Ms. Deng Xiaomei, a Falun Dafa practitioner and a kindergarten teacher from Zhenxiong County, Yunnan Province, was arrested at home on November 11, 2008. Police officers led by Zheng Shaohai carried out the arrest. She has been illegally sentenced to forced labor for two years.
Ms. Deng who is 30 years of age, has been illegally detained twice before. In 2000, she was detained for over three weeks just because she participated in a Falun Dafa group exercises. In 2002, she was sentenced to forced labor for two years.
