1. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Police Beatings Fractured the Left Arm of Falun Gong Practitioner Feng Liping
Police in Changchun City staged a large-scale raid of Falun Gong on May 9, 2007. Personnel from the Erdaohezi District Police Department arrested around 60 practitioners. Of those, Falun Gong practitioners Mr. Feng Liping and Ms. Wang Yuhuan were put into the Shuangyang City No. 3 Detention Center.
Officers from the Changchun City Police Department brutally beat practitioner Mr. Feng two weeks ago. Mr. Feng sustained a left forearm fracture. According to a doctor at the city's Tiebei Police Hospital, Mr. Feng's left forearm was badly injured. The police are force-feeding him and thus injured Mr. Feng's stomach. He can only drink a little milk. His family requested to visit him, but was refused.
2. [Jidong County, Heilongjiang Province] 610 Office Police Arrested Practitioner Shi Xiaochun After His Prison Term Expired
Practitioner Mr. Shi Xiaochun, in his 40s, is from Jidong County, Heilongjiang Province. He was released on June 8, 2007 after two years of forced labor. His family and personnel from the county's government went to the Harbin City's Changlinzi Forced Labor Camp to take him back home. After they picked Mr. Shi up and took a train back to the county's station, officers from the government tried to take Mr. Shi away to sign certain documents in the county's 610 Office. Mr. Shi found out that they intended to force him to sign a guarantee statement. Mr. Shi refused. Policemen from the 610 Office then put him into a detention center.
3. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Practitioner Qi Yong Arrested, Whereabouts Unknown
Personnel from the Zhengzhou City 610 Office and from the city's police department arrested practitioner Mr. Qi Yong when he was explaining the facts about Falun Gong in April 2007. His whereabouts are unknown.
4. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Practitioner Su Yuying Sentenced to Five Years in Prison
Practitioner Ms. Su Yuying was arrested in August 2006. She was recently sentenced to five years in prison, but her family was not informed.
5. [Datong City, Shanxi Province] Practitioner Liu Yinhua Held with Extended Term
Practitioner Ms. Liu Yinhua, an employee from the Datong City Mine in Shanxi Province, is being held at the Taiyuan City Xindian Women's Forced Labor Camp. She should have been released on June 4, 2007 but is still being held there. She was locked up in a small cell because she refused to comply with the police's unreasonable demands.

Policeman Zhang Shibin and others from Moqi County arrested practitioner Mr. Yin Changqi, an employee from the Dayangshu Mechanical Factory. Prior to this arrest, Mr. Yang Yuxin and his wife Ms. Zeng Haiyan were arrested and are being held at the Moqi Prison.
Practitioners Ms. Zhang Li and Mr. Li Yong are presently being held at the Dayangshu Town No. 2 Prison.
8. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Practitioner Gao Shunqin Held at the Yangyuan Brainwashing Center
A dozen 610 Office agents and policemen arrested practitioner Ms. Gao Shunqin from the Shuiguohu Area, Wuchang District, Wuhan City on June 7, 2007. The arrest happened when Ms. Gao was working in her own store. Ms. Gao is presently being held at the Wuchang District Brainwashing Center.
9. [Xianfeng City, Hubei Province] Practitioner Ms. Jin Qiuyan's Prison Term Is About to Expire
Practitioner Ms. Jin Qiuyan from Xianfeng City, Hubei Province has been held at the Wuchang District Mahute Forced Labor Camp in Wuhan City for nearly a year. She should be released on June 14, 2007.
10. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Xie Laiquan Held at the Hulan Prison
Harbin City County agents sentenced practitioner Mr. Xie Laiquan from Harbin City to three years of imprisonment. Mr. Xie is presently being held at the Hulan Prison.
Practitioners in the prison's Strictly Monitored Team are forced to stand 21 hours every day and are only permitted to sleep for three hours.
Mr. Xie was the husband of practitioner Ms. Lu Lihua who had been tortured to death. After Mr. Xie was arrested, their school-aged child had to live alone without a parent or guardian's care.

