(Clearwisdom.net) One day, two friends of mine came to chat with me. We talked about the topic of withdrawing from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). One of them told me his thoughts and the changes he experienced after reading the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party.
He is a quiet person, but when he started talking about the Nine Commentaries, he was very talkative and others could not get a word in. He has read it twice. He said, "I used to think that the current CCP is very corrupt and bad-natured, but that it used to be good. Jiang is bad, whereas Mao was good. Therefore, I always thought that we should be careful in commenting on the CCP. In my home, I still kept Maos portrait to show my respect. If someone asked me to withdraw from the CCP, I would think that this person had a problem".
After reading the Nine Commentaries, he said, "This book is truly wonderful. It is extraordinary. Marxism is indeed evil. The CCP depended on this crooked principle to establish itself and become stronger. It has brought tremendous suffering to people all over the world. History has shown that this theory is evil. Therefore it is bound to come to an end."
He also said, "The CCP is a monster. Since its establishment, it has killed 80 million people in China. In numerous movements such as the Land Movement, Suppression of the Anti-revolutionaries, Elimination of the Anti-revolutionaries, the Cultural Revolution, and the Tiananmen Square massacre, it has been murdering people. During the past seven years, the persecution and torture of Falun Gong practitioners has been even more cruel."
He continued, "The CCP is bad in nature. If I had not read the Nine Commentaries, I would not have been able to see its true face and evil nature. It is time for Chinese people to take a new look at the history of the CCP."
After reading the Nine Commentaries, this friend of mine voluntarily withdrew from the CCP. He also took down and burned his portrait of Mao. His wife asked him, "How come you burned the portrait of the chairman?" He replied, "Why should we worship that murderer? He was truly evil."
