At a little past 11:00 a.m. on March 16, 2007, over ten police officers from the State Security Division of the Anci District in Langfang City, in collusion with the Nanmengwai District Police Station, surrounded practitioner Ms. Wang Ruilan's tofu side stand and attempted to arrest her, but they did not succeed. Later, when Ms. Wang was pushing her cart to go home, they surrounded her again. Without going through any legal procedures, they confiscated computers, printers, Falun Dafa books, and Falun Dafa materials from Ms. Wang's home and side stand.
At 12:40 p.m., officers forced Ms. Wang Ruilan and practitioner Mr. Zhang Wanmin into a police car and illegally arrested them. They were taken to the Anci District State Security Division of Langfang City.
At a little past 2:00 p.m., police from the Anci District State Security Division of Langfang City ransacked Ms. Wang's home for the second time. Ms. Wang's daughter tried her best to stop the police, but the police still confiscated many things.

3. [Jilin Province] Family Members of Five Arrested Practitioners Continuing Their Efforts to Demand the Release of Practitioners
Practitioners Mr. Zhao Yingjie, Mr. Zhao Guoxing, Ms. Miao Chunhong, Ms. Wang Liqiu, and Ms. Liu Yahe from Jilin City were arrested by the State Security Division of the Police Department of Jilin City on February 12 and 13, 2007. The family members of these five practitioners went to the Xiangyang Police Station, Chuanying State Security Division and the Detention Center as well as the Jilin City 610 Office to demand the release of the practitioners. They also repeatedly went to the State Security Division of the Police Department of Jilin City to demand the release of the practitioners, but so far they have been rejected by all of these places. No one has come forward to handle their cases. In the process of these efforts, the gate guards of the Police Department took the family members' pictures.

6. [Huainan City, Anhui Province] Practitioner Mr. Wang Qi Brutally Tortured
Practitioner Mr. Wang Qi from Huainan City was detained in 2000 when he went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa. Because he refused to give up his belief, he was forced to leave home to avoid being arrested. He was also dismissed from his job. In 2004, he was arrested by police from Shenzhen City. He was sentenced to three years of imprisonment and was held in the Beijiang Town Prison of Shaoguan City in Guangdong Province. Since he continued to be steadfast in upholding his belief, the police subjected him to sleep deprivation and other forms of torture. He went on a hunger strike for over 20 days and became emaciated. His life is endangered. The prison guards have been force-feeding him via an inserted tube.

7. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Mr. Li Gang Arrested by State Security Division Spies from Weifang City
On the morning of March 13, 2007, practitioner Mr. Li Gang from the Kuiwen District of Weifang City in Shandong Province was arrested by State Security Division spies, and his home was subsequently ransacked. They confiscated a large amount of Falun Dafa books and a picture of Master Li. Mr. Li Gang is currently being held in the Weifang City Detention Center.

On February 3, 2007, two practitioners who are soldiers from the San'aitang Hospital of the Military Army of Lanzhou City were arrested. People were sent from Beijing to participate in the persecution of these two practitioners.

11. [Hubei Province] Practitioner Mr. Chen Qiji from China's Third Architectural Engineering Construction Company of Jingmen City Released for Medical Treatment
Several years ago, practitioner Mr. Chen Qiji, from China's Third Architectural Engineering Construction Company of Jingmen City in Hubei Province, was sentenced to ten years of imprisonment. Last year he was released to seek medical treatment and returned home from Fanjiatai Prison. Mr. Chen Qiji's wife, practitioner Ms. Li Yanhua, was also sentenced to ten years of imprisonment several years ago. She is currently being held and tortured in the Wuhan City Women's Prison. Another practitioner being held there is Ms. Zhou Ping.
12. [Luoyang City, Henan Province] Supplementary Information on the Arrest of Practitioner Mr. Shen Wanjun in His 70s
Practitioner Mr. Shen Wanjun, 71 years old, from Yaodi Village in Yichuan County, Luoyang City, Henan Province, was arrested on March 10, 2007, when he was returning home from a trip. Agents of the local 610 Office and the Political and Judicial Committee were waiting for him at his home. They confiscated three copies of Zhuan Falun and other materials such as the "Minghui Weekly." The Yichuan County 610 Office and the County Political and Judicial Committee interrogated him regarding the source of these materials by subjecting Mr. Shen Wanjun to torture. The Luoyang City 610 Office and the City Political and Judicial Committee also sent people to participate in the interrogation. Mr. Shen Wanjun is currently being held in the Yichuan County Detention Center.

