1. [Hebei Province] Practitioner Mr. Song Aichang Unlawfully Held at Shijiazhuang Detention Center
On June 22, 2007, practitioner Mr. Song Aichang, a former employee of the No. 13 Research Institute in Qiaoxi District, Shijiazhuang City, was unlawfully taken into custody. It has been learned that Mr. Song has been held at a detention center (possibly the No. 2 Detention Center on 2nd North Ring Road). The police unlawfully searched Mr. Song's home, confiscating a personal computer, antenna, a television set, and accessories. The police also found a computer to be repaired, printers, and several other Falun Dafa related items in the basement.
The police also tried to unlawfully take Mr. Song Aichang's wife (who is not a practitioner) into custody to pressure Mr. Song. She firmly resisted until the police gave up.
2. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Zhao Xiqing in His Seventies Taken to Brainwashing Center Again
On the morning of June 21, 2007, Mr. Zhao Xiqing, a practitioner from Wuhan City in his seventies, was turned in to the authorities while he was clarifying the truth in the Tongju Medical University. Mr. Zhao is now being unlawfully held at the Chenjiaji Brainwashing Center. At 11:30 p.m. on June 22, the police broke into his home for an unlawful search.

On June 21, 2007, the Dongchang District Police Department in Tonghua City issued orders to its subsidiary police stations to dispatch 3 gun-carrying officers and six assistant officers to patrol the streets between midnight and 3:30 a.m. each night and capture any Falun Gong practitioners who clarify the truth. Capturing a practitioner earns a cash reward of 500 yuan.
5. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Yu'e and Ms. Liu Xiuxiang from Zhangling Town in Changyi City
At around 8:30 p.m. on June 21, 2007, members of the Changyi City 610 Office, which is in the jurisdiction of Weifang City, arrived at Zhangling Town. The officers unlawfully took into custody practitioners Ms. Wang Yu'e and Ms. Liu Xiuxiang again.
On May 25, 2007, practitioners Ms. Wang Yu'e, Ms. Liu Xiuxiang, Mr. Zhang Shifu, and Mr. Yue Ming were unlawfully taken into custody. Their homes were searched. Later, Ms. Wang Yu'e, Ms. Liu Xiuxiang, and Mr. Zhang Shifu managed to return home by righteous thoughts.
6. [Xingwen County, Sichuan Province] Practitioner Mr. Ye Guoquan Taken into Custody Again
On June 25, 2007, Mr. Yu Guoquan, a practitioner from Xingwen County, was turned in to the police while he was clarifying the truth. Officers from the 610 Office took him to the police department for interrogation. On the morning of June 26, the police took Mr. Ye away again.
7. [Hengyang City, Hunan Province] Mr. He Shuangquan Taken to Brainwashing Center
On June 25, 2007, Mr. He Shuangquan, a practitioner from Jinjialing Farm, was forcibly taken by members of the 610 Office and officers from the local police station from his home to the Linghu Fish Farm.
8. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Bao Caixia and Husband Taken into Custody; Their Young Daughter Left Unattended
On June 23, 2007, Ms. Bao Caixia, a practitioner in Dalian City was taken into custody by the Jichang Police Station. Her husband was taken away from home. Their young daughter is left unattended.
9. [Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Li Yunjiu and Ms. Shi Qunyang Unlawfully Held in Custody for Over Half a Year
At around 8:30 p.m. on November 22, 2006, Ms. Li Yunjiu and Ms. Shi Qunyang, practitioners from Pengzhou City, went to the countryside in Lichun Town to post truth-clarifying materials. Zeng Jun (male), director of the Lichun Town Police Station led Wang Hu (male) and other officers (one of whom with the surname Wang) to follow the two practitioners. They unlawfully took them into custody. Ms. Li and Ms. Shi have been illegally detained at the Pengzhou City Detention Center. They have been restrained with handcuffs and shackles. They have been unlawful detained for 7 months now. Their families have not been allowed to visit them.
A woman in her forties claimed that she was from the Chengdu City Police Station. She went with the excuse that she was helping the two practitioners get out of detention, but in reality, she cheated Ms. Li Yunjiu's husband out of 2,400 yuan and Ms. Shi Qunyang's husband 800 yuan.
10. [Shandong Province] Mr. Li Yiming Held in a Cage for Over Three Months in Jinan Men's Prison
After Chinese New Year's Day on February 18, 2007, a new round of persecution went underway at the Jinan Men's Prison. When the families of practitioners arrive to visit, they were not allowed to bring in anything, including food, clothes, etc. After the visits, practitioners would be stripped to their underwear for an examination to check if anyone violated the rules.
It was learned that practitioner Mr. Li Yiming was charged for violating this rule. He had been locked in a cage, where he could neither stand straight nor crouch down fully. He was given only one or two small buns to eat. This torture lasted for over three months.
11. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Practitioner Ms. Cui Jinlian Taken into Custody
Ms. Cui Jinlian, 60, is a retired employee at the Changsha Institute of Technology. In May 2004, she had been unlawfully sentenced to fifteen months of forced labor for practicing Falun Dafa and held at the Baimalong Forced Labor Camp. Around June 21, 2007, Ms. Cui was suddenly taken into custody. Ms. Zhang Zhilan, a practitioner at the Changsha Institute of Technology, has also been recently unlawfully taken into custody.

12. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Ms. Gu Xiufang Taken into Custody
Ms. Gu Xiufang is a teacher at an elementary school affiliated with the Jinan Steel Company. She clarified the truth to her students and was taken into custody by officers from the Jinan Steel Police Station. Her whereabouts are unknown.
13. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Elderly Ms. Qui Ruiying from Anqiu City Taken into Custody
At 8:00 a.m. on May 26, 2007, Ms. Hui Ruiying, a practitioner in her seventies from Anqiu City, clarified the truth in a farm market. Officers from the Dongguan Police Station took her into custody and unlawfully searched her home. Ms. Hui is being held at the Anqiu City Detention Center. A few days after she returned home by righteous thoughts on June 25, the police took her into custody again.

At noon on June 26, 2007, half a dozen officers from the Gongzhuling City Police Station, the State Security Division, and the Shuanglong Town Police Station took Ms. Geng Wanying into custody in Shuanglong Town.

16. [Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Zhou Houchun and Wife Ms. Yang Congmei Taken into Custody
Ms. Yang Congmei from Jinsha Village in Jiuchi Town, Pengzhou City operates a hair salon in the Sanhechang area in Xindu District. She started practicing Falun Dafa not too long ago. At around 10:00 a.m. on April 4, 2007, a dozen police officers from the Xindu District Police Department, the State Security Division, and the local police station broke into the hair saloon and pressed Ms. Yang to the ground. She was taken to the Chengdu City Police Station and tortured during interrogation. The torture continues to this day.
Ms. Yang's husband, Mr. Zhou Houchun, worked odd jobs outside Sichuan Province. He rushed home upon learning this. He was unlawfully taken away the next day by officers from the Pengzhou City Political and Judiciary Committee, the State Security Division, the 610 Office and the Jiuchi Police Station. Mr. Zhou has remained in custody since.

19. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Shi Guilan from Anqiu City Sent to Forced Labor Camp Again
On April 17, 2007, Ms. Shi Guilan, a Falun Gong practitioner from Dongjizhuang Village in Hongshagou Town, Anqiu City was unlawfully arrested at home. The police also searched her home. Ms. Shi has been taken to the Wangcun Women's Forced Labor Camp to serve a forced labor term.
Prior to this, Ms. Shi Guilan had been arrested, tortured, brainwashed, fined, and otherwise implicated many times. In 2001, she was sent to a forced labor camp for a 3-year term. On March 17, 2006, the police unlawfully detained her while she was at home. She was held in custody for a month and the police extorted a large amount of cash from her family.

On June 20, 2007, Xie Huitao (male) from the Anping County Urban Administration Office unlawfully took into custody an elderly female practitioner in her sixties. She has been held at the county detention center.

