(Clearwisdom.net) At about 9:00 a.m. on June 16, 2007, Cao Shihe, the head of Lingshan No. 3 Village, and village CCP secretary Zhang Weiguang, along with Dong Quanqi, director of the Comprehensive Administration Office of Lingshan Town, and three police officers from Lingshan Police Station, led the way to Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Zhang Xiuying's house.

When they climbed into the fenced yard, Ms. Zhang Xiuying stayed in the house with her door closed. When she asked what they were doing there, Dong Quanqi said, "Somebody reported that you had distributed flyers." The police kicked the door but failed to get in, and then called Chen Yucheng, the director of the Lingshan Police Station. Chen ordered them to smash down the door.

Dong Quanqi and the others then broke into the house. They beat the old lady to the ground and dragged her to a police vehicle. Ms. Zhang kept shouting "Falun Dafa is good!" and was exposing the atrocity being perpetrated by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) regime. Later, the authorities searched Zhang's house and confiscated property, making a huge mess in her home. The kitchen range was destroyed and the windows were broken.

Another practitioner, Jiang Zhengfang from Lanbuwan Village, Lingshan Town, was arrested on the same day.

To date, the whereabouts of Ms. Zhang Xiuying is still unclear. Staff from the local government also began to harass her son, who operates a shop.

Since the persecution began on July 20, 1999, Ms. Zhang Xiuying has experienced continuous persecution by the CCP regime. In December 1999, Ms. Zhang and several fellow practitioners went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. Consequently, they were arrested in Beijing and repatriated back to Jimo City. They were locked up in a nursing home for further persecution. Thereafter, Ms. Zhang has been illegally detained several times at the nursing home and detention center for appealing for Falun Gong. During this period, she was beaten by Wu Hailong, the director of the Cultural Station of Lingshan Town, and Cao Shixun, the CCP secretary of the Lingshan No. 3 Village.

On March 4, 2000, Zhang Xiuying and many other practitioners did group exercises together on a hill in Lingshan Town. At about 10:00 a.m., they were surrounded by fifty police officers from the Jimo City Police Station, and all of them were taken away. Some were sent to a forced labor camp, and Ms. Zhang and other practitioners were confined in the nursing home for twenty days.

In mid-2000, Ms. Zhang and several practitioners attempted to walk to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong, but they were headed off in Tianjin City. They were held in detention for two weeks and then repatriated to Lingshan Town.

Ms. Zhang then had to become homeless for nearly a year to avoid further persecution. After she got home, the local government attempted to arrest her again. On September 29, 2002, Ms. Zhang and her son Fang Shaoliang were taken by Dong Quanqi to the Qingdao Brainwashing Center, where she held a hunger strike for nearly two months. She was then transferred to Wangcun Forced Labor Camp of Zibo City for one more month of persecution.

In April 2004, Ms. Zhang Xiuying was arrested again when she distributed truth-clarifying materials. Subsequently, she was sentenced to two years of forced labor and sent to Zibo City's Wangcun Forced Labor Camp, where she was tortured for a long time just because she refused to renounce her belief.

Two years later, she was released, but she remained under surveillance by the CCP regime. On June 10, 2007, three staff members from the local 610 Office went her home and wanted to ask her some questions, but Ms. Zhang did not let them in. She exposed the persecution that the CCP regime had committed over the years to her and her family. When they left, they threatened, "We will be back to get you."

People who were involved in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners and have received karmic retributions can be found everywhere in Lingshan Town. The former director of Lingshan Police Station Liu Qiang actively persecuted Falun Gong practitioners after July 20, 1999 and died of cancer. The former director of Lingshan Town Cultural Station Wu hailong, who had beaten several Dafa practitioners, died from a car accident in 2002. Pan Fengzong, an employee of the Lingshan Town Legal Department, hated Falun Gong practitioners very much and assisted his wife Hou Shuyun (CCP secretary of Shiwang Village) to persecute them. He died of a brain hemorrhage in 2004. Cao Shixun, former CCP Secretary of the Lingshan No. 3 Village, Jiang Shunzhi, former head of the No 3 Village, and Zhang Xianliang, former public security director, have also received karmic retribution because of their roles in the persecution.
