(Clearwisdom.net) On January 25, the Divine Performing Arts touring company put on the first of three performances in Chicago, the "Windy City." From the magnificent scene of "Descent of the Celestial Kings" and thunderous Tang drums, to the pure beauty of ethnic dances and a touching story of cultivation, the beauty and compassion of ancient Chinese culture left the audience in awe. After the show, many audience members shared heartfelt responses.
Audience member Cal said that he loves Chinese culture and has visited China before. After the show, Cal said that the choreography was excellent and the instrumental performances were fascinating. Compared to other shows, Cal stressed that a unique feature of this one is that it is spiritually uplifting and it inspires people's deep respect for Chinese culture. Cal's colleague Scott fully agreed with him and they both said that they would come back next year. When asked how he would rate the show on a scale of 1 to 10, Cal said enthusiastically: "15!"
