(Clearwisdom.net) This report covers persecution cases from more than 12 provinces and 26 cities or counties. In this report, 33 Falun Gong practitioners were mistreated while in detention and 35 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Taihe District Court Illegally Sentenced Practitioners Wang Xiaomin, Jing Zuizhen, Sheng Fuji
At about 9:00 a.m. on December 11, 2007, Taihe District Court illegally sentenced Mr. Wang Xiaomin, Ms. Jing Cuizhen and Mr. Sheng Fuji, but didn't release the trial results to the public. The three Falun Gong practitioners have been transferred to the First Detention Center of Jinzhou City.
At about midnight on August 20, 2007, officers from Xiaolingzi Police Station arrested Mr. Wang Xiaomin, then transferred him to the First Detention Center in Jinzhou City.
Mr. Sheng Fuji and Ms. Jing Cuizhen are a married couple. On the night of August 25, 2007, officers from the Nu'erhe Police Station arrested Ms. Jing Cuizhen. At about 3:00 am on August 26, 2007, officers from the Taihe Police Division arrested Mr. Feng Fuji. The police also searched their home three times and stole their property. They were detained at the First Detention Center of Jingzhou City.

2. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Zhu Xiuhua in the ER Due to Persecution
On the morning of November 12, 2007, Ms. Zhu Xiuhua and other practitioners tried to rescue Falun Gong practitioners (Ms. Ren Yanjie from Mudanjiang City and Ms. Wang Yajun from Ning'an City) who were arrested by Chaishi Police. They arrested five practitioners and held them in a detention center. Due to persecution, Ms. Zhu had to be sent to a hospital and stayed there for about 3 weeks. The police have tried to extort money from Ms. Zhu's daughter many times.
3. [Wafangdian City, Liaoning Province] Bing Lulian, Liu Jinhua, and Feng Shuzhi Arrested
On November 29, 2007, officers from Lidian Police Station and Wafangdian Police Division arrested Ms. Bing Lulian, Ms. Liu Jinghua, and Ms. Feng Shuzhi. Ms. Bing and Ms. Liu were taken to the Lidian Police Station and released that night. Ms. Feng is still being held in the Wafangdian Detention Center. The associate head of Lidian Police Station forced her family pay a 2,000 yuan fine.

4. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Zhang Junfang Illegally Detained
Ms. Zhang Junfan, a 55-year-old retired employee of Jilin Oil Field Company, lives in the Luyuan District of Changchun City. On the afternoon of November 23, 2007, when she was telling people the facts of the persecution of Falun Gong, she was reported to the police and was forced to the Puyangjie Police Station, and then to the Weizigou Detention Center of Changchun City. On December 8, 2007, the police transferred her to Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp.
5. [Ji'an City, Jilin Province] Ms. Liu Junxia and Her Husband Homeless Due to Persecution
Officers from Huadan Police Station of Ji'an City followed Ms. Liu Junxia and tried to arrest her. She and her husband have left their home to avoid persecution.
6. [Gaizhou City, Liaoning Province] Practitioners Gong Enrong and His Daughter Illegally Sentenced
Mr. Gong Enrong, from Silabao Village of Shuangtaizi Township of Gaizhou City, was reported to the police while clarifying the facts of the persecution of Falun Gong. The police arrested him on June 25, 2007 and searched his home. The police also arrested his son, Mr. Gong Ronghua, and his daughter, Ms. Gong Yueyuan. After extorting 5,000 yuan from the family, the police released Mr. Gong Ronghua, but held Mr. Gong Enrong and Ms. Gong Yueyuan in the Bayuquan Detention Center.
Recently, Gong Enrong was sentenced to four and half years in prison and Ms. Gong Yueyuan for three and half years. Mr. Gong Enrong was sent back to Bayuquan Detention Center. Ms. Gong Yueyuan was transferred to Shenyang Prison. Mr. Gong Enrong's wife was traumatized by the persecution and suffered a mental collapse.
7. [Heilongjiang Province] More Information about the Persecution of Practitioner Shan Zhiping in Jiamusi Prison
To try to "transform" Mr. Shan Zhiping, Jiamusi Prison officials forced him to stay awake for 6 days and this was still going on at the time this article is written. Since December 13, 2007, Liu Huan, the head of the 2nd sub-ward of the 1st ward of Jiamusi Prison, instigated detainee Zhang Fang to pour water on Mr. Shan's coat and force him to sit on the floor in his wet clothes for a whole night.

8. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Feng Jinying Arrested
At noon on December 10, 2007, the police forcibly took Ms. Feng Jinying to the local police station. She is now being detained at the Hongtoushan Police Station.

9. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Huang Tiebo Sentenced to Three and Half Years
On July 24, 2007, Mr. Huang Tiebo and Mr. Huang Fujun went to the north part of Madian Village, Songfengshan Township, Archeng District to distribute Falun Dafa truth materials. There, they were assaulted, beaten, and reported to the police by the local villagers. Policemen from Songfengshan Township arrested them and held them in the First Detention Center of Archeng District.
Mr. Huang Fujun was tortured to death on November 6, 2007. His body is still being held at a mortuary. On November 15, 2007, a secret trial was held against Mr. Huang Tiebo and he was sentenced to three and half years in prison.

10. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Sun Yuying Arrested
On December 21, 2007, Ms. Sun Yuying, in her 60's, was arrested near the airport by unidentified people.
11. [Mulan County, Heilongjiang Province] Five Practitioners Arrested
On December 6, 2007, when practitioners from Mulan County went to distribute Falun Gong truth materials, four of them were arrested and detained at the Shuangfenglinchang Police Station in the Tieli District of Yichun City.
On the morning of December 12, 2007, two policemen from the 2nd Police Station of Mulan County broke into Mr. Ma Zhanyou's home and arrested him.
12. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Feng Xiuzhi Arrested
When Ms. Feng Xiuzhi went to the Wafangdian area to clarify the facts of the persecution to people, she was reported to the police. On November 29, 2007, officers from the Wafangdian Police Division and the Zhanqian Police Station arrested her. Her whereabouts are unknown.
13. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Wang Shixian Forced to Leave Home
Mr. Wang Shixia is a practitioner from Weidong Village, Longtan Township, Youyan County, Anshan City. He was reported to the police. In October 2007, officers from the Longtan Police Station went to his house and threatened him. Under the pressure, he left home and became homeless.

14. [Beijing] Wang Jianxin Arrested
Mr. Wang Jianxin, in his 50's, is from Chaoyang District of Beijing. On the afternoon of November 19, 2007, when Mr. Wang was clarifying the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong in Dongcheng District, the police arrested him and held him at the Changping Detention Center. Then, the police searched his home and stole his personal property. His whereabouts are unknown.
15. [Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province] Practitioners Bu Guizhen and Sun Yufang Arrested
At about 6 p.m. on December 11, 2007, officials from Daqinjia Town Government and officers from the city 610 Office, over 20 people in total, broke in Ms. Bu Guizhen's front door, seized her, illegally searched her home in Daqinjia Village and stole her personal property.
At about 8 p.m. on December 11, 2007, police officers broke into Ms. Sun Yufang's home in Wohuzhuang Village, arrested her and stole her personal property.
16. [Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Xu Chunxi and Her Daughter Arrested
Ms. Xu Chunxi, in her 40's, is a Falun Gong practitioner from Jingwangjia Village, Canzhuang Town, Zhaoyuan City. On the morning of November 21, 2007, the head of Canzhuang Town and officers from the local police station and the city 610 Office, forcibly took her to the brainwashing center located near the Lingnan Gold Mine of Zhaoyuan City. They stole her TV and DVD player. At about noon, officers went to the 8th Middle School of Zhaoyuan City and arrested Ms. Xu's daughter, Wang Jiao, (16 years old), and forced her get into the police car and brought her to the brainwashing center.

17. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Practitioners Hu Yan and Zhu Xiuqin Arrested
Ms. Hu Yan, about 35-year-old, and Ms. Zhu Xiuqin, over 60, are employees at the 481 factory in Zibo City. On December 11, 2007, they were arrested. Ms. Hu Yan has been arrested many times and was arrested again about 10 days ago. Now there is nobody taking care of her child.
18. [Shandong Province] Practitioner Tang Fenlan Arrested
On November 10, 2007, four police officers from Renhe Town of Gaomi City broke into Ms. Tang Fenlan's home and confiscated a photo of the founder of Falun Dafa, seized 54-year-old Tang Fenlan and held her at the Gaomi Detention Center. She was released on November 26.
19. [Shengli Oil Field, Shandong Province] Practitioner Guo Jiahua Arrested
On December 3, 2007, when Ms. Guo Jiahua was posting truth materials about the persecution of Falun Gong, she was reported to the police. Officers from the Xianhe Police Station arrested her and held her at the Detention Center in Hekou District.

20. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] The Police of Baoshan District and Jinan Steel and Iron Group Corporation Persecute Falun Gong
Since November 27, the Baoshan Police Division of Jinan City and the Communist Party Committee of Jinan Steel and Iron Group Corporation published a notice, saying: Anyone who turns in a Falun Gong poster will be rewarded with 5 yuan; reporting a Falun Gong practitioner to the police will be rewarded with 5,000 yuan; capturing a Falun Gong practitioner will be rewarded with 10,000 yuan. The police and the company also hire people to monitor and follow Falun Gong practitioners. The company pays these people 50 yuan for every 6 hours of monitoring work.

21. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] More Than Twenty Falun Gong Practitioners Arrested
On November 3, 2007, the police of Anqiu City arrested more than 20 Falun Gong practitioners, including Ms. Lou Guoyun, Ms. Xu Jingping, Ms. Guo Jianying, Ms. Tian Yufen, etc. Policemen waited outside of Ms. Xu Jingping's home for 4 days. In the end, they broke her door in and arrested her and her son (a non-practitioner).
On November 6 and 7, 2007, about 8 policemen arrested Ms. Zhong Xixiu and Mr. Su Xiaoyu from their homes in Wangjiazhuangze Township of Anqiu County. The police also searched their homes and stole their property.

22. [Leshan City, Sichuan Province] The Government of Luohan Township Persecutes Falun Gong Practitioners
The people of the Luohan Township Government, Leshan City, often harass Falun Gong practitioners and steal their property. In 2001, they persecuted to death Mr. Peng Guanglong from Liming Village.
In November 2007, some people made some up some slogans slandering Falun Gong and hung them on electric poles or posted them on the walls along highways. Recently, they announced a policy rewarding those who report Falun Gong practitioners to them, with 200 to 500 yuan.
23. [Shenzhou City, Hebei Province] The Police Search Practitioners Homes
On October 11, 2007, village head Lu Yansui of Wenzhuang Village, Chenshi Township in Shenzhou City, village security officer Wen Botian and local police station director Wang Xuzhao broke into two practitioners' homes when nobody was there. They stole two satellite receivers, a TV, Falun Dafa books and truth-clarification VCDs,

24. [Linqing City, Shandong Province] More Information about Practitioner Zhu Lanmei
At about 6 p.m. on December 10, 2007, policemen arrested Ms. Zhu Lanmei from her home at Linqing City of Shandong Province and confiscated truth-clarification materials. Ms. Zhu is being held in the Linqing Detention Center.
25. [Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province] The Current Situation of Practitioner Gao Chunlian and Others
Zhuozhou police arrested Ms. Gao Chunlian, Mr. Dong Hanjie, Ms. Xing Junhua, and Mr. Ren Boshen from their homes and stole personal property worth over 100,000 yuan.
Ms. Gao Chunlian, Mr. Dong Hanjie and Ms. Xing Junhua have been on a hunger strike for over two months to protest the persecution and demand their unconditional release. The police have been force-feeding them. Now, they are in very bad health. Ms. Gao and Ms. Xing need assistance in walking. Mr. Dong's situation is even worse. He is showing symptoms of renal failure. Even so, the police refuse to let his family visit.
Mr. Ren Baokun was illegally sentenced to the Balizhuang Forced Labor Camp in Baoding City for one and half years. In the camp, guards hung him in air for three days because he did Falun Gong exercises.
26. [Anhui Province] Many Falun Gong Practitioners Arrested
In November, the 610 Office of Tongling County arrested many local Falun Gong practitioners and detained them at the Bole Hotel where they forced them to undergo brainwashing.

27. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Practitioners Zhang Yanchun, Zhang Jin and Guo Lixia Arrested
At about 10 a.m. on December 10, 2007, when Ms. Zhang Yanchun, Ms. Zhang Jin and Ms. Guo Lixia were distributing materials about the persecution of Falun Gong, they were reported to the police. Officers from Daliru Police Station arrested them and held them in the 1st Detention Center. The police stole Ms. Zhang Yanchun's computer equipment from Ms. Zhang Jin's home, and Falun Gong books and a computer from Ms. Guo Lixia's home.
28. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Practitioners Zhang Aiguo, Zhang Zhilan and Yue Yunqin Arrested
On December 11, 2007, when practitioners from Dongyanghe Village, Chaigoubao Township, Huai'an County, Zhangjiakou City, including Ms. Zhang Aiguo, Ms. Zhang Zhilan and Ms. Yue Yunqin, went to Dahugou Village in Shangyi County to clarify the facts of the persecution of Falun Gong to people, they were reported to the police. Officers from Shanyi County arrested them.
On December 12, 2007, policemen from Shangyi County, Huai'an County and village officials illegally searched their homes. They stole 2 recorders, 1 VCD player, 1 satellite receiver, and Falun Gong books and materials. The three practitioners are now being held at the Shangyi Detention Center.
29. [Hubei Province] More Information about the Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners of Xiantao City
Over ten Falun Gong practitioners are still being held in the 1st Detention Center of Xiantao City. Xiantao Government is planing to send these practitioners to prison.

30. [Gao'an City, Jiangxi Province] Practitioners Ms. Liu and Ms. Deng Arrested
On December 8, 2007, 40-year-old Ms. Liu and 57-year-old Ms. Deng went to the countryside to clarify the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong. They were arrested by the police.

31. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Tianhe Court Plans to Hold a Trial against Falun Gong Practitioners
Tianhe Court of Guangzhou City plan to hold a trial against Falun Gong practitioners Mr. Zhao Litang and Ms. Yu Ruijun on December 27.
32. [Bazhou City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Wei Xiyun Taken to Brainwashing Center Again
On December 11, 2007, when Mr. Wei Xiyun from Bazhou City went to Chaheji Market to distribute truth materials. Plainclothes policemen noticed, followed and arrested him. He was sent to a brainwashing session in Langfang City.
Last year, when he went to Laoti Township to clarify the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong, the police arrested him and detained him in a brainwashing center for two months.
33. [Shuangliu County, Sichuan Province] Practitioners Zhong Lijun and Li Caiqong Arrested
On November 25, 2007, policemen from Shuangliu County arrested Ms. Zhong Lijun and Ms. Li Caiqong, searched their homes and stole their property. The two practitioners are detained at the Caiwan Brainwashing Center in Xinjin County of Chengdu City.
The police have arrested Ms. Li Caiqong many times, which forced her to leave home for a very long time. The police also arrested Ms. Zhong Lijun many times and extorted tens of thousands of yuan from her family.

34. [Wuwei City, Gansu Province] Wang Yucui and Zhang Xueping Arrested
In August 2007, Chen Fenggang, an agent of the Chinese Security Bureau, arrested Ms. Wang Yucui, a practitioner from Wuwei City. She was sentenced to a forced labor camp for one year.
On August 30, 2007, the police arrested Ms. Zhang Xueping and Ms. Wang Fengqin and stole Ms. Zhang's computer and Falun Gong books.
35. [Ziyang City, Sichuan Province] Practitioner Yi Xiangang Transferred to Detention Center
On September 3, 2007, the police forcibly took Mr. Yi Xiangang to a brainwashing session. When his father-in-law passed away on November 27, 2007, the police wouldn't let Mr. Yi go to the funeral, but transferred him to a detention center and continued torturing him.
