Ms. Zhao Songxiang, an eighty-three-year-old Cantonese American who has lived in the U.S. for forty years, said the show was great--huge, as she put it. She was familiar with all the stories.

Ms. He Yingyong, a Chinese American who came from the Philippines, said the show was gorgeous. She liked the costumes, dances and stories...everything in the show.

Ms. Liang, originally from Guangdong Province, China, said, "I loved it! I don't know how to describe it. It is just wonderful."

Ms. Diane Paskerian, who used to a part of a ballet ensemble in San Francisco, said that she could tell that the performers had years of training. She said excitedly that it was a magnificent spectacle. She said that every part was fascinating: the music, the background, the costume, the dance.

Ms. Paskerian complimented the host and the hostess of the show for doing a great job of explaining the historical background of each program. She said that this made it easy for her to learn more about Chinese culture.

Engineer Ms. Fupangan Raquel

Ms. Fupangan Raquel, a semiconductor engineer, said she was very touched by the performances. She had seen parts of the show on TV, but she said it was more magnificent and heart-shaking in the theater. She really wished to learn more about the culture of China. It was the first time she had seen such a beautiful show, in which dance and songs carried the message of compassion.

Martina, who works in a school in San Francisco said the show was beautiful. She said that the values presented by the show, Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance, are what people need today and that the show was a great way to present these values.
