(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Qin Yufen is 60 years old. She lives in Xiguan in Xingren County, Qianxinanzhou, Guizhou Province, and makes a living by selling cement and chemical fertilizer with her husband, who does not practice Falun Gong. She was detained in a forced labor camp for over two years from 2003-2004.
In the latter half of 2007, after Xingren County practitioner Wang Dengqiao was persecuted in September 2007, Ms. Qin was harassed by the national security team at her residence many times. Later she was forced to leave home. In November, she returned home.
On the morning of December 26, Liang Dexiong, the leader of the National Security Team of Xingren County, took six to seven police officers, including one named He Bing, to break into Ms. Qin's shop. Without showing a warrant, they forcibly searched the shop and bedroom and confiscated a copy of Essentials for Further Advancement, one MP3 player, two VCDs belonging to her husband, and one pack of empty plastic bags used to hold samples of chemical fertilizer. Later they took Ms. Qin's cell phone that she used for the business to the National Security Team when her family was absent. They damaged the door during the arrest.
At 10 p.m. that night, Liang Dexiong again led police to Ms. Qin's home and threatened her family so that they would sign her arrest warrant, which claimed she was "damaging implementation of the law via an illegal organization."
Ms. Qin Yufen is now being illegally detained in the Detention Center of the Xingren County Police Station and has been interrogated. Officials from the National Security Team have extorted money from her family using all sorts of excuses. Her husband is very busy and cannot take care of the business alone. He is worried about her safety.
