(Clearwisdom.net) In the dens of the evildoers, such as forced labor camps and brainwashing centers where Falun Dafa practitioners are being persecuted and tortured, those practitioners who went astray (collaborators) all use hypocrisy to damage true practitioners' righteous faith. They call their superficial friendliness "compassion" and say that practitioners who resist the persecution are "not compassionate," that sending forth righteous thoughts is "not compassionate," and that truth-clarification is "damaging the Fa on the human level" and is also "not compassionate," and so on. Some practitioners can't let go of human attachments and unintentionally as well as intentionally accept this evil doctrine. Many practitioners have fallen as a result. The bottom line is that collaborators are controlled by the evil to maintain the persecution and everything old, which directly damages "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" and Dafa.
Teacher has told us:
"Zhen, Shan, Ren is the Fa! And it is the manifestation of the Great Fa of the cosmos at different levels. It is absolutely not some human theory or guiding principle for ordinary human living, as human beings take it to be." ("Beyond the Limits of Forbearance" in Essentials for Further Advancement II )
As practitioners who assist Teacher in Fa-rectification, we must consider all things from the angle of Teacher's Fa-rectification, harmonize what Teacher wants, and only have Dafa things in our hearts, without selfish thoughts for personal interest.
In 2001, some practitioners already had a clear understanding and established righteous thoughts from this perspective. When someone attempted to hold a practitioner liable for smashing his car (even though the accident was not caused by the practitioner), and blackmailed him for money, in the beginning the practitioner thought, "He is giving me virtue." Then he changed his mind and thought, "Isn't this selfishness? Look at this based on Teacher's Fa-rectification. Isn't his blackmailing me warped thinking and behavior? I can't agree to it." A Fa-rectification period practitioner should be responsible for righteous factors and lives in the cosmos. Therefore he thought, "If I owe him, I will pay it back, but I will not allow him to blackmail me." With the difference of one thought, the field was corrected, and the other person changed his attitude and admitted it was not the practitioner's fault. This fellow practitioner was truly compassionate and merciful to people. Not letting people do evil deeds is of course good for the other person. This is a Fa principle that we are all clear about.
Excessive, unprincipled, superficial friendliness, even tolerating the evil persecution, is absolutely not "compassionate." First, it does not maintain the truth of the cosmos. Secondly, it tolerates the evil and encourages warped thoughts and behavior. Thirdly, and even more seriously, it interferes with Teacher's Fa-rectification. Because all sentient beings in the cosmos have moved away from the Fa, Teacher had to come here in order to rectify the Fa. But those bad lives and factors that can't be saved and those that hold onto their arrangements to control lower level lives to interfere with the Fa-rectification will hinder sentient beings from being saved, if they are not eliminated. Many people who have been "transformed" are confused by collaborators' twisted logic, so they do truly uncompassionate things and slander Teacher and Dafa. The collaborators are not compassionate at all when they cooperate with the evil in persecuting practitioners. They actively and willingly restrict practitioners who refuse to be "transformed," force them to act according to official orders, and even curse and beat practitioners, while consistently obeying and catering to the authorities.
I also have experienced a so-called "transformation" and have many thoughts on these issues. I went on a tortuous path due to my selfishness, fear, pursuit of comfort, attachment to protecting myself, and not being willing to endure suffering. It was also because I did not study the Fa enough; did not understand the relationship between Teacher, Fa-rectification, and the old forces; and did not have a clear understanding of the Fa principles. The root cause was still an issue of believing in Teacher and Dafa. Every time Teacher gives Fa lectures, he reminds us that practitioners must do the three things well and expounds on the Fa principles of sending forth righteous thoughts and clarifying the truth. If we have true faith in Teacher and Dafa, although we have different understandings on different levels, as long as we firmly act according to the Fa, without any doubt, surely we can do well. Can you still be a Dafa practitioner if you do not believe in Teacher and Dafa? What many practitioners have seen in other dimensions has also confirmed Teacher's Fa regarding sending forth righteous thoughts. The Fa-rectification has come to the last stage. If this issue is not clearly understood, it will affect us in following Teacher's Fa-rectification progress.
In the midst of related issues, I was confused. I have been thinking for a long time, and through Fa-study and reading fellow practitioners' sharing articles, I had the above enlightenment. I hope to have a clearer understanding on some issues and at the same time hope fellow practitioners will write about what they have enlightened to in order help other practitioners to wake up from their confusion caused by the persecutors' evil brainwashing tactics. We need to help practitioners to form righteous thoughts and remain firm when subjected to intense pressure and brainwashing.
