Revered Master, dear fellow practitioners,

I'd like to report to you my experience of clarifying the truth and encouraging fellow Chinese to withdraw from the CCP at the Mid-Level Hill tourist site in Hong Kong.

There is a famous place on Stubbs Road in Hong Kong where tourists come to see the skyline of the city in the evenings. It is very small, but every day there are dozens of buses carrying Mainland tourists there. Sometimes there are close to 100 buses a day. Because there is no parking, tourists are dropped off there and typically only have 15 minutes to walk around before they get picked up again. Practitioners have clarified the truth to tourists at this spot, rain or shine, for more than five years already.

I am one of the practitioners helping out at this tourist spot. I am over 60 years of age and I have family members living in Hong Kong. So, over the years I frequently went back to Hong Kong to participate in activities to validate the Fa and save sentient beings. I am grateful for Master arranging this opportunity for me. Last November, I finally settled back in Hong Kong. Although I could go to the tourist spot closer to my home, I chose to go to the lookout place because they needed more people there. While it takes me about 2 hours round trip to get to the spot, I feel very fortunate, so I cherished this opportunity deeply.

Master said:

"The biggest thing that needs to be done at present is to figure out how to save even more of the world's people! Save all beings! This has become a monumental effort for Dafa disciples." (Fa Teaching at the 2007 New York Fa Conference)

We are able to reach so many precious Chinese people and have no language barrier. Depending on where they come from, we switch between Cantonese and Mandarin freely to encourage them to withdraw from the CCP. From just a few successful cases in the earlier days to dozens of successful cases a day recently, I have been continuously adjusting my frame of mind, studying the Fa and sending righteous thoughts. I have also asked Master to give me strength and wisdom. Saving people is all I can think of. I feel I am having fewer and fewer obstacles and becoming more committed and confident. The number of tourists quitting the CCP is growing. Sometimes when we have enough practitioners around, we take turns sending righteous thoughts to eliminate all the evil elements that are preventing people from hearing the truth. We have much less interference when we do a good job of cleaning up the field through sending righteous thoughts. Tourists will then be more willing to listen to what we need to say. When we are in a good state of mind, almost everyone we talk to agrees to sever ties with the CCP. Sometimes, after one person understands, he will get his friends over so we can explain to his friends. There were occasions when all the tourists on the bus agreed to withdraw from the CCP. Over four or five hours, a few of us together sometimes could successfully ask as many as eighty plus people to withdraw. Normally we can do between 30 and 50. Later, we had a book recording all the names and figures. According to the records, from 8 Dec 2006 to 12 July 2007, a total of 5,416 people have withdrawn from the CCP and its related political organizations.

One day, a bus arrived and the passengers went straight to watch the skyline and take pictures. Shortly thereafter, their bus came back for them and they proceeded to get on it. They all looked like government officials. I said to myself, "I cannot let those officials waste their trip like that. I should go talk to them." The bus door was open at that point. I stood by the door and said loudly, "Gentlemen, you came here and didn't even want to listen to us. You should really cherish this opportunity. Heaven is eliminating the CCP. Big catastrophes will happen. It may be in the form of a tsunami, epidemic or earthquake. It won't matter what your rank is or how much money you have, as long as you have not withdrawn from the CCP, you will not be able to escape. You once held up your fist tight and pledged your life to the Party; it would be a problem if you don't declare that you are no longer part of it. Now more than 23 million people have made such a declaration, including many high ranking government officials who are using pseudonyms. The root of the evil party has been dug out, what are you waiting for?"

I knew they were listening inside, so I continued loudly: "You must all know that even the big brother, the Soviet Union, dissolved. The communist Eastern Bloc also disappeared. The Berlin Wall collapsed. Why did all that happen? The heavens wanted to eliminate it, and nothing could stand in the way. Now, the only remaining communist countries are Cuba, North Korea, Vietnam and China--how pitiful! When the CCP crumbles, they will all be finished. The CCP has done so many bad things since it seized power. It killed 80 million fellow Chinese even during peace time. Now they are slicing open the chests of Falun Gong practitioners so they can take out the internal organs and sell them for profit. The CCP is against humanity, and now heaven wants to eliminate it. We should go with heaven's will, and protect our lives and safety. You can use pseudonyms to announce your withdrawal from the CCP; it is convenient and safe, and you don't need to spend a dime. After you have announced the withdrawals, you can still work as an executive and earn a living. Not only do you have nothing to lose, you will also gain a large amount of good fortune and a wonderful future."

