zhang Shuqing and Ms. Sun Fengzhi, both from Xinxing Farm, Dawa County, when they were passing out truth clarifying materials. One of them escaped on the spot but was later arrested at home. Their Falun Dafa materials were all taken away.
18. [Zhucheng City, Shandong Province] Mr. Wang Famao in Prison for More Than Four Years
Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Wang Famao was arrested in 2002 by policemen from the Jiaonan Development Zone, and he was sentenced to five years in prison. He has been in the Weibei Prison (North of Weifang City) since September 2002, which is more than four years ago.

22. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Senior Practitioner Sentenced to One Year of Forced Labor
Policemen from Nanhuxin Village Station saw some truth clarifying materials on the bed of an elderly Falun Dafa practitioner, forced him to fill in a form in the station, and then had him sentenced to one year of forced labor a few days later.

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Sun Jinxia lives in the Qianweigou Area, Chaoyang District. She was arrested in her workplace on December 24, 2006, and she is now being held in the Chaoyang District Police Department. Her husband Li Wanqing is also a practitioner, and he is currently detained in Tuanhe Labor Camp. Their high school-aged daughter has left home alone.

24. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Yang Min Arrested
On the afternoon of December 9, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Yang Min was arrested by guard Peng Li (female) from the Qiqihar City First Detention Center when visiting a fellow practitioner in the Hepingchang Hospital. Longhua Street Police Station Head Sun Ge (male) and others interrogated her overnight, and they did not allow her to sleep or use the toilet.
On December 10, 2007, Sun Ge led a group of policemen and stormed into Ms. Yang Min's house, ransacked the place, and even ransacked her relatives' home without showing any ID or warrants. They took away a computer, printer, electronic books, two MP3 players, and many Falun Dafa books, and in total they cost more than ten thousand yuan. The police even arrested her mother, younger sister, and brother-in-law and had beaten and kicked them. Her relatives were released after the police extorted more than two thousand yuan from them.

25. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Ms. Fu Yafeng Forced to Leave Home
At 8:00 p.m. on December 25, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Fu Yafeng was a putting up a Dafa sign near Zhaozhuang Village, Shimenzhai Town, Funing County. Policemen Wang Lizhu and Wang Yong from Shimenzhai Station found her, and tried to take her onto their vehicle, but they failed. They called the CCP Director Zhang Yinguo (male) of the station, who came with another policeman, Feng (first name unknown), and they forcefully took Ms. Fu to the station. They released her at 11 p.m.
On the afternoon of December 26, 2006, policemen from the Shimenzhai Station and Funing County 610 Office went to Ms. Fu Yafeng's house to harass her, so she had to leave home to avoid being arrested.
26. [Foshan City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Xue Jinsong Arrested
On December 20, 2006, policemen from the Qinliu Town Station in Shunde District, Foshan City arrested Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Xue Jinsong from her home. Ms. Xue Jinsong's older sister Xue Yuan (also a practitioner) has already been arrested, and both of these sisters' whereabouts are unknown.

