1. [Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province] Falun Gong Practitioners Including Zhou Meili Arrested
At 8:00 p.m. on January 3, 2008, Jiujiang Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Huang Jinrong, Ms. Zhou Meili and Ms. Tian Haiying, were reported to the police when they were distributing truth-clarifying materials in Yongquan Township. Police from the Yongquan Township Police Station arrested them. When Ms. Zhou Meili and Ms. Huang Jinrong were detained in the Jiujiang City Detention Center, they went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution.
During the past eight years, Ms. Zhou Meili was repeatedly detained and sent to forced labor camps. She was forced to divorce her husband. In the beginning of February 2008, Ms. Zhou was sentenced to one year of forced labor. Now she is detained in the Jiangxi Provincial Women's Forced Labor Camp. It is the third time that she was detained in a forced labor camp in eight years.
On February 2, 2008, Ms. Huang Jinrong and Ms. Tian Haiying were released after 610 Office agents from the Jiujiang Police Department extorted five thousand yuan from their families.

On the afternoon of February 25, 2008, police from the Qiezihe District Police Department in Qitaihe City broke into Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Zhang Hongzhi's home in Hongwei Town, Qiezihe District. The police searched his home, took Mr. Zhang away and sent him to the Qiezihe Police Department.
4. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Falun Gong Practitioner Dai Hongying and Her Husband Arrested
On the evening of February 19, 2008, several policemen from the Hefei Road Police Station in Qingdao City arrested Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Dai Hongying and her husband Mr. Xiao Zhang, who is not a practitioner. The police illegally confiscated a truck, a bank book, a computer, a CD burner, a cellphone, all Dafa books, truth-clarifying materials and CDs. Xiao Zhang is currently detained in the Dashan Detention Center and the cash totaling about 2,000 yuan he carried was also confiscated. Ms. Dai Hongying's whereabouts are unknown.
5. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] A Person Who Sympathizes With Falun Dafa Arrested
Ms. Su Rong from Wuhan City is not a Falun Dafa practitioner. On February 11, 2008, her child, who is about eight or nine years old, attended a "winter camp" event where she expressed sympathy to Falun Dafa and agreed that "Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance" are good. On February 19, police from the first section of the Wuhan City Police Department took her away. Now she is detained in the Yangyuan Brainwashing Center in Wuchang District.
6. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Additional Information about Falun Gong Practitioner Mr. Liu Qing
In July 2007, Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Liu Qing was arrested. Now he is detained in the second division of the first sub-camp of the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. Mr. Liu Qing was once detained in the Dalian Prison for three years because he practices Falun Gong.

A Falun Gong practitioner with the surname of Wang from Beijingzi Village, Weichang, Yangquanzi, Panjin City, was illegally arrested. Many Falun Gong practitioners' homes were searched.
8. [Chongqing City] Additional Information about the Persecution of Ms. Zhang Jun
On October 19, 2007, the police from the Xinqiao Police Station and the National Security Team in Shapingba District, Chongqing City, took Ms. Zhang Jun away and sent her to the Wangxiangting Brainwashing Center in Yubei District, where she was detained for two months. Afterwards, she was transferred to the Jiangbei District Detention Center. On January 24, 2008, she was secretly sentenced to two years' forced labor. Now Ms. Zhang is detained in the Chongqing Women's Forced Labor Camp.
9. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Li Dejun Sentenced to Three Years of Imprisonment
Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Li Dejun was the chief judge of the Hongqi Tribunal of the Ganjingzi Court in Dalian City. At the end of December 2007, the Pulandian Court secretly sentenced him to three years' imprisonment. He is currently still detained in the Dalian Railroad Detention Center.
10. [Beijing City] Ms. Song Yaqin Persecuted
At about 5:00 p.m. on February 22, 2008, the head of the Dewai Police Station in Xicheng District, Beijing City, led about a dozen policemen including Yuan Yanjie and Wang Zhitao, to break into Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Song Yaqin's home at Deshengmen, Xicheng District. The police took away Ms. Song Yaqin and confiscated a computer, a printer, 15 MP3s and ten e-books.
Before dawn on February 23, 2008, Ms. Song Yaqin walked away from the Dewai Police Station. Now she has had to become homeless in order to avoid being arrested at home.
11. [Wuxue City, Hubei Province] Ms. Lan Ji'neng Arrested
At about 2:00 p.m. on January 24, 2008, a dozen agents from the Wuxue 610 Office and the Huaqiao Police Station suddenly broke into Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Lan Ji'neng's home. They arrested her and took away Dafa books and articles, and other items. Ms. Lan was detained in a detention center and forced to attend a brainwashing class until her mother passed away. Under her strong demand, Ms. Lan was allowed to go home and make arrangement for her mother's funeral.