12. [Guangzong County, Hebei Province] Practitioner Chen Lianxue Arrested and Home Ransacked
Dapingtai Township Police Department Chief Zhang Shuai and Deputy Chief Niu Xinwei led officers Chen Qiang and Lian Haisheng from Guangzong County, Hebei Province. They broke into practitioner Mr. Li Guoquan's home without any warrant on June 2, 2007. They arrested Mr. Li and ransacked his home. They deceived Mr. Li's wife Ms. Chen Lianxue into going to the township's police station and then put her in the county's detention center.
Personnel from the Hetaoyuan Township Police Station arrested two practitioners from Dongdongli Village, Taoyuan Township, Guangzong County that same day. They also extorted money from the practitioners' families. Personnel from the Hulu Township Police Station extorted money from several practitioners in the township on June 1, 2007.

13. [Hengren County, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Wang Renqiu Persecuted
Practitioner Ms. Wang Renqiu has been arrested several times over a period of six years for explaining the facts of Falun Gong.
Personnel from the Hengren County 610 Office and from the county's police department held Ms. Wang for two years in the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp, from 2002 to 2004. She was forced to stand and was deprived of sleep for a long time. She was hung up by her handcuffs. After her release at the beginning of 2004, her workplace, Hengren County Supplies and Sales Center, fired her. She went to appeal with the county's Political and Judiciary Committee, but her appeal was rejected.
Personnel from the county's police department arrested Wang Renqiu again on April 18, 2007 because she explained the facts about Falun Gong. They put her into a detention center and tortured her there. They also secretly sentenced her to three years of imprisonment. Ms. Wang is presently being held at the county detention center.
14. [Tianjin] Police Arrest Practitioner Zhu Xinhong
Practitioner Zhu Xinhong, in her 50s, was reported to police when she was posting banners about quitting and denouncing the Communist Party and its affiliated organizations at the Hongqiao District the morning of May 30, 2007. A policeman arrested her. Fortunately, her daughter who had accompanied her, escaped. Ms. Zhu's whereabouts are unknown.

A practitioner from Duangang Village, Xiong County was arrested on May 17, 2007 and then released two weeks later. Practitioner Ms. Hao Lijun from Sipu Village, Xiong County was arrested on June 6, 2007. An older practitioner surnamed Xie was arrested on June 7, 2007. A practitioner's home in the Longwan Village was ransacked the night of June 7, 2007.

16. [Pingdu City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Wang Xiyu Arrested
Personnel from the Guxian Town Police Department arrested practitioner Mr. Wang Xiyu at 11: 00 a.m. on June 8, 2007. The arrest happened when Mr. Wang was on his way home at South No. 11 Street in the town. Police then went to Mr. Wang's home and confiscated a computer, a printer and some Dafa books.

17. [Shandong Province] Practitioner Zhang Wenliang Held at the Qingdao City No. 2 Detention Center
Practitioner Mr. Zhang Wenliang was reported while at his younger sister's home on May 10, 2007. Personnel from the Qingdao City Broadcast and Television Bureau, from the National Security Bureau, and from the police department arrested him and put him in the Ping'an Street Police Station. They then transferred him into the Qingdao City No. 2 Detention Center.
The police extorted money from his sister and forced her to sign a document in order to put Mr. Zhang in the Wangcun Prison for further persecution.
18. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Personnel from the Shuangyang Town Police Department Arrest Practitioner Xu Zhenrong
Police arrested practitioner Mr. Xu Zhenrong from Shuangyang Town, the Hanting District, Weifang City the morning of June 9, 2007 when Mr. Xu was clarifying the facts about Falun Gong. The police also extorted money from his family.
19. [Pingdu City, Shandong Province] Personnel from the 610 Office Arrest Practitioner Wang Xiyu
Practitioner Ms. Wang Xiyu from Guxian Town, Pingdu City was released from the Jinan City Women's Prison on June 28, 2006. Personnel from the town's police department went to harass her on June 7, 2007. Two plainclothes agents from the National Security Division stopped Ms. Wang and body-searched her in the town at 11:40 a.m. on June 8, 2007. They put her into a van and took her away. Policemen ransacked her home at 12:00 p.m. without Ms. Wang and her family being present. Ms. Wang's whereabouts are unknown.
20. [Pingdu City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Zhang Huiying's Family Harassed
Dongwangfuzhuang Village Party secretary Jiang Yandang led personnel from Nancun Town, Pingdu City, Shandong Province to practitioner Mr. Zhang Huiying's home on June 9, 2007. Mr. Zhang had been homeless to avoid persecution several years.
Mr. Zhang's father went away in the end of 2006 when Mr. Zhang was not at home. Mr. Zhang's wife, his mother in her late 60s and a daughter in the third grade are left at home.

21. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Practitioners Liu Shengzhu, Wang Honghua and Ma Juan Sentenced
Police from Weifang City arrested practitioners Mr. Liu Shengzhu, Ms. Wang Honghua, and Ms. Ma Juan on October 15, 2006. Weicheng District Court agents secretly sentenced the three practitioners on May 29, 2007.
22. [Guan County, Shandong Province] Practitioner Xu Zengxia and Others Illegally Sentenced
Practitioners Ms. Xu Zengxia, Mr. Xu Xueji, and Ms. Fengzhi from Guan County were arrested the night of April 1, 2007. The arrest happened when the practitioners were explaining the facts about Falun Gong at Yinggu Village, Donggucheng Town. Ms. Xu was sentenced to one year and nine months of forced labor without any evidence against her; Mr. Xu and Ms. Fengzhi were sentenced to one year.
23. [Wangdu County, Hebei Province] Supplemental Information Regarding the Arrest of Practitioner Sun Xingzhen
Practitioner Ms. Sun Xinzhen is being held at the Wangdu County Detention Center. The police ordered her family to pay 2,000 yuan and said they would then release her on June 4, 2007. Ms. Sun's husband and father took the money to the police department the next day. They were then given permission to pick Ms. Sun up at the county's detention center. However, when they arrived at the detention center, they found that the county's 610 Office head Shang Hongzhi and two policewomen had transferred Ms. Sun to Baoding City.
24. [Botou City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Shi Hongyu Arrested
Practitioner Mr. Shi Hongyu, a taxi driver, clarified the truth about Falun Gong to a customer the afternoon of June 4, 2007. However, the customer was a plainclothes policeman from the Botou City Police Department's No. 2 Division. The policeman reported Mr. Shi and he was arrested. The National Security Division chief Zhao Dongsheng led a dozen policemen to Mr. Shi's home. They confiscated his computer and the taxi and placed Mr. Shi in the city's detention center. Mr. Shi's family went to Zhao Dongsheng and requested Mr. Shi's release, but their efforts were refused both times, on June 5 and June 6, 2007. Mr. Shi's family went to the detention center to visit him and heard that Mr. Shi was forced to start daily work at midnight.

Officer Li Shaotian and three other officers from the Paotai Town Police Department in Wafangdian City went to practitioner Mr. Wang Min's home at 9:00 p.m. on April 25, 2007. They arrested Mr. Wang and ransacked his home. They confiscated a computer, a printer, a video player, some blank CDs, all of his Dafa books, and 4,500 yuan cash.
Mr. Wang told the police the facts about Falun Gong, but Li Shaotian did not listen. Instead, they brutally beat him. Mr. Wang was sentenced to two years of forced labor on May 24, 2007. He has been put in the Dalian City Forced Labor Camp.

Personnel from the Jidong County National Security Division arrested practitioner Ms. Li Shuyun from Xinhua Township on June 6, 2007. Ms. Li is being held at the division and facing illegal sentencing.

Policeman Li Shanghong has often harassed practitioner Ms. Li Zhanmei at her home since the nationwide persecution of Falun Gong began on July 20, 1999. Personnel from Zhangbei Town, Zhangjiakou City monitored her home. Ms. Li and her family are under severe stress as a result.

A Hebei Province practitioner in Beijing works as a babysitter. She explained the facts of Falun Gong but was reported. The police arrested her and put her in Beijing's Haidian District Detention Center. Her family went to visit her, but a policeman ordered the family to pay him 1,000 yuan for him to pass certain messages to the practitioner. The family is forbidden to visit the practitioner.

Police from Datong City arrested a practitioner employed at the Datong Mine in May 2004 because the practitioner clarified the facts about Falun Gong to local people. The practitioner's family paid about 60,000 yuan "to establish connections" to get the practitioner released.