Some of them were nodding in agreement. At that moment, the door closed. I immediately said to myself: "No, this is not acceptable. I must get them to withdraw." The door opened again because they found out one passenger had not returned to the bus yet. I continued, "You don't need to worry about what China is going to do if the CCP no longer exists. There are so many countries doing beautifully without the communist party. Why is it that so many Chinese are trying so hard to go abroad? Isn't that just because other countries have no communist party but only freedom and democracy?" They smiled. "Moreover, who are the ancestors of communist party? Marx, Engels, Lenin--which one of them is Chinese? It is an evil specter from the West. Can it represent China? What it has brought is violence, massacres and catastrophe. Are you willing to let your future generations call the communists our ancestors? You are all dignified sons and daughters of the Chinese nation. Those who don't want become descendants of Marx and Lenin, now is the opportunity. I will help you come up with a pseudonym, you are so and so...if you agree please nod your head, and you will be out of harm's way." Five or six people sitting in the front all nodded. I thanked the tour guide and driver. The door closed again. As I went around bus to leave, I saw people in the second half of the bus looking at me and nodding. One of them pointed at his nose meaning, "Count me in!"I counted a total of 11 people. I was so happy for all of them who were being saved!

Often during truth clarification, I hear people say: "Now the CCP has improved and you should allow it to correct its mistakes." I would respond: "The nature of the Party is evil. It is evil and poisonous. If it ever did something good, it didn't do it out of concern for the people. They did it to prolong their government and for their own benefit. It may look as if it is doing well, but in reality it is facing many crises. Corruption is rampant and the country is very unstable. Many corrupt officials have sent their families abroad with ill-gotten wealth. Jiang Zemin and his son alone reportedly transferred hundreds of millions of RMB to overseas banks."

Practitioners' words carry energy. When you only have the pure thought of clarifying the truth and saving people, the words you speak will touch people's hearts. Don't worry if you get rejected and laughed at. As long as you steady your heart and continue to talk calmly, you will see the changes in them. I often hear them say: "Right! Right! You have said it very well! I will withdraw. I will withdraw!" Some also said, "It would be nice if you could go to the mainland and tell that to people there." I told them, "There are people doing that in Mainland China. You have now understood the truth. Tell it to your family and friends when you go home. You will be saving them too!" Quite a few people shook my hand or hugged me to express gratitude after they announced their withdrawals. I will typically encourage them to say "Falun Dafa Hao! Zhen-Shan-Ren Hao!" regularly because that will bring them good fortune.

During the process of clarifying the truth, Master often creates chances to expose my attachments. Just before July 1, the CCP sent many spies to Hong Kong to disrupt and even damage our truth clarification sites. One day, the rain was heavy. For a while, there were no buses coming, and hence no tourists. A spy came by and started taking pictures of the site. He also took pictures of practitioners who were sending righteous thoughts. I knew right away that he was a spy. I started thinking: "I cannot let him take pictures; otherwise I might have trouble entering into Hong Kong." (I hold a foreign passport.) When the man turned his camera toward me, I immediately covered myself with an umbrella because I was denied entry more than two years ago. I watched him leaving after taking all the pictures yet I didn't say anything. Later, other practitioners pointed it out to me that I should have clarified the truth to him, stopped him from committing sins again and therefore saved him. I also saw the omission in me. I was being selfish and had fear: How can you save people without righteous thoughts? We have Master, and we have the Fa. How is it possible for the spy to move you?

