Around midnight on August 20, 2007, instructor Liu Xu led policeman Ge Bo and five other policemen from the Xiaolingzi Police Station in Jinzhou City and broke into Dafa practitioner Mr. Wang Xiaomin's home to forcibly take him away. Now Wang Xiaomin is being illegally detained at the Jinzhou City No. 1 Detention Center.

2. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Gao Chunzi and Two Other Practitioners Face Illegal Sentencing
Harbin Dafa practitioners Ms. Gao Chunzi (66 years old), Ms. Yan Shuyun (67 years old) and Ms. Wang Xiuzhi (71 years old) are retired workers of the Acheng Relay Factory. On May 8, 2007, the police of Liaodian Township, Acheng City arrested them and detained them in the Acheng No. 2 Detention Center. On July 31, they were transferred to the Xiangfang District Detention Center in Harbin City. The Harbin Police and Justice Departments plan to illegally sentence the three elderly Dafa practitioners in the near future.

3. [Nanning City, Guangxi Province] Dafa Practitioner Huang Xiuping Arrested
Dafa practitioner Ms. Huang Xiuping, 50, is an employee of the Nanning Local Product Company in Guangxi Province. On the morning of August 17, 2007, the police illegally arrested her and took away a computer and truth-clarification materials from her home.
4. [Tongzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Supplementary Information Regarding the Persecution of Zhang Yonglan and Three Dafa Practitioners
Around 4 or 5 a.m. on August 16, 2007, a dozen policemen stealthily entered the workshop run by Ms. Zhang Yonglan and her three sisters. The police climbed over the wall and entered the property and workshop. They took away Dafa practitioners Ms. Zhang Yongyun, Ms. Shi Meilian, Ms. Zhang Yongqun, Ms. Zhang Yonglan, Ms. Xu Hui and a practitioner who cooked for the workshop.
Zhang Yonglan and the chef practitioner are being detained in the Red Cross building in Jinshao. Zhang Yongyun, Zhang Yongqun and Shi Meilian are being detained and persecuted at the Huade Hotel, which is located west of the Jinsha Shifan Bridge.

5. [Jilin Province] On July 30, 2007, Dafa practitioner Ms. Xu Yaxuan Was Arrested; She Is Currently Detained at Yushu Detention Center
6. [Wanyuan City, Sichuan Province] Hu Yu and Hu Xiaojiang Arrested
On the evening of August 13, 2007, Wanyuan Dafa practitioners Mr. Hu Yu and Mr. Hu Xiaojiang were reported when they went to Changshi Township, Wanyuan City to distribute truth-clarification materials. On the next morning, the police took them away and then illegally searched their homes. The police confiscated a desktop computer and a laptop from Hu Yu's home, as well as one computer, two cell phones, and about 20,000 yuan in cash from the company where Hu Xiaojing works. They also took all Dafa books and truth-clarification materials from Hu Xiaojiang's home. Now the two practitioners are being detained in the Wanyuan City Detention Center.
7. [Qi County, Henan Province] Liu Jibin and Five Other Practitioners Detained
On the evening of August 12, the Kaifeng National Security Bureau and the National Security Section of the Qi County Police Department jointly arrested Dafa practitioner Mr. Liu Jibin. The police also illegally searched his home and took away Dafa books and other property. At the same time, Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhang Shufan (about 60 years old), Mr. Zhang Mingtang (about 60 years old), Mr. Zhang Mingtong (about 60 years old) and Mr. Yang Zhanying (about 70 years old) were arrested. The police also took away Dafa books, truth-clarification books, and portraits of Teacher Li from Zhang Mingtang's and Yang Zhanying's homes.
On August 12, Qi County police arrested 46-year-old Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhang Feng from Gaoyang Town and took away Dafa materials from his home. Now the six practitioners are being detained in the Qi County Detention Center.