Practitioner Mr. Zhang Weijie's wife Ms. Chen and Ms. Xia Qingju from Wuhan City were arrested on June 8, 2007. Mr. Zhang is being held at a brainwashing center, and Ms. Xia's husband is being held at the Fanjiatai Prison. Sources say they were arrested when they went to request Mr. Zhang's release from the brainwashing center.
36. [Chongqing] Practitioner Yan Guangbi Held at a Brainwashing Center
Seven policemen arrested practitioner Mr. Yan Guangbi at 8:30 a.m. on June 1, 2007 when practitioners Mr. Chen Changjun and Mr. Yan were walking in the newly built bus station in the Jiangbei District. The police put Mr. Chen in the district's police department. Then they ransacked the two practitioners' homes. Later on they released Mr. Chen, but put Mr. Yan into a brainwashing center.

The Zhujiaguang Village head and a dozen officers from the Zoushi Town Police Department broke into practitioner Ms. Xiong Heijie's home at 10:00 a.m. on June 5, 2007. They forcibly dragged Ms. Xiong into a police vehicle. They sent her into the city's brainwashing class the next day and extorted 3,000 yuan from her family.

Practitioner Mr. Chen Yunhai, an employee of the Changde City Kindergarten, was arrested at home on May 25, 2007. He is presently being held at the city's brainwashing center.

39. [Qianjiang City, Hubei Province] Practitioner Zhou Aiping Forced to Become Homeless
Practitioner Ms. Zhou Aiping from Qianjiang City, Hubei Province was an employee of the Jianghan Oil Field's No. 57 Wuye Department. Ms. Zhou has been followed, monitored, harassed and held in the Wuhan City Brainwashing Center since the persecution began in 1999.
Personnel from the oil field's 610 Office, from the police station, the security section, the No. 57 Police Station, the No. 57 Wuye Department and residential committee have monitored Ms. Zhou's home around the clock since May 2007. To avoid the persecution, Ms. Zhou was forced to flee her home and become homeless. Her whereabouts are unknown.
40. [Luchuan County, Guangxi Autonomous Region] County Officers Relentlessly Persecute Practitioners
Personnel from the Luchuan County 610 Office and the county police department in the Guangxi Autonomous Region plotted and began a new round of persecution of practitioners. Luchuan County Police Department deputy chief Qiu Shuhua led policemen and ransacked five practitioners' homes the night of June 2, 2007. The practitioners included Ms. Huang Fen, Ms. Zhong Xiaoping, Ms. Tang Guishu, and Mr. Chi Fuxuan. They arrested the practitioners and confiscated Dafa books and truth-clarification materials. Ms. Tang has been released, and the other four are still in detention.
In the meantime they harassed two other practitioners. One of them left home with her two-year-old granddaughter. Her whereabouts are unknown.

41. [Wuwei City, Gansu Province] The Persecution of Practitioner Guo Yulian, in Her Seventies
Practitioner Ms. Guo Yulian is from Shuangcheng Town, the Liangzhou Distrct, Wuling City. Her husband passed away in 2000 due to Communist Party persecution. The police often harassed Ms. Guo. She was sentenced to forced labor in 2001. Political and Security chief Chen Fenggang led a gang and broke into Ms. Guo's home in 2004 in her absence. They confiscated her Dafa book. The police attempted to arrest her several times but failed. Ms. Guo, in her 70s, became homeless to avoid arrest for a long time. The police arrested her in 2006 when she was visiting a fellow practitioner. Detention center agents refused her admission because of her weakened condition. Ms. Guo was summoned to a court at the end of 2006. Personnel from the court arrested her in May 2007.
42. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Practitioner Gao Shunqin Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Gao Shunqin from the Shuiguohu Area, the Wuchang District in Wuhan City runs a housekeeping business. A dozen people broke into her company and arrested her at 1:00 p.m. on June 7, 2007. They first took her to the Shuiguohu Police Station and then transferred her to the Yangyuan Brainwashing Center.
43. [Shantou City, Guangdong Province] Practitioner Zhang Zhihua and Her Sister Zhang Hualing Arrested
Someone reported practitioner Ms. Zhang Zhihua and her sister Ms. Zhang Hualing to the Gangwu Police Station on the morning of June 8, 2007. The arrest happened when the sisters were telling people the facts of Falun Gong in a residential community in the Longhu District. Personnel from the district's Zhuchi Police Station arrested them. The persecutors ransacked their home and confiscated a computer, a printer, a cell phone and some Dafa books.
