(Clearwisdom.net) On the October 11 and 18, 2008, Falun Gong practitioners in Austria held "Information Days" in Schiller Park and Pigeon Square in the city of Linz. This was the first time that these kinds of activities have been held in these two places, and they attracted great interest from passersby. Practitioners introduced Falun Gong to the people, and they exposed the brutal persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist regime and the regime's atrocities of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners.
People sign a petition calling for an end to illegal organ harvesting
Many people stopped to read the poster displays. After carefully reading the information some asked, "What is this?" "What are they doing?" Practitioners then explained details about Falun Gong to them, and told them about the on-going persecution of Falun Gong in China.
People were very shocked that such atrocities can still occur in modern times. Some people even asked if they could donate money to help practitioners. Practitioners told them that Falun Gong practitioners don't collect donations, and want only to tell people the true situation occurring in China. If they wanted to support Falun Gong they were invited to sign the petition opposing the persecution.
For a period of time, people formed a long line to sign the petition. When
the activity was about to end at 3:00 p.m., there was tide of people around the
Falun Gong stand, many of them waiting to sign the petition. Some also wanted to
learn Falun Gong exercises and others wanted to learn about Falun Gong.