13. [Lingyuan City, Liaoning Province] Many Falun Gong Practitioners Arrested
During the evening on February 24, 2008, about a dozen Falun Gong practitioners from Lingyuan and Chaoyang cities went to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp to rescue Falun Gong practitioners Mr. Feng Guofu and Ms. Han Ximin, who were detained there and had become critically ill due to the persecution. All of the practitioners were arrested.
At 3:00 a.m. on February 25, 2008, Lingyuan Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Lou Caihua was arrested at home and her home was searched.
At about 10:00 a.m. on February 25, 2008, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Xiao Xue jumped out of the sixth floor and got hurt when the police tried to arrest her. She is receiving treatment in the Lingyuan Hospital.
On the morning of February 25, Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Wu Jinping and Mr. Li Wensheng from the Tianzheng Company of Chaoyang City, Mr. Pan Yufeng, who is a driver from the same company, and Ms. Feng Li from Qidaoquanzi were all arrested. Their homes were searched and ransacked. At Pan Yufeng's home, two computers and two printers were taken away.
On February 24, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Feng Yingchun was arrested and detained in the Wujiawa Detention Center.
Currently, other Falun Gong practitioners who have been arrested include: Ms. Li Yingxuan, Ms. Li Yaxuan, Ms. Chu Xiumei, Ms. Yu Huijuan, Ms. Cheng Baofeng and Ms. Jing Fei.

On around February 18, 2008, five Falun Gong practitioners from Xuhui District, Shanghai City, including Mr. Liu Peng and his wife Ms. Zhang Xumei, and Ms. Zhang Yuxia, were all arrested. They are detained in the Xuhui District Detention Center. Ms. Zhang Yuxia's husband Guo Shenghuan has been sentenced to four years' imprisonment.
15. [Linghai City, Liaoning Province] Falun Gong Couple Ms. Ren Guixia and Mr. Zhang Guoxin Arrested
At around 5:00 a.m. on February 25, 2008, several officers from the Linghai Police Department and the Jincheng Sub-Department surrounded Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Ren Guixia's home. The police illegally pried the door open and broke into her home. They took away three satellite receivers for receiving NTDTV signals and arrested Ms. Ren and her husband Zhang Guoxin.
16. [Beijing City] Ms. Fu Yuxian Arrested
On February 19, 2008, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Fu Yuxian from Jiuxianqiao, Beijing City, was arrested when she was clarifying the truth at Dongzhimen. Her home was searched and a computer, a printer, and truth-clarifying materials were taken away. Ms. Fu is detained in the Shahe Detention Center.
17. [Suizhong County, Liaoning Province] Eleven Falun Gong Practitioners Arrested
At around 5:00 a.m. on February 25, 2008, police from the Huludao City Police Department and the Suizhong County Police Department destroyed seven family-based truth-clarification materials production sites. The police violently destroyed doors and windows and entered those families' homes. They took away many Dafa books and materials, about a dozen computers, printers and digital cameras. They also took away printer paper, ink, CDs, paper-cutting knifes, cash, bankbooks, and other items.
Eleven Dafa practitioners including Ms. Shen Wenling, Ms. Feng Kelan, Mr. Yang Guangwu, Ms. Yang Zhaofang, Mr. Yang Jiangwei, Mr. Li Xiaoming, Mr. Pei Zhihua, Ms. Zhang Chongyue, Mr. Fan Dezhen, and Ms. Yang Xiaoxue were arrested. They were sent to the Huludao Detention Center.

18. [Suizhong County, Liaoning Province] Attempted Arrest of a Falun Gong Practitioner in the Luyuan Neighborhood
On February 25, 2008, police from Suizhong County went to the Luyuan Neighborhood in Dongxingzhuang, Xingcheng City and intended to arrest a male Falun Gong practitioner with the surname of Wang, who is about 30 years old. This practitioner stood on the outside of a window on the fourth floor of a building. He held onto the steel window frame and was deadlocked with the police for more than five hours. Many policemen and police vehicles surrounded the building. Further details are unknown.
19. [Puning City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Chen Guifen and Ms. Chen Huijun Arrested
On the evening of February 24, 2008, about a dozen policemen from the Chengbei Police Station illegally searched Puning Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Chen Guifen's home. The police arrested Ms. Chen Guifen and took away Dafa books, Master's pictures, 20,000 yuan cash, and other items. On February 25, the police went to search her husband Chen Binghu in his hometown and they also searched the company he works for.
On the evening on February 7, 2008, Puning Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Chen Huijun was arrested in Guiyu Town, Chaonan District, Shantou City. She was beaten by police from the Guiyu Police Station. Ms. Chen is detained in the Chaoyang Detention Center and her situation is urgent.

