(Clearwisdom.net) The premiere performance of the Divine Performing Arts of New York in the Asia-Pacific area was staged in Tokyo. Many people who attended the show last year got another taste of the Chinese culture at the performance in Shijuku. Some who missed it last year were able to fulfill their wish this year, and they felt that seeing the show was an amazing predestination.
Mr. Matsukawa Makoto's friend invited him to attend the show together last year but it didn't work out. This year, the same friend happened to meet him again. They seemed to be predestined to attend the show in Tokyo. He said, "I always felt it was a predestination. It is so touching!" Mr. Makoto was immersed in his feeling after seeing the show. He closed his eyes once in a while as if immersed in every little memory from the show.
He thought the whole show was amazing and the costumes splendid and impressive. Mr. Makoto said, "It's the first time I have seen Chinese classic dance. It exceeded my expectations. The ticket is worth it just to see the costumes." He was also taken by the music, and was especially moved by the lyrics and voice of the last song. He thought it was great that the lyrics in Chinese and Japanese were shown on the backdrop.
Mr. Makoto could feel the significance of a person holding steadfast for justice and compassion when facing persecution. "The Risen Lotus Flower" and "The Power of Awareness" performances exemplified the courage needed to face violent oppression, and made audience members want to cry out, "The persecution must not continue!"
