1. [Jiaohe City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Mr. Li Guizhong Arrested
On January 21, 2008, Mr. Li Guizhong was arrested by police from the Jilin City Public Security Bureau and the Jiaohe City 610 Office, and his residence was ransacked. Some truth-clarifying materials and some of Teacher's lectures were taken.
2. [Fuxin City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Ms. Wang Jinfeng Arrested
Ms. Wang Jinfeng was persecuted at the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp for more than three years. She has been arrested by police from the Gongren Village precinct for passing out truth-clarifying materials. Currently, she's being persecuted at the Xindi Detention center.
3. [Beijing City] Ms. Zhang Xiuzhen Illegally Arrested
During December 2007, practitioner Ms. Zhang Xiuzhen of Shahe Town, Changping County was reported to the police while posting truth-clarifying materials in Huzhuang Village of Shisanling Town. She was arrested and detained that night. Another practitioner from Changlingyuan Village of Shisanling Town was watched for a long time and then arrested. Both are being detained up the hill at Jiulong Vacation Village.
4. [Shan County, Shandong Province] Mr. Liu Guangcun and Ms. Shen Jin'e Sent to Labor Camp
During the night of December 29, 2007, practitioners Mr. Liu Guangcun and Ms. Shen Jin'e were arrested and taken from their homes by the Shan County State Security Brigade. On February 2, 2008, they were transferred to Jinan First Women's Forced Labor Camp. Mr. Liu was given two-years of imprisonment and Ms. Shen was given one and a half years at a forced labor camp.
5. [Yinchuan City, Ningxia Province] Practitioner Mr. Xie Yiqiang Arrested
Practitioner Mr. Xia Yiqiang received a call on the morning of March 2, 2008. He was told to come to his workplace to receive a year-end bonus. At his workplace, Mr. Xie was attacked in public and arrested by the police. His home was ransacked that night and he was taken to Yinchuan City Detention Center, cell 105. His boss said that the Yinchuan City Public Security Brigade and Funing Street Police Station had threatened him and forced him to comply.
6. [Duyun City, Guizhou Province] Practitioner Ms. Fang Youqi Illegally Detained
Ms. Fang Youqi and Ms. Li Xiuhua were arrested while distributing Dafa materials on the evening of January 29, 2008. They are currently being held in the Duyun City Detention Center.
7. [An County, Sichuan Province] Practitioner Ms. Zheng Linghua Sentenced to Three Years in Prison
On May 3, 2007, Ms. Zheng Linghua was arrested by the Huayuan precinct police while passing out truth clarifying materials. She was detained for more than eight months in the Mianyang and County detention centers. The judicial court of An County sentenced her to a 3-year jail term. Ms. Zheng was transferred to Yangmahe Prison in Jiangyang County, Sichuan Province for further persecution on January 10, 2008.
8. [Luzhou City, Sichuan Province] On February 2, 2008, Practitioner Ms. Tang Tianmin was Arrested
9. [Langfang City, Shandong Province] Mr. Zhang Lizhi and Ms. Liu Junrui Illegally Detained in Langfang Detention Center
On February 1, 2008, Falun Gong practitioners Mr. Zhang Lizhi and Ms. Liu Junrui were arrested and detained at Langfang City Detention Center without notification of their family.
10. [Yi County. Liaoning Province] The Persecution of Ms. Wang Tiegang
One day in 2001, the home of practitioner Ms. Wang Tiegang was invaded by a number of police officers led by Zhang Yanfu from the Yi County Public Security Bureau. They took Dafa books and a picture of Teacher. Ms. Wang was detained for 11 days and released after she paid 2000 yuan.
The police again broke into her home around midnight during June 2002. Police officer Wang Zhanlin and a number of other officers forcibly arrested practitioner Wang Tiegang. Her husband, afraid he too would be arrested, did not stop them. She was released after paying 2000 yuan and serving 16 days.
