(Clearwisdom.net) At around 6:00 a.m. on September 12, 2007, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Li Ruifeng, who was born as a deaf mute from Jining City, Shandong Province, was arrested by police from Hongxingxilu Police Station and Central Region Police Station in Jining City. At the same time, his 70-year-old father and son were also arrested. The police also confiscated a computer, printer, copier, copies of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, and other Falun Dafa materials from his home, which filled up a whole truck.
After practicing Falun Dafa, Mr. Li's hearing problems improved. He could even communicate with other people with the help of a hearing aid. Before the persecution of Falun Dafa started on July 20, 1999, his story was spread widely in Jining City. It was referred to as the miracle that happened to a deaf mute who could talk after practicing Falun Dafa.
After the persecution began in 1999, Mr. Li Ruifeng went to Beijing many times to appeal for Falun Dafa, trying to use his personal experience to tell people that Falun Dafa is great, hoping that people would no longer listen to the fabricated lies of the CCP. For this he was detained many times by members of the Chinese Communist Party, handcuffed and brutally beaten.
At about the same time, on September 12, 2007, a 70-year-old lady named Zuo and Ms. Wang Huimin were arrested by police from the Yushan Police Station. Another practitioner, whose name is still being investigated, was also arrested by the Jiyang Police Station.
The parents of Mr. Li Ruifeng have been released. Ms. Wang Huimin has also returned home.