Two days later two different spies came. Again, they took pictures of practitioners and our exhibits. A fellow practitioner also started taking pictures of them. I told myself that these spies are sentient beings as well. Master has given them many chances. If they understand the truth and give up doing the bad things, they will have a future all the same. I approached one of them and began to talk: "I don't care who you are and what you are here for. You are here now and that is destiny. You have the right to be informed." Pointing at our exhibits, I told him about the evil deeds done by the CCP, including live organ harvesting. I explained to him what Falun Gong is, and the stories about the ancient stone which has the characters of "CCP dies." I also told him the principles of good being rewarded with good and bad punished with bad fortune. I gave him real examples. He was also told 23 million fellow Chinese had severed their ties with the CCP. He remained quiet, and kept looking at those exhibits through his dark glasses. But from the changes in his facial expression, I knew he was listening carefully and his heart was moved. I told him everything he should know. At the end, I said: "Young man, you are part of the hope of our nation. Heaven wants to eliminate the evil Party, but the Chinese nation is here to stay. You are so young, don't go down with it. For the sake of your own future and our nation's, get out of it quickly. Now is the chance. I will give you a pseudonym, 'bright', and you can announce your withdrawal under that name. I hope that you will step into a bright and a wonder future!" This "bright" young man nodded his head heavily and seriously. I was deeply touched, and grateful for Master's immense benevolence and the boundless power of the Fa.

The entire course of truth clarification is at the same time one of cultivation. No matter how well or how badly one has done, there are always elements of cultivation and issues of improvement. If we develop the attachment of validating oneself, our omission will be exploited. One time, a good number of Taiwanese practitioners came to help. I wanted to show them how I would clarify the truth and encourage people to withdraw. Just after I uttered a few words to those tourists standing in front of our TV, watching the video program, they immediately cursed at me--in front of all the Taiwanese practitioners. Normally when I encountered such a response, I would stop them with righteous thoughts. This time, however, my mind was blank. No words came to my mind. I knew that happened because of my attachments of showing off and validating myself. Afterwards, I felt I was doing so poorly and was so far away from what Master's requirement. Master said:

"... you must first put cultivating yourself well as top priority; only then can the things that you do be more sacred, for then you are a Dafa disciple, and are doing things as a Dafa disciple to validate the Fa." (Fa Teaching at the 2007 New York Fa Conference)

I really should cultivate every thought of mine.

Over the course of clarifying the truth at the tourist site, we are often asked by police officers to show our IDs for them to write down. Sometimes security guards also interfere with our activities. There are a lot of mosquitoes and bugs there, and family members may complain from time to time. There are many tests. But as long as we study the Fa well and handle things in accordance with the Fa, some of those can be rectified. If we think righteously and act righteously, this interference will amount to nothing.

Practitioners at the site work very hard. Some need to go to work, some need to help distribute newspaper in the morning, and some are involved in other special projects. Western practitioners from other countries have also contributed from their heart. Every day they prepare materials for distribution, carry heavy batteries and other equipment, drive and help us pack. We are truly one body.

There also exists some weaknesses. We are always short of man power. Many times, only two or three practitioners show up at the site. It is regrettable to see so many mainlanders come and go without having a chance to chat with them. Master said that he'd be happy if we could save half of the Chinese people. Every day there are thousands of people coming here, and we are only able to help dozens of them withdraw. What should we do? We can only work harder and more solidly, saving as many as possible.

I only want to save more people! As soon as I returned to Hong Kong, Master arranged a group of friends and relatives coming to Hong Kong to visit me. They withdrew from the evil party and some of them started cultivation. More recently, Master helped me get in touch with over 40 of my old school mates and teachers, many of whom are members of the evil party. In addition, I all of sudden received dozens of phone numbers of my good friends from the past. I deeply feel that Master is encouraging me. I am trying my best to call them up and ask them to withdraw. Right now, some of them already have.

Master said:

"Dafa disciples are to fulfill the things that they are supposed to do! This holds true no matter where they are. The vows that you once made must be fulfilled, and the beings that you need to save must be saved!" (Fa Teaching at the 2007 New York Fa Conference)

I truly sensed how heavy Fa-rectification period Dafa Disciples' duties are. We have to figure out how we can save more sentient beings within such limited time so that we are worthy of the benevolent salvation of Master and His earnest expectations of us.
