(Clearwisdom.net) On December 20, 2008, in the winter rain and cold wind, a group of Helsinki Falun Gong practitioners held activities beside the Helsinki central train station to protest the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) brutal persecution of Falun Gong. They held banners that said, "Disintegrate the CCP, Stop the Persecution" and "Support the 47 Million Who Have Quit the CCP."

Two Finnish Falun Gong practitioners exposed the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong, which has been ongoing since 1999, and they also told people about the 47 million Chinese people who have expressed their wish to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations through different channels since the "Nine Commentaries on the Chinese Communist Party" was published by The Epoch Times four years ago. Although it was cold and rainy, many passersby stopped to listen, take flyers, and sign the petition to show their support.
Pakistani youth Ali said that Pakistan has a close relationship with the CCP, and he thanked the practitioners for letting him know about the persecution. He had never heard of Falun Gong and the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners before, and understood the importance of it.
One Finnish person accepted flyers for himself, and then asked for information in Chinese to give to his Chinese friends to read.
A practitioner with the surname of Wang said, "An older lady looked at our banners and asked me what was written on them. I told her that in China, 47 million people have withdrawn from the CCP and its organizations. She said with a smile, 'This is a good thing, I would like to see what is written inside those materials. There are no human rights under the CCP regime.'"
Finnish practitioner Sinikka said, "A man came to read the petition forms, but it seemed that he didn't understand at first. He asked us how he could help us. I told him that we were exposing the CCP's atrocities, and every person who understood the facts and opposed the persecution counts. He nodded and signed the petition, and wished us a merry Christmas."
