Mr. Liu Zhenchang is imprisoned at the First Section of the First Division in the Jiamusi City Prison, Heilongjiang Province. He has held a hunger strike for more than one month protesting the confiscation of his Dafa materials by guards. He was taken to the Jiamusi City Hospital when his body exhibited illness symptoms.
On July 13, 2007, the Head Guard Lu Zhipeng and Political Instructor Su Jiafeng from the First Squadron of the First Division beat Mr. Liu at the hospital until his eyes were bruised.

Mr. Yang Jinwei from Changchun City was taken to the Weizigou Forced Labor Camp on June 7, 2007. He refused to wear a labor camp vest and was beaten and then locked into a solitary compartment. He used to have pulmonary tuberculosis, which was cured through practicing Falun Gong. Mr. Yang has been locked up in a small room after being locked into the solitary compartment for 15 days.

Ms. Zhang Yaru is "illegally imprisoned" at the Jinzhou Detention Center, Dalian City.
5. [Zhuanghe City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Ms. Xie Guihua Sentenced to Two Years in a Forced Labor Camp
Ms. Xie Guihua from Mingyang Town, Zhuanghe City was arrested and detained at the Zhuanghe City detention center on July 6, 2007. The guards beat her because she refused to follow their orders and exposed the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP's) persecution of Falun Gong to the detainees and guards. On July 11, 2007, five days after her arrest, she was taken to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp, Liaoning Province for two years of forced labor.

6. [Beijing] Practitioner Mr. Xie Yuanbing Sentenced
Mr. Xie Yuanbing was reported to the police and arrested when he was clarifying the facts about Falun Gong to people at the Tanzhe Temple, Beijing in October last year. After being imprisoned at the Mentougou Police Department, Beijing for six months, he was illegally sentenced to four-and-a-half years in prison.

On the evening of July 18, 2007, practitioner Ms. Majiying was forcibly taken away from her home by the police. The details are under investigation.
8. [Qingzhou City, Shandong Province] The Whereabouts of Practitioner Ms. Sun Aiying Unknown after Her Arrest
At noon on July 17, 2007, Xu Wende from the Qingzhou City 610 Office and police from the Tanfang Town Police Station, Qingzhou City arrested Ms. Sun Aiying in her home at Zhangyang Village, Tanfang Town. Currently, Ms. Sun Aiying's whereabouts are unknown. The homes of practitioners Ms. Zhang Yunhua and Ms. Yao Wenrong were ransacked on the same day.
When police officers attempted to arrest Ms. Sun Aiying, her family tried to stop them. The police officers also arrested her father, who is not a practitioner and detained him at the police station for one day. Ms. Sun's family was forced to pay 1,000 yuan before he was released.
9. [Chongqing City] Practitioner Ms. Wang Wanxin Arrested Again
Mr. Wang Wanxin from Shapingba District, Chongqing City was arrested on the street at 9 a.m. on June 1, 2007. He escaped at 8 p.m. that evening. His wife, Ms. Yu Qingzhen, was arrested on the same day. She was imprisoned at the Shapingba District Detention Center. She escaped on July 5, 2007. Mr. Wang Wanxin was arrested again by the police who staked out at his home on July 5, 2007. He is currently imprisoned at the Shapingba District Detention Center.
10. [Ziyang City, Sichuan Province] Practitioner Mr. Yang Pingqing Tortured
Mr. Yang Pingqing from Danshan Town, Ziyang City was reported to the police and arrested when clarifying the facts about Falun Gong on Qingyang Street in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. At the Jinsha Police Station, Qingyang District, Chengdu City, police cuffed his hands behind his back onto a chair and also hung him in the air for more than one hour while asking him where the information materials came from. Mr. Yang refused to answer. Police officers beat him severely, pulled his hair and banged his head against the wall. The torture lasted for more than an hour. Mr. Yang's face was swollen and his feet had black and purple bruises. Police officers also ransacked his home but did not find anything. At 11 p.m. that night, Mr. Yang Pingqing was taken to the Chengdu City Detention Center and detained for 15 days.

11. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Additional Information About the Torture of Practitioner Ms. Shi Chunlian
Around 7 p.m. on July 5, 2007, more than twenty people including staff from the Handan City National Security Team, Handan City Police Department, Ganshan Police Department, Handan City, and Luochengtou Police Station surrounded Ms. Shi Chunlian's home. They broke into her home and ransacked it, taking away a computer, all Dafa books, information materials, hard disks, flash drives, cell phones, VCDs and cash. They also videotaped her home. When the police car arrived at the Luochengtou Police Station, a policeman hit Ms. Shi's head so hard that she went unconscious. Around 11 p.m., she started to shake and had convulsive seizures. The next day, she was taken to the Handan City Number Two Detention Center. But the detention center refused to accept her because she had heart problems. Later she was taken to the Number Two Detention Center three more times but each time the detention center refused to accept her. On July 7, she had heart problems again, with irregular heart beats, convulsive seizures, and shaking. She was then taken to a hospital.