13. [Beijing] Practitioner Ms. Wang Weijing Arrested
Reportedly, practitioner Ms. Wang Weijing from Pingfang Village, Pingfang Township in the Chaoyang District of Beijing was taken away by the Pingfang Police Station on March 12, 2007, from her workplace, the Pingfang Township Senior Housing. Her current whereabouts are not known.

During the time when they were being held, the detention center officials received phone calls from overseas practitioners clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa.

16. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioners Ms. Dao Yuqin and Ms. Zhao Yuemei Facing Extended Detention
In early April 2007, practitioners Ms. Dao Yuqin and Ms. Zhao Yuemei should complete their illegal detention terms. However, since these two practitioners steadfastly refuse to write the three statements, the Wanjia Forced Labor Camp is about to report to the Daoli District 610 Office to extend their detention for further persecution.
17. [Zhuolu County, Hebei Province] Practitioner Ms. Zhang Shuzhen Arrested at Home
On the afternoon of March 13, 2007, about seven police officers from the Zhuolu County State Security Division of the County Police Department, the Zhuolu Town Government, and the Zhuolu Town Police Station broke into the home of practitioner Ms. Zhang Shuzhen, a Yuanzhuang Village, Zhuolu Town resident, without any justifiable reasons. At that time, a handyman, Mr. Liu, was repairing electronic appliances in her home. Both Ms. Zhang Shuzhen and Mr. Liu were arrested. Ms. Zhang Shuzhen's home was ransacked, and most of her electronic appliances as well as Mr. Liu's bus were confiscated. The location in which Ms. Zhang Shuzhen is being held is not clear. Mr. Liu is currently being held in the Zhuolu County Detention Center, and he is being tortured.
18. [Duchang County, Jiangxi Province] Evil People Harassing Practitioners Again
Zhan Yuanpeng from Duchang County in Jiangxi Province led people to break into practitioner Mr. Wang Huosheng's home on January 8 and 10, 2007. They confiscated Falun Dafa materials. They also attempted to arrest Mr. Wang Huosheng, but he stopped them with his righteous thoughts. On March 13, 2007, Zhan again led people, this time to break into practitioner Mr. Jiang Xiaohua's school to confiscate Falun Dafa materials and also attempt to arrest Mr. Jiang, who walked away with righteous thoughts. Chief of the County State Security Division Zhang Shixin harassed practitioners of Duchang County at their homes and workplaces on March 12 and March 13, 2007.

19. [Chongqing City] Practitioner Ms. Tang Chunhua Sentenced to Forced Labor
Practitioner Ms. Tang Chunhua, around 55 years old, is from the Yuzhong District of Chongqing City. Ms. Tang used to make a living by selling noodles at the Gongren Village Farmer's Market in the Tuwan Region of the Shapingba District in Chongqing City. She rented a place in Gongren Village.
On December 27, 2006, when Ms. Tang Chunhua was distributing truth-clarification materials near her home, located in Gongren Village in the Shapingba District, she was reported to the police. She was later taken to the Tuwan Police Station. Subsequently, the police from the Police Station took Ms. Tang to Baihelin Detention Center in the Shapingba District and illegally held her there for 15 days for "violating the social order." Afterwards, the Shapingba District 610 Office ordered police officers to transfer Ms. Tang to Yiwanshui Detention Center in the Yubei District of Chongqing City. Her husband was notified to send her some basic daily necessities, but no one was allowed to see her. Ms. Tang's husband recently learned that she has been sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor. She is being held in the Chongqing City Women's Forced Labor Camp.

20. [Chongqing City] Practitioner Mr. Xu Yongpei Returned Home
Practitioner Mr. Xu Yongpei from the Shapingba District, Chongqing City, was arrested by police on January 7, 2007. On February 17, 2007, he was released.
21. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Practitioners Ms. Zhou Yiqun and Mr. Tu Qiyao Sentenced to Imprisonment.
Practitioners Ms. Zhou Yiqun and Mr. Tu Qiyao from Chengdu City were respectively sentenced to three and five years of imprisonment in May 2006, accused of "leaking national secrets." Due to the efforts of the practitioners' family members and attorney, the Wuhou District Court of Chengdu City held a second trial. On February 28, 2007, the practitioners' sentences were reduced to two years and two and a half years respectively. Mr. Tu Qiyao will continue to appeal.

