(Clearwisdom.net) State Security police and officers from the police station in Rushan County, Weihai City, Shandong Province, have not only illegally arrested Falun Dafa practitioners recently but also harassed them in their homes. Ms. Duan Huizhi was arrested and taken to the forced labor camp. Mr. Wai Gaojian's electricity was cut off.
Mr. Gao didn't compromise even though he was "illegally detained" in a forced labor camp for two years. After his return home in the spring, local CCP officials cut off the electricity to his and his parents' residences. It has yet to be restored
On the afternoon of October 4, 2007, officers Rushan County State Security and Dagushan Town Police Station intruded into Ms. Duan's home and arrested her while she was doing housework. They ransacked her house and took away all Falun Dafa books, audiotapes, and other belongings. The police held Ms. Duan in the detention center for 20 days and then sentenced her to forced labor for two years. They also extorted $600 from her family, claiming that it was for boarding costs.
Ms. Duan suffered from various diseases before she started to practice Falun Dafa. During the busy autumn season, her husband would take her in a car to the fields so that she could sit there and pick peanuts. Her husband had taken up other household chores such as cooking and washing the clothes. After she practiced Falun Dafa, all her illnesses disappeared, and she was able to do a lot of work, both indoors and outdoors. Seeing the positive changes in his wife, Mr. Duan also took up the practice. He gave up his addiction to alcohol and other bad habits. Their children and grandchildren stopped worrying about their health. The whole family greatly benefited from Falun Dafa.
CCP officials sentenced Ms. Duan to forced labor for two years because she told the public the facts about Falun Dafa and the benefits that she derived from practicing it. The CCP persecution has broken up her family. Her husband has lost his helpmate, and all the work at the farm has forced him to go to the market to buy inferior food for his meals.