On February 16, 2008, Haicheng Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Cui Chunbiao was secretly sentenced to four years of imprisonment. He is currently still detained in the Haicheng Detention Center.

At about 7:00 a.m. on February 25, 2008, police from the Nuerhe Police Station in Jinzhou City arrested Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Liu Fengmei, Ms. Huang Cheng and Ms. Zhang Xiulan.

On the morning of February 25, 2008, police from the Zhangwu County Police Department of Fuxin City arrested Zhangwu Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Xiong Suxiang and her husband from their home.
25. [Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Information about Arrests of Practitioners Ms. Wu Xia and Ms. Liu Li
Ms. Wu Xia and Ms. Liu Li were employees of the Taijinbao Company, a Taiwanese investment enterprise in Suzhou City.
Wu Xia, 27, is from Shandong Province. She was reported to police because she clarified the truth by using QQ on the Internet. On June 1, 2007, she was arrested while she was working and sent to the Wujiang Detention Center. Her laptop and Dafa books were taken away. In December 2007, she was sentenced to three years of imprisonment. She is currently detained in the Nantong Women's Prison in Jiangsu Province.
Liu Li, 29, is from Hubei Province. She was reported to police because she had taught others to practice Falun Gong. On the afternoon of November 29, 2007, police from the Police Station and National Security Team of Wujiang Far East Economy Developing District arrested her while she was working. The police searched her apartment and took away her laptop, MP3 player and Dafa books. On December 14, she was transferred to the Jurong Women's Forced Labor Camp in Jiangsu Province for a one-year term. The police also extorted 5,000 yuan from her family with the excuse that Liu Li wanted to talk to a lawyer.
26. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Additional Information about Arrest of High School Teacher Mr. Fan Yachao
Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Fan Yachao is a high school teacher in Daqing City. On February 23, 2008, he and his wife Ms. Li Mingyu were arrested when they paid the bill at Xinmate by using paper currency with truth-clarifying words on it. Both Fan Yachao and her mother's homes were searched. An LCD monitor was taken away.
Fan Yachao is being detained in the Longfeng No. 3 Detention Center for a term of 15 days. His wife Li Mingyu has been released.
27. [Beijing City] Several Practitioners Arrested in Beijing
On February 20, 2008, police from Zhangjiawan, Tongzhou, Beijing City, arrested three Falun Gong practitioners. At about 11:00 a.m. on February 21, 2008, Beijing plainclothes police officers arrested Ms. Xiao Qi from Lujiaying, Chaoyang District, Beijing, and two other Falun Gong practitioners from outside of Beijing. Ms. Xiao Qi's home was searched and a dozen books were taken away.
In 2007, practitioners Ms. Wang Yimei, Ms. Tian Juan and Mr. Yang, from the Jianguomen Neighborhood Committee, were taken away from their office because they clarified the truth to people. They have been sentenced to forced labor.
28. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Falun Gong Practitioners Including Mr. Zhao Jian Persecuted at Masanjia Forced Labor Camp
On February 14, and 15, 2008, Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Zhao Jian, who is detained in the Third Division of the First Sub-camp of Masanjia Forced Labor Camp, was beaten by several people three times in the cafeteria. Falun Gong practitioners detained in the first and second divisions went on a hunger strike to support Mr. Zhao and demand the public settlement of this incident.
On the morning of February 20, 2008, Chief Pan Hongzhou of the second division led four or five guards to retaliate against four Falun Gong practitioners. Mr. Chen Kaiqu, Mr. Liu Qing, Mr. Han Ximin and Mr. Gao Yuling were tortured by electric shock. Liu Qing, about 30 years old, was electrically shocked for the longest time. His face was severely disfigured and had many burns.
29. [Qian'an County, Jilin Province] Ms. Yang Fengwu Arrested and Ms. Ji Chunlai Forced to Become Homeless
At around 1:00 p.m. on February 2, 2008, Chief Suo Tiejun from the Dabusu Town Police Station and Zu Jiandong, who is in charge of the satellite station, led people to break into Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Yang Fengwu's home. In Ms. Yang's home, they received signals from NTDTV on the TV, so they took away the satellite receiver and TV and arrested Yang Fengwu. Twelve days later, Ms. Yang was sentenced to one year of forced labor and sent to the Yinmahe Forced Labor Camp in Jiutai City.
On the same day, Suo Tiejun and Zu Jiandong went to practitioner Ms. Ji Chunlai's home and took away the satellite receiver installed at her home. Ji Chunlai was forced to become homeless in order to avoid being arrested at home.