29. [Zhenyuan County, Gansu Province] Mr. Zhang Feng Mistreated by His Employer
Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhang Feng, 30, is an employee of the Zhenyuan County Industrial Trading Company. In April 2000, the Company CCP Secretary Han Jixiang assigned two employees to place Mr. Zhang Feng under around the clock house arrest in an office, and they restricted his personal freedom for one month.
In May 2000, Mr. Zhang was picked up by his employer after an appeal in Beijing, all costs (around four thousand yuan) was deducted from Mr. Zhang's salary. The company head, Xi Hua, restricted Mr. Zhang Feng's personal freedom.
In September 2002, Mr. Zhang Feng was released from forced labor, but he was directly taken to the Qingyang City Drug Rehabilitation Center. His employer sent an employee to the center to help the 610 Office "transform" him, and they forced him to undergo brainwashing for more than two months.
In December 2002, Mr. Zhang Feng returned to work. His employer deducted all of his salary from his forced labor and brainwashing term.
In 2005, Mr. Zhang Feng had to leave home for one year to avoid being arrested. When he returned to work in October 2006, his employer only paid him 600 yuan for basic living costs starting from November 2006.
30. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Sisters Wang Lei and Wang Yan Arrested
At 10:00 p.m. on December 24, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Lei was arrested in her home. Police lied, saying that they were neighbors living on the lower floor and there was a water leak, so Ms. Wang Lei opened the door.
On the morning of December 25, 2006, Ms. Wang Lei's sister Wang Yan and her husband (not a practitioner) were both arrested in their home located in Kuancheng District, Changchun City. Their 12 year-old daughter was left home alone.
31. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Wang Juhua and Others Arrested
At around 1:30 p.m. on December 21, 2006, led by Retirement Office Head Gao Feng (gender unknown) of the Emei Film Production Company, officials from the Funan Street Neighborhood Administration, 610 Office, security guards of the Emei Film Production Company, and policemen from Funan Station stormed into Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Juhua's home, located in the family housing of the company. They did not find anything they wanted during the ransacking, but they still took Ms. Wang and her husband plus two fellow practitioners visiting them into custody in the station. According to witnesses, policemen also ransacked the home of the two visiting fellow practitioners.

32. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Yang Jianzhong Detained in Yongsheng Detention Center
In December 2006, Falun Dafa practitioners (all employed by the 7111 Factory) Ms. Li Yuxiu, Ms. Fan Xuezhen, Mr. He Guozhang, Ms. Wang Meizhen, and Mr. Yang Jianzhong were all arrested one by one, and their homes were all ransacked. 33. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Sun Shijun Facing Forced Labor
Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Sun Shijun was sentenced to forced labor after being arrested by policemen from the Ziyouda Street Station. Because he failed a physical check-up, he was on parole. The Changchun City Police Department is going to re-examine his case, and they plan to send him to the Labor Camp Hospital.

At 2:00 a.m. on December 14, 2006, practitioner Hong (in his or her fifties, first name unknown, gender unknown) from Zhichunli Neighborhood, Haidian District, was arrested from his/her home, and his /her home was ransacked.
35. [Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms Lian Lanying Sent to Forced Labor
Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Lian Lanying was arrested by policeman Jiao Yang (male) and others from the Jixi City Police Department. Police ransacked her home and filed her to be sentenced to forced labor. They have detained her in the Jixi City First Detention Center.
36. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Xu Shoucheng, Ms. Sun Fengzhi, and Ms. Zhang Suqing Arrested
One month ago, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Xu Shoucheng from Hongcaogou Village, Xinxing Farm, Dawa County, Panjin City was arrested when clarifying the truth and posting up the words "Falun Dafa is Good!" He has been detained in the Dawa County Detention Center.
Policemen Zhao Lide and Shi Weide refused to release Mr. Xu or allow his family to visit him. Recently these two policemen also arrested two more Falun Dafa practitioners, Ms. Sun Fengzhi and Ms. Zhang Suqing, and they have detained them as well.

37. [Beijing] Elementary School Textbook Contains Slander against Falun Dafa
The higher grade elementary school text book Zhi-rong-ru, Shu-xin-feng contains an article slandering Falun Dafa, and it has been passed down to each school. This book was edited by the National Juvenile Literature Education Editorial, and it was published by the Chinese Women's Publishing Company and the New World Publishing Company, located at 24-Shijia Lane, Dongcheng District, Beijing City, zip code 100010. 38. [Neijiang City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Yu Ziming Sentenced to Four and Half Years in Prison
Falun Dafa practitioners Ms. Gao Huifang and Mr. Yu Ziming were both from Longchang County, Neijiang City. They were arrested on June 25, 2006, when passing out truth clarifying materials. Ms. Gao Huifang was tortured to death on the same day, and Mr. Yu Ziming has been detained ever since. She has been sentenced to four and half years in prison.