On March 15, 2007, about seven practitioners from Jianyang City were reported to police when they were making truth-clarification materials in Yangma Town and Zhoujia Town of Jianyang City. They were subsequently arrested. We have now learned that the following practitioners were arrested: Mr. Li Maoshu, Ms. Hu Jianfang, Ms. Wu Bangrong, and Ms. Liu Jiangxiu. Afterwards, the police took away the practitioners' house keys and ransacked their homes.

On February 6, 2007, practitioner Mr. Zheng Haitao from Luanping County of Chengde City, a taxi cab driver in his 30s, was arrested by local police officers when he was clarifying the truth in Tong County, Beijing City. He is currently being held in the Tong County Detention Center.
On March 14, 2007, practitioner Ms. Li Shuhua from Chengde City was arrested when she was distributing truth-clarification materials in Longhua County. She is currently being held in the Longhua County Detention Center.

Practitioner Ms. Zhao Yujin from Houzhaozhuang Village of Xiajin County was taken to Wangcun Forced Labor Camp on the morning of January 22, 2007. Due to poor health, she was released on February 15, 2007. The police are still interrogating her regarding the source of truth-clarification materials as well as information on other practitioners who contacted her.

On the afternoon of March 15, 2007, new practitioner Mr. Zhang Jun was distributing truth-clarification materials in Nanyuzhuang Village, Qing County. He was reported to police and was subsequently arrested. He is currently being held in the Qing County Detention Center.

At about 3:30 p.m. on March 15, 2007, six police officers from Fate Town, Shulan City, broke into the home of practitioner Mr. Xu Zhongyou and ransacked it. They confiscated a laptop, a HP1015 printer, a cellphone, a paper cutter, four boxes of toner, five to eight boxes of paper, and other items. Mr. Xu Zhongyou has been forced to leave home to avoid being arrested.

31. [Shandong Province] Practitioner Mr. Ren Huaiqiang from the Nantun Coal Mine of the Yankuang Group Arrested
At a little past 9:00 a.m. on March 12, 2007, Zheng Li (male), the Chief of the State Security Division of the Jidong District Police Department of Zoucheng City in Shandong Province, led over ten people to break into the home of practitioner Mr. Ren Huaiqiang, who works at the Nantun Coal Mine. Two people restrained Mr. Ren Huaiqiang's father, while several others forcibly arrested Mr. Ren Huaiqiang for the second time. Mr. Ren was taken away without having the time to put on his jacket, shoes, or socks.

Two other practitioners, Ms. Lin Weizhu and Mr. Gong Fajiu, are no longer in the No. 5 Division, and their whereabouts are unknown.

On March 14, 2007, two practitioners (husband and wife) with the surname He from Jilin City were arrested.
On the evening of March 15, 2007, practitioner Ms. Jia Dongyun and her husband (a non-practitioner) were also arrested.
36. [Tieling City, Liaoning Province] Many Practitioners Including Ms. Liu Lijuan Arrested
Following the arrest of practitioner Ms. Zhang Liyan on March 15, 2007, additional practitioners were arrested on March 16, 2007. They are: Ms. Li Lijuan (in her 50s), Mr. Zhang Xiangyi (around 40 years old), Mr. Bai Gang (in his 30s), Ms. Du Xiaotan (in her 30s), and Ms. Du Xiaojuan (in her 30s). These practitioners are all staff members of the Qinghe District Electric Plant. Reportedly, the Security Department of the Qinghe District Electric Plant participated in the arrest of these practitioners.

Following the arrest of practitioner Mr. Ye Changqing from the Tiexi District of Shenyang City on January 23, 2007, by the Santaizi Police Station in the Huangge District, Mr. Ye's younger brother and younger sister were also arrested at home on March 15, 2007.
Since the beginning of this year, six local practitioners have been arrested and held.
Mr. Zhang Xiao was arrested by the Santaizi Police Station in the Huangge District on January 17, 2007, and has been held since his arrest.
Mr. Ye Changqing was arrested by the Santaizi Police Station on January 23, 2007, and has been held since his arrest.
Ms. Zhang Lanyu was arrested by the Xiaojinqiao Police Station of the Dadong District on March 14, 2007, and has been held since his arrest.

