(Clearwisdom.net) A older practitioner came to our Fa study group recently. She has been practicing for four years. Although she is over 60 years old, she has fair skin and is in good physical condition. Each day she leaves home at 7:00 a.m. to explain the facts about Falun Gong face to face, returns in the afternoon to study the Fa, practices the exercises, sends forth righteous thoughts and studies the Fa again at night. She has a high success rate for getting people to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). She always has a cheerful word and those she talks to easily accept what she has to say.
Some practitioners say the reason she is so youthful is because she is very diligent and does the three things well. I want to add two preconditions: (1) Belief in Teacher and Dafa without reservation, and (2) Cultivating from a righteous standpoint. Every time she goes out to clarify the facts to people, she asks Teacher to strengthen her, and then goes out and saves predestined people with compassion. She said that she always remembers that Teacher is beside her.
The mission of Fa-rectification period practitioners is to assist Teacher in rectifying the Fa, saving sentient beings, and assimilating into Dafa. This older practitioner said that when she advises people to withdraw from the Party, she only has one thought in her mind, and that is saving them, and she explains the facts based on that. People can sense practitioners' compassion, and she can make people understand everything with only a few sentences.
Even though some practitioners (including myself), say we believe in Teacher and Dafa, our actions sometimes bely our belief. We are hesitant to clarify the facts and miss good opportunities. When distributing information material, we are overly cautious and indecisive, glance right and left, and cause others to think that we have done something wrong. How can we save people effectively with such mindsets?
Teacher said in Zhuan Falun:
"After a period of cultivation practice, our Falun Dafa practitioners look quite different in appearance." (official translation)
So why do the bodies of so many practitioners (including myself) not reflect any obvious changes? Is it because we have fallen into "doing things" for a long time? Are ordinary notions getting in our way?
Here I would like to kindly remind fellow practitioners to strive forward, strictly do things according to Teacher's requirements, truly study the Fa, put aside human notions, genuinely explain the facts well, and save more people.
