(Clearwisdom.net) It has been eight years since the persecution against Falun Dafa practitioners began. With Teacher's guidance, practitioners in my city have completed many difficult journeys and have become more mature. Below are the stories of two fellow practitioners.
Practitioner A, who is in her sixties, has a family of five. Her husband has Alzheimer's disease, and she has to do all the chores around the house in addition to taking care of her grandson. She has very little time to rest, but has nevertheless managed to do well in the three things that are required of Falun Dafa practitioners. During the past several years, in collaboration with other local practitioners, she has distributed the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and Falun Dafa-related materials in the surrounding area. As a result, many people have withdrawn from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) or its affiliated organizations.
During the first half of this year, in order to help her husband's family understand the facts about Falun Gong, she took her ill husband to visit his hometown. Along the way, they experienced numerous difficulties due to her husband's illness. They eventually arrived at her husband's old home, only to be shunned by his relatives because most of them are veteran Communist Party members. In fact, her husband's brother would not let them in at first because he was suspicious about her intentions. Nevertheless, she did not give up. She tried to convince them patiently with a pure heart, and eventually they were moved. In a matter of ten to twenty days, she visited about a dozen families. More than forty people quit the CCP's organizations.
Practitioner B is also an elderly practitioner. His favorite motto is, "We should constantly bear in mind Teacher's words. Every single thought of ours should comply with the Fa." After Teacher's article, "Thoroughly Dissolve the Evil" was published, he invited fellow practitioners to go to a forced labor camp to send righteous thoughts at close proximity. On the way, he recited some of Teacher's poems from Hong Yin II. He managed to find his way into the "Strictly Controlled Unit" of the forced labor camp after passing many check points, through which regular visitor are never admitted. The director of the unit was shocked to see him there. He asked, "How did you get in?" Practitioner B replied, "I'm here to take back something you have taken away." The director just left the room without another word. Practitioner B continued to send righteous thoughts and then left the forced labor camp in a dignified manner.
On July 7, 2007, Teacher said in "Fa Teaching at the U.S. Capital":
"Aside from what you as individuals need to go through and establish on your final road to Consummation, what is most important for you and most significant right now is to save people."
This gave him the strength and resolve to return to his hometown and clarify the truth to his relatives, friends and others, and to advise people to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. Once, he went to a remote mountain area to explain the facts about Falun Gong to people. As soon as he set out, the wind started to blow and the rain started pouring down. At almost seventy years of age, he was not afraid of the high mountains or the slippery roads. Braving the wind and rain, he went to a mountain village with a sense of mission and responsibility. After a day's work, he had successfully persuaded several dozen people to withdraw from the CCP's organizations. After he returned home, he noticed that there was no dirt on his white sneakers at all. They were as clean as they had been when he left the house. He knew that it was Teacher trying to encourage him.
This past October, some CCP officials visited a few practitioners' homes in my city on a pretense. However, fellow practitioners have long been free of fear and other attachments, and in their place is compassion. They treated everyone who visited them like family members. They told everyone that Falun Dafa is good, and that "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" is good.
