1. [Tianjin] About 20 Practitioners Taken into Custody
On March 22, 2007, about 20 practitioners were taken into custody by the North Xianyang Road Police Station in the Hongqiao District, Tianjin. Their homes were searched. Eleven practitioners were released the same night, and the rest remain in custody.

2. [Heilongjiang Province] Elderly Mr. Kang, Former Director of the Mudanjiang City Assistance Center, Remains Unconscious in Prison
Elderly Mr. Kang, former director of the Mudanjiang City Falun Gong Assistance Center, has been unlawfully held in the Mudanjiang Prison. As of January 13, 2007, he was in critical condition. The prison authorities transferred him to a local hospital, where he was operated on twice. Mr. Kang has remained in a state of unconsciousness. It was learned today from other practitioners in the prison that the prison authorities had agreed to release Mr. Kang on medical parole, but Mr. Kang's family did not accept the terms.
3. [Jilin Province] Practitioner Mr. Wang Qibo in Critical Condition Resulting from Persecution in the No. 6 Ward at Jilin Prison
Mr. Wang Qibo has been in critical condition as a result of persecution while being held in the No. 6 Ward in Jilin Prison. Mr. Wang is now in the Jilin City No. 2 Central Hospital (the Railroad Hospital) in Jilin Province.
4. [Hubei Province] Practitioners Mr. Gao Zhengjia, Mr. Li Hong, and Mr. Huang Xuejun Taken into Custody
In March 2007, practitioner Mr. Gao Zhengjia from Gaozhai Village in Lidian Town was taken into custody by Yunmeng police while he was distributing truth-clarifying materials in Yunmeng County. Mr. Gao remains in custody.
On March 19, 2007, the Anlu City Agriculture Bank, colluding with the Anlu City 610 Office, forcibly took practitioner Mr. Li Hong into custody. Mr. Li has subsequently been sent to the provincial brainwashing center for persecution. Thr Anlu City Agriculture Bank had put him on probation and suspended his salary.
On March 22, practitioner Mr. Huang Xuejun was taken into custody by police from Yunmeng County, Xiaogan City, and Anlu City. Mr. Huang is being held in Yunmeng Detention Center.
5. [Jilin Province] Plainclothes Officers and Jobless People Set Traps to Catch Practitioners
Since March 2007, state security officers in urban areas of Jilin City, Jilin Province have all been in plainclothes. The authorities recruited jobless people, put them on the payroll, and sent them out on the streets. These people are stationed in farm markets and other crowded places in order to spot practitioners who are clarifying the truth and then follow and apprehend the practitioners.
6. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Practitioner Mr. Li Fulin's Case Transferred to Futian Procuratorate
On February 27, 2007, Mr. Li Fulin was taken into custody by officers at the Futian Police Station in the Futian District, Shenzhen City. Mr. Li is being held in the Futian Detention Center. It has been learned that his case has been transferred to the Futian Procuratorate. Lacking evidence, the Procuratorate must decide whether to release him or place him under arrest by March 30, when his time detention reaches the maximum of 30 days.
7. [Anhua County, Hunan Province] Practitioner Mr. Li Mengxian Taken into Custody
On the afternoon of March 27, 2007, officers at the Xianxi Town Police Station in Anhua County, Hunan Province, broke into practitioner Mr. Li Mengxian's home. They unlawfully searched Mr. Li's home and confiscated a copy of Zhuan Falun and several Falun Dafa cassette tapes. The officers then took Mr. Li to the police station.
Mr. Li Mengxian, 44, is a teacher at Jiulong Middle School in Xianxi Town, Anhua County, Hunan Province. He started practicing Falun Dafa in 1996. In 2000, he went to Beijing to validate the Fa; he was arrested and sent to the Xinkaipu Forced Labor Camp for one year of forced labor.

8. [Guanghan City, Sichuan Province] Police Launch Coordinated Campaign to Harass Practitioners
On the evening of March 16, 2007, police in Guanghan City in the Deyang area of Sichuan Province took coordinated action to harass practitioners in the city's 24 townships and towns as the officers attempted to search practitioners' homes. It has been learned that four or five practitioners in each township or town have been harassed. A small number of practitioners' homes were unlawfully searched. The police confiscated Falun Dafa books and materials. They also demanded that practitioners whose homes were searched go to the police station to sign the Three Statements.
9. [Yiyuan County, Shandong Province] Follow-up Report on the Persecution of Mr. Zhang Lizeng and Mr. Wang Deqing
Mr. Zhang Lizeng is a practitioner from Miaojiahexi Village in Zhongzhuang Town, Yiyuan County. In November 2006, officers from the county's state security division, the crime response squad, and the Zhongzhuang Police Station jointly arrested him.
Mr. Wang Deqing is a practitioner from Nuanshuihe Village in Wujing Town, Linqu County. In January 2007, officers from the Yiyuan County State Security Division and those from the Wujing Town Police Station in Linqu County jointly arrested him.
The two practitioners have been held in the Yiyuan County Detention Center. When their family members went to demand their release, state security officers claimed that the cases were turned in to the Yiyuan County Court, and they were no longer in charge of these cases.

On the morning of March 27, 2007, Mr. Wang Lianquan, a practitioner from Bin County in Harbin City, was turned in to the police while he was clarifying the truth on Beihuan Road in Binzhou Town. Officers from the Fendou Police Station went to Mr. Wang's home to unlawfully search it and took him to the Bin County Police Department.