21. [Hong'an County, Hubei Province] Police Break into Practitioners' Homes and Beat and Arrest Them
At around 1:00 a.m. on June 23, 2007, Hong'an County Police broke into some practitioners' homes. The officers viciously beat the practitioners and took many practitioners into custody including Ms. Liu Hongsu, Ms. Wu Suhua, Ms. Qin Hongzhuan, Ms. Li Xing, and a dozen others.
22. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Ms. Lu Shufen Taken into Custody
At around 7:30 p.m. on June 21, 2007, officials from the Mianqi Residential Committee in Shijiazhuang City yelled for someone to open the door of practitioner Ms. Lu Shufen's home. Six police officers who followed the officials in a van stormed in and took away Ms. Lu. At around 9:00 p.m. the officers came back in a black car and unlawfully searched Ms. Lu's home, confiscating a notebook computer and other personal property.
Ms. Lu Shufen is being unlawfully held in an isolated building in the Shijiazhuang City Forced Labor Camp. The labor camp authorities have recently designated this building for holding practitioners unlawfully taken into custody and have relocated other inmates to other buildings.
23. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Officers at Jinxiu Police Station Threaten to Take Ms. Zhang Xuemei to a Forced Labor Camp
On June 16, 2007, practitioner Ms. Zhang Xuemei from Dalian City was unlawfully detained in her rented home near the Dalian Airport Section of Honggang Road. It was reported that officers from the Jinxiu Police Station in Shahekou District, Dalian City also took away several other people who were in the same house as Ms. Zhang. The police confiscated Falun Dafa books as well. Ms. Zhang Xuemei is being unlawfully held at the Yaojia Detention Center in Dalian under criminal charges.

24. [Linyi City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Ms. Pei Linying Taken into Custody the Day Her Forced Labor Term Ended
Practitioner Ms. Pei Linying was a teacher at the Linyi City Machinery Technical School. She had been unlawfully sentenced to two years of forced labor. On or around June 12, 2007, she was released, and before she could even see her family, members of the Linyi City 610 Office took her directly to the Linyi City Brainwashing Center. Her family's request to see her was unreasonably denied. Her mother, who is close to 80 years old, was anxious to see Ms. Pei.
In addition, practitioner Mr. Wang Jisheng is also being held at the brainwashing center located within the Linyi City Hydraulic Technical School.
25. [Yi County, Hebei Province] Practitioner Mr. Jia Dong Unlawfully Sentenced to Forced Labor
At around 1:00 p.m. on April 17, 2007, Mr. Jia Dong, 40, a practitioner from Songshan Village in Xishanbei Township, Yi County was arrested by four police officers. The officers also searched his home, confiscating a photocopier, a tape recorder, a set of Fa Lectures, six copies of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, and other accessories and supplies; the total value was about 4,000 yuan. Mr. Jia Dong is being held at the Balizhuang Forced Labor Camp in Baoding City, serving an 18-month forced labor term.
26. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Ma Cuilian, Her Sister, and Her Mother Unlawfully Taken into Custody
Practitioners Ms. Ma Cuilian, her sister, and her mother were taken into custody at their home by the Dalian City police at noon on June 9, 2007.
Recently, the police installed 27 surveillance cameras near the Baiyun Residential Community.

On May 19, 2007, Ms. Chen Xiuwen, a Falun Gong practitioner from Anqiu City was taken away from her home by officers from the Dongguan Police Station. She has been unlawfully held at the Anqiu Detention Center for over a month.

After practitioner Ms. Chen Man was unlawfully taken to the Erzhigou Women's Forced Labor Camp, practitioner Ms. Yang Huili helped Ms. Chen to get out of the forced labor camp on June 24, 2007: the day Ms. Yang's forced labor term ended. At around 11:00, when Ms. Yang Huili was trying to hinder authorities from taking pictures, she was taken by members of the Jiang'an District 610 Office to the Chenjiaji Brainwashing Center.

Ms. Yang Fan, 48, is a practitioner from Xicheng District, Beijing. She was arrested in mid-May 2007. It has been reported that she has been unlawfully sentenced to two years of forced labor.

On June 21, 2007, several officers from the Songlin Police Station in Xiangyang District went to practitioner Mr. Li Xuejie's home to harass him. On June 24, the director of the Songlin Police Station and an officer went to Mr. Li's home again. The two officers confiscated six DVDs and several copies of truth-clarifying materials.

33. [Xichang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Lai Yuwen and Other Practitioners Face Illegal Forced Labor Terms
It has been learned that the Xichang City 610 Office and subordinate organizations were planning to unlawfully sentence each of the three practitioners, Ms. Lai Yuwen, Ms. Wu Shilian, and Ms. Tang Qiong, to 18 months of forced labor. At the same time, they were planning to extort money from practitioners' families under the threat of the pending forced labor terms. The three practitioners were arrested on May 24.

Mr. Zhang Lichun, a practitioner from the Jiaonan area in Qingdao City, has been held at the No. 8 Division of the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp. This division is where practitioners who are firm in their belief are held. Mr. Zhang Lichun was unlawfully arrested in Wendeng City on June 23, 2006. After being in custody in the detention center for about a week, the Wendeng City police transferred him to the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp.