Around 5:30 p.m. on July 17, 2007, Ms. Qi He from Congtai District, Handan City was arrested and her home ransacked. On the same day, several other practitioners were harassed by the police at their homes.
Around noon, July 19, 2007, the Section Chief of the Political Security Section, Congtai District Police Department, An Zhenzhi led some policemen to arrest Mr. Xie Yuanchao at his home.

Ms. Ou Caihuan, a middle school teacher at the Zhaoqing City Number Twelve Middle School, Guangdong Province, has been detained for a week.
14. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Mr. Hao Hucheng Sentenced
Mr. Hao Hucheng, in his twenties, lives at the Madiantou Village, Wu'an Town, Handan City. He has been working in Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province. Before the Chinese New Year 2007, the local police arrested him. Recently, they sentenced him to three years in prison.
15. [Beijing] Additional Information about the Arrest of Practitioner Mr. Liu Yonghui's Family
Mr. Liu Yonghui's whole family were arrested earlier. Currently, Mr. Liu and Ms. Yang Tiezhen have been released. Ms. Di Huiling was forced to have an abortion on May 1, 2007 and released to go home afterwards. However, she was arrested again in early July and her current whereabouts are unknown.

Mr. Dai Shichao was arrested at his shoe repair shop by five policemen on June 29, 2007. His home was ransacked. He is imprisoned at the Zhenlai County Police Department No. 2 Prison, Jilin Province.

Police officer from the Pingdu City arrested Ms. Zhang Yuemei. Then they broke into her home and ransacked it, taking away Teacher's portrait and three bags of Dafa books and VCDs. Ms. Zhang has been imprisoned at the Pingdu City Detention Center for over 15 days. The police are planning to send her to a forced labor camp.

19. [Taihe County, Anhui Province] Practitioner Mr. Tian Xianlong and Others Detained
The Taihe County National Security Team has illegally arrested and detained Mr. Tian Xianlong, his wife, daughter Jingjing, and others including Ms. Dong Fang and Ms. Li Aiyun since May 25, 2007.
20. [Wuning County, Jiangxi Province] Mr. Zhang Lingao and Five Other Practitioners Arrested
At 9 a.m. on July 5, 2007, more than a dozen policemen from the Wuning County National Security Team, Huangduan Police Station, Wuning County, and Shidu Police Station, Wuning County drove to Xinfeng Village, Shidu Township. They broke into practitioners' homes and arrested Mr. Zhan Lingao and his wife Ms. Zhou Minxiao, Mr. Tang Guoliang and his wife Ms. Zou Saiyun, Mr. Zhang Chishou, and Ms. Wang Minxian. That afternoon, Ms. Zou Saiyun and Ms. Wang Minxian were released.
On July 12, Ms. Zhou Minxiao was released after being detained at the Wuning County Detention Center for a week.
Mr. Zhang Lingao, Mr. Tang Guoliang, and Mr. Zhang Chishou are still imprisoned and tortured at the Wuning County Detention Center.
21. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Three Practitioners Imprisoned at the Laodaohe Brainwashing Center, Changsha City
Three practitioners Mr. Yi Mingshan, Ms. Zhang Zhilan and Ms. Huang Jing are still imprisoned at the Laodaohe Brainwashing Center. Mr. Yi is over 70 years old and vomited blood due to the abuse he suffered. After being taken to the Changsha Central Hospital for treatment, he was taken back to the brainwashing center for further torture.
22. [Shangzhi City, Heilongjiang Province] Three Practitioners Arrested and Taken to a Forced Labor Camp
Ms. Cui Xia, Ms. Xu Li and Ms. Jia Xinghua from Shangzhi City were reported to the police and arrested while distributing truth-clarification materials on June 26, 2007. During the arrest, police officers kicked Ms. Jia and broke her back. She is not able to take care of herself now.
At the Shangzhi City Number Two Detention Center, police officers from the National Security Team pressured them to write statements renouncing Falun Gong and did not allow their family members to visit them. Fifteen days later, they were taken to the Qianjin Forced Labor Camp, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province.
23. [Yanji City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Ms. Zhang Shuhui Sentenced to One Year and Three Months of Forced Labor
On June 13, 2007, Ms. Zhang Shuhui, an elementary school teacher at the Xiaohelong Village Elementary School, Yanji City was arrested by the staff from the Yanji City Political and Legal Committee. A few days later, she was sentenced to one year and three months of forced labor. She is now at the Changchun City Heizuizi Women's Forced Labor Camp. Her family members went to the forced labor camp, but were not allowed to see her.