On January 31, 2007, practitioners Ms. Gao Dinglian, Ms. Li Yuzhi, and Ms. Li Yuzhi's family members were arrested. At present, Ms. Gao Dinglian and Ms. Li Yuzhi's family members have been released after being held for 14 days. Ms. Li Yuzhi is still being held.

At a little past 8:00 a.m. on the morning of March 5, 2007, practitioner Ms. Ye Jing was arrested at her workplace by the Hexi District Police Station. Reportedly, her workplace turned her in to the police.
40. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Mr. Li Zhongyu and His Wife Arrested
On March 16, 2007, practitioner Ms. Guo Cuiping and her husband Mr. Li Zhongyu, from the Wenchangli Region, the Haigang District, Qinhuangdao City, were arrested when they went to the beach to distribute truth-clarification materials. Their home was also ransacked. Their daughter is now home alone. Their current whereabouts are unknown.
41. [Macheng City, Hubei Province] Practitioner Mr. Tao Lahuai Arrested Again
At a little past 11:00 a.m. on March 16, 2007, the Macheng City 610 Office and the State Security Division colluded with the Macheng City Education Bureau and the Macheng City Kindergarten staff members and went to practitioner Mr. Tao Lahuai's home to forcibly take him away.
42. [Lanzhou City, Ganzu Province] Practitioner Mr. Luo Yongde and His Wife, Ms. Xin Xiangcao, Tortured in the Brainwashing Center
Practitioner Mr. Luo Yongde and his wife, Ms. Xin Xiangcao, from Agan Town, the Qilihe District, Lanzhou City, were arrested in November 2006. They were brutally tortured by police in the Lanzhou City Police Department. At present, both practitioners have been taken to the Lanzhou City Brainwashing Center and are being tortured.
One evening in November 2003, the police suddenly broke into Mr. Luo and Ms. Xin's home and ransacked it. That night, both practitioners happened to not be home. Since then, both practitioners have been forced to leave home to avoid being arrested.
43. [Hebei Province] The Forced Labor Camp of Baoding City Tortures Practitioners by Making Them Perform Slave Labor
The Baoding City Forced Labor Camp is forcing practitioners being held there to do slave labor. It accepted work from the Beifang Flower-making Factory of Baoding City and has been forcing practitioners to do manual labor. Practitioners have been beaten or cursed if they show any sign of refusing to cooperate. Through the slave labor of practitioners, the labor camp is making profits.

44. [Hebei Province] The Qian'an City State Security Division Attempting to Arrest Practitioner Ms. Li Hongmei
Police officers, including Pu Yonglai (male) from the Qian'an City State Security Division, attempted to arrest practitioner Ms. Li Hongmei again. They repeatedly broke into Ms. Li Hongmei's home, but Ms. Li walked away with righteous thoughts every time. In addition, another fellow practitioner who was arrested on March 14, 2007, has also returned home safely.

At around 3:00 p.m. on March 16, 2007, practitioner Ms. Yi Shumin from Wafangdian City was arrested by four police officers from the Gangdian Police Station and her home was also ransacked. At around 8:00 p.m., Ms. Yi was taken to the Wafangdian City Detention Center.

46. [Wafangdian City, Liaoning Province] Arrested Practitioner Ms. Zhang Sufang Returned Home
Reportedly, practitioner Ms. Zhang Sufang was arrested on March 8, 2007, and has now returned home. Another practitioner, Ms. Zhang Wenhua, was arrested at the same time as Ms. Zhang Sufang, and she is facing 15 days of illegal detention.
47. [Guanghan City, Sichuan Province] Police Broke into Citizen's Home in an Effort to Harass Practitioners
On the evening of March 15, 2007, about eight police officers from the Chengbei Police Station of Guanghan City went to the home of practitioner Mr. Chen Weiming and demanded that he open the door so they could conduct a room-to-room search. Mr. Chen and his family members refused to let them in. Eventually, the police officers left.