8. [Shanghai City] Dafa Practitioner Yao Guizhen Arrested
Dafa practitioner Ms. Yao Guizhen lives in Baoshan District, Shanghai City. At 2 PM on July 25, 2007, the Baoshan police illegally arrested her.
In July 1999, Yao Guizhen was detained for a month because she practiced Falun Dafa exercises in the Huangpu Park in Shanghai. In 2005, she and her son were forcibly taken away. Yao Guizhen was sentenced to two years of forced labor. In March 2007, she was released.
9. [Fuping County, Hebei Province] Yuan Guihua and Other Dafa Practitioners Persecuted
On August 19, Fuping County Court in Baoding City, Hebei Province illegally tried Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhao Zongran. In addition, Dafa practitioner Ms. Yuan Guihua has gone a hunger strike for 20 days in order to resist the persecution. Her life is in danger.
10. [Si County, Anhui Province] Gao Zhengmei Sent to a Labor Camp
57-year-old Ms. Gao Zhengmei is from Si County, Anhui Province. In October 1999, she went to Beijing and appealed peacefully for Falun Gong. She was taken away by the police from the Si County Police Department. She was sentenced to three years of imprisonment.
In October 2004, Gao Chengmei was reported because she posted banners that read, "Falun Dafa is good" and "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance is good." The police from the Si County Police Department arrested her and sent her to the Hefei Forced Labor Camp for a three-year term.
11. [Shanhaiguan City, Hebei Province] In August 2007, the number of illegally detained Dafa practitioners reached 28. They are being beaten and forced-fed.
12. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Dafa Practitioner Ye Xiaofen Illegally Detained
On May 30, 2007, Dafa practitioner Ms. Ye Xiaofen was taken away when she went out to clarify the truth. Now she is being detained and persecuted in the Erdaopeng Brainwashing Center in Jianghan District, Wuhan City.
13. [Sanhe City, Hebei Province] Dafa Practitioner Deng Xuemei Detained
On August 11, 2007, Dafa practitioner Ms. Deng Xuemei was taken away when she was working in the Women and Children's Health Care Station in Sanhe City. Now she is being illegally detained in the Sanhe City Detention Center.
14. [Changde City, Hunan Province] Dafa Practitioner Wang Jinyu Detained
Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Jinyu is a retired teacher of the Zhangjiang High School in Zhangjiang Town, Taoyuan County, Changde City. On the morning of August 19, 2007, she was taken away. Now she is being illegally detained by the Zhangjiang Town Public Security Team in Taoyuan County.
15. [Dazhou City, Sichuan Province] Dafa Practitioners Peng Zuyin and Dong Yi Detained
On August 5, 2007, police from the Shihe Town Police Station in Dazhu County, Dazhou City, took away Dafa practitioners Ms. Peng Zuyin and Ms. Dong Yi, who is 69 years old. Now they are being illegally detained in the Dazhu County Detention Center.
On August 23, 2006, Ms. Peng Zhuyin's husband, Dafa practitioner Mr. Hu Yunxiang, died as a result of persecution.
16. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Dafa Practitioner Gu Sanqun Persecuted
Around August 17, 2007, Dafa practitioner Ms. Gu Sanqun from East-West Lake in Wuhan City was illegally detained in the Wuhan City No. 1 Detention Center. Four or five days later, her whereabouts was unknown.

17. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Dafa Practitioners Li Yurong and Zheng Yan Persecuted
On the morning of August 6, 2007, Dalian Dafa practitioners Ms. Li Yurong and Ms. Zheng Yan were taken away by police from the Dalian City National Security Team when they were clarifying the truth in Xigang District, Dalian City. Later on, their homes were searched and their property was taken away. Now they are being detained and persecuted in the Yaojia Detention Center in Dalian City.
18.. [Wanquan County, Hebei Province] Dafa Practitioners Ma Chunhua and Zheng Liqin's Families Harassed
On the evening of July 12, 2007, personnel from the local neighborhood committee and a dozen policemen from the National Security Team of Wanquan County Police Department went to Ms. Ma Chunhua's home and harassed her and her family.
On July 26, 2007, a group of policemen stormed into Ms. Zheng Liqin's home and harassed her and her family.
19. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Dafa Practitioner Ying Fangzhen Arrested
In the middle of August 2007, Dafa practitioner Ms. Ying Fangzhen from Xinzhou District, Wuhan City was taken away by plainclothes police. Now her whereabouts is unknown.
