At 4:30 p.m. more than 500 Falun Gong practitioners from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and other places, together with people who support withdrawal from the CCP, started marching from Victoria Park. The Divine Land Marching Band led the march. As July 1 is the "Global Quitting the CCP and Disintegrating the CCP Day," Falun Gong practitioners and their supporters held all kinds of long vertical flags, banners and signs to convey a message to the public about the more than 23 million people quitting the CCP and its affiliated organizations in mainland China. They also called on the general public to see clearly the nature of the CCP's evil specter, refuse the lies and violence, and quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
Participants of the march included a number of Taiwanese Falun Gong practitioners who managed breaking through the blockade of the CCP's blacklist. The practitioner who acts as conductor of the marching band was denied entry. Mr. Chen who deputized the conductor of the band said that so many Hong Kong people came out to oppose the CCP, the CCP's so-called "one country, two systems" is a fake. It took over Hong Kong for ten years, which resulted in turning it into "one country, one system." So many people came out to support this march, which shows that Hong Kong people attach great importance to human rights and safeguard freedom. When they saw Falun Gong practitioners, they gave them a thumbs-up.
Taiwanese practitioner Ms. Zhou said the CCP has ruined all Chinese people, so all Chinese people should stand up to quicken the disappearance of this tyranny as soon as possible, so that the Chinese people will have a better future. This is not only a matter of Hong Kong's people, but all those who are concerned about China, and all the Chinese people should stand up.
As of July 1, it has been confirmed that more than 800 Taiwanese Falun Gong practitioners were deported, refused visas or refused boarding and were unable to enter Hong Kong. The incident clearly indicated that the Hong Kong authorities implemented the CCP's blacklist. Ms. Song from Macao said that they repeatedly asked the immigration officers if there is a "blacklist" and if they were denied entry because they are Falun Gong practitioners. Those officers did not argue or object. They did not answer the question, so they believed that they were denied entry because they are Falun Gong practitioners. Besides Taiwanese practitioners, practitioners from Macao were also unable to enter. This is further evidence to the existence of the "blacklist."
Democratic Party member and vice president of Kowloon District Council Chen Ka-wai participated in the July 1 march. The CCP authorities confiscated his Home Visit Permit (HVP) recently. He is therefore unable to enter mainland China. He said that the Hong Kong government has no reason to refuse entry of Falun Gong practitioners who have always conducted themselves peacefully.
At 6:30 p.m., Falun Gong practitioners marched to the destination, and the Divine Land Marching Band performed for a period of time to repay citizens' support.