12. [Yanggu County, Shandong Province] Practitioner Mr. Meng Huanlong Taken into Custody by Police - His Whereabouts Unknown
Mr. Meng Huanlong, about 42 years old, is a practitioner from Dakengwang Village in Dingshui Town, Yangu county. On March 25, 2007, he went to the farm market in Shifo Town and was turned in to the police. Officers from the Shifo Police Station took him into custody. Mr. Meng's whereabouts remain unknown.
13. [Tianjin] Mr. Wu Guirong and Several Other Practitioners Taken into Custody
In the early morning on March 26, 2007, officers at the Dongpuwa Police Station in the Wuqing District, Tianjin, took into custody Mr. Wu Guirong, a practitioner from Dawuchang Village in Dongpuwa Township. Mr. Wu was sent directly to the Wuqing Detention Center. Officers at the Quanzhou Road Police Station in Yangcun Town took practitioner Ms. Xu Xaingfeng into custody. The officers also besieged the home of Ms. Liu Lixin.
In addition, officers at the Huanghuadian Township Police Station besieged practitioner Mr. Yang Yuyong's home.
Ms. Liu Lixin and Mr. Yang Yuyong managed to escape with righteous thoughts in mind.

Ms. Lin Bingju, a practitioner from Guangzhou City, was arrested on March 6, 2007, while distributing truth-clarifying materials. After 15 days of detention, she was secretly sentenced to one year of forced labor. She is being held at the Chatou Forced Labor Camp in Guangzhou City. Her family has not received any notification.
17. [Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] Several Practitioners Unlawfully Sentenced to Prison or Otherwise Persecuted
A practitioner with the surname of Hu in the Pukou area in Nanjing City was arrested and subsequently sentenced to 18 months in prison. Two other practitioners arrested were Ms. Ma Peihua and Ms. Zhou Li.
Police arrested Ms. Shi Ming, a practitioner from the Maigaoqiao Neighborhood in the Qixia District, on the grounds that she was carrying an MP3 player with Falun Dafa contents. Ms. Shi's father has been forced to leave home since neighbors have been ordered to keep an eye on him.
Mr. Cao Ziyin, a practitioner from Huajiaqiao in the Xiaguan District, has been heavily sentenced to ten years in prison. Mr. Cao has been sent to Suzhou Prison together with Mr. Zhang Xuefeng and Mr. Ma Zhenyu.
18. [Wu'an City, Hebei Province] Current Situations of Practitioners Taken into Custody
Of the practitioners taken into custody on March 21, 2007, by the Wu'an City Police Department, one is on hunger strike.
The persecution has been carried out by Section No. 1 of the city's police department.

19. [Hubei Province] Follow-up Report on the Trial of Ms. Yang Yunhua
On March 20, 2007, the Xishui Court in Hubei Province called for a trial. However, Mr. Guo Chunliu, who was to be the "witness," ran away. The trial was aborted.
On the evening of March 26, 2007, Mr, Guo was arrested upon returning home. His son was also taken into custody. On March 27, the Xishui Court unlawfully put Ms. Yang Yunhua; Mr. Li Zhengwen; Ms. Zhou Qi and her husband, Mr. Guo Chunliu; and a practitioner with the surname of Fan on trial . Each family was allowed to have one person to attend the trial. The attendees had to agree to be body-searched. The six people are being held at the county's No. 1 Detention Center.
20. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Huanren County Police Break into Civilian's Home
On March 22 and March 27, 2007, four police officers from the Xiangyang Township Police Station in Huanren Town, led by Zhang Qi (male), director of the police station, broke into the home of Mr. Fu, who lives in Baicha Village, Xiangyang Township. The police were looking for Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials, but they did not find any.

21. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Practitioners Mr. Yu Qiye and Wife Taken into Custody at Their Home
Recently, Mr. Yu Qi and his wife, Ms. Wang Shaojuan, practitioners from Yujia Village, Tieshan Town in the Lushunkou District, Dalian City, were taken into custody at their home. The police also confiscated two personal computers and a printer.

22. [Zhangshan City, Guangdong Province] Elderly Practitioner Mr. Huang Liande Taken into Custody Again - His Home Unlawfully Searched
Mr. Huang Liande, 73, is a practitioner from Zhongshan City. On the morning of March 19, 2007, he was taken into custody while distributing truth-clarifying materials to residential homes in the Shiqicheng District by police who were staked out there. Mr. Huang was subsequently sent to the Qijiang Police Station. On the same afternoon, a dozen or so officers from the district police department, the Qijaing and Yuelainan police stations, and the Nanxia Street Administration Region broke into Mr. Huang Liande's home. The officers confiscated some Falun Dafa materials.
When Mr. Huang was held in custody, he clarified the truth to the police and other staff and told them that good deeds would be rewarded and evil acts would meet with retribution. On the same afternoon, he left the police station and returned home with righteous thoughts in mind.

At around 2:00 p.m. on March 23, 2007, several officers from the patrolling unit in Wafangdian City broke into practitioner Ms. Pan Jianli's home in the foothills of the Lingxia District. The officers unlawfully searched her home and took into possession her valuables, including a personal computer. They also took her into custody on criminal charges and held her in the detention center.

25. [Tianjin] Another Practitioner Taken into Custody
Young practitioner Fang (gender unknown, given name unkown) lives on Tianta Street in the Hexi District, Tianjin City. On March 26, officers at the Tiyuanbei Police Station took Fang into custody. Fang's whereabouts remain unknown.
Practitioner Mr. Sun, 37, has been unlawfully sentenced to seven years in prison. Mr. Sun is being held in the No. 2 Ward at the Gangbei Prison in Tianjin City. Due to police abuse, Mr. Sun has developed symptoms of vasculitis and diabetes. His legs have turned black. His mother is trying to get all the paper work ready for his medical parole. However, the Gangbei Prison authorities have refused to release Mr. Sun. Zhang Shilin, male, a division head, has refused to meet Mr. Sun's family. Mr. Sun's condition is not clear.