30. [Kunming City, Yunnan Province] Ms. Shi Yun Brutally Force-Fed
In December 2007, policemen including Lian Xueteng from the National Security Team of the Wuhua District Police Department in Kunming City, arrested Kunming Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Shi Yun. She is detained in the Wuhua Detention Center. Because she refused to memorize the prison regulations, guard Zhang Lirong, and the head of the prison division, Yang Liping, cut off all of her daily necessities including toilet paper. Shi Yun went on a hunger strike to protest such law-violating action of the detention center. The guards put handcuffs and shackles on her and sent her to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical School to insert a tube to her stomach. During the forced-feeding, the guards instigated the head of detainees to spit into her meal. They used a bowl that was used by contagious patients and force-fed her cold rice mixed with dirty water.
Shi Yun went on a hunger strike for 19 days. Since she had taken out the tube inserted to her stomach, the guards tied her hands behind her back for a day and night. Her legs were also tied up. The tube inserted to her stomach caused severe nose and stomach ulceration. Nineteen days later, Shi Yun was on the verge of death. Her breathing was very weak. Because the guards were afraid that she would die, they stopped torturing her.
31. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Ba Shuqun Transferred to Jinan City Forced Labor Camp
On January 29, 2008, Jinan Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Ba Shuqun showed up with the support of two canes at her so-called "trial" in Tianqiao District Court. Her legs were badly hurt and she cannot walk normally as a result of persecution. Ms. Ba has been transferred to the Jinan City Forced Labor Camp for further persecution.
32. [Sichuan Province] Mr. Jiang Yunhong on the Verge of Death Due to Persecution
Mr. Jiang Yunhong was once arrested and sent to the Wumaping Prison in Sichuan Province, where he suffered severe liver disease due to being persecuted. His family paid bail for his release and took him home After getting home, he insisted on studying the Fa and practicing the Falun Gong exercises. His health was gradually restored. His younger brother was laid off due to persecution against the family and they are in a difficult living situation.
In November 2007, Mr. Jiang Yunhong was arrested again and sent to the Wumaping Prison, where he was badly beaten. Mr. Jiang has gone on a hunger strike to protest. Now he is at the prison hospital. His liver disease relapsed and he has blood in his stool.
33. [Zhucheng City, Shandong Province] Ms. Ji Leming Arrested Again
On the morning on February 23, 2008, police from the Politics and Security Team of the Zhucheng City Police Department and the Xinhua Road Police Station went to search Ms. Ji Leming's home and took her away. Her daughter, in Grade 11, is now at home alone.
After the persecution of Falun Gong began on July 20, 1999, the principal of the Economics School at that time, where Ms. Ji is employed, transferred her from the library to general services. She did cleaning with students on duty. The school reduced her salary and only pays her an allowance of 200 yuan per month.
On February 26, 2001, the Politics and Security Team of the Zhucheng Police Department took Ms. Ji to the Xinhua Road Police Station when she was working and then detained her in a detention center for one month. Her 11-year-old daughter was at home alone.
On July 17, 2002, current principal Liu Jindong dispatched Guo Xiangkun, the director of general services, to lead police to Ji Leming's home. They took her away and detained her in the detention center for one month. Her relatives were forced to pay 3,000 yuan before she was released.
34. [Dingxing County, Hebei Province] Ms. Xu Fengyi Arrested in Tianjin City
Ms. Xu Fengyi is a Falun Gong practitioner from Pinggang Village, Gaoli Township, Dingxing County. She became homeless in order to avoid being arrested at home. Before dawn on February 20, 2008, she was arrested in Tianjin City while making truth-clarifying materials. Now her whereabouts are unknown.
35. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Mr. Liu Xun Arrested
Mr. Liu Xun is a retired senior engineer who used to work at the Xinhua Pharmaceutical Factory. On February 22, 2008, he was followed and taken away by plainclothes police when he clarified the truth at a market. Now he is detained and being persecuted in the Zibo City 610 Office.
36. [Beijing City] Attorney Qi Wei and His Wife Arrested
Mr. Qi Wei graduated from the Department of Law, Nankai Univerity in Tianjin City. He is a lawyer in a law office in Beijing. At 8:00 p.m. on February 22, 2008, Mr. Qi and his wife were arrested by police from Chaoyang District, Beijing City. Before dawn on February 23, 2008, his wife was released upon the request of her family. Mr. Qi Wei was sent to Chaoyang District Detention Center.
In addition, Beijing Falun Gong practitioners Mr. Yang Hui and Mr. Bai Shaohua were arrested by Beijing police when they were driving to Huairou District.

37. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Falun Gong Practitioner Ms. Wang Yuqing Was Transferred to the Haizhu District Detention Center in Guangzhou City on February 23, 2008
38. [Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province] Jiangbei District Court Plans to Bring Ms. Qin Lianyu to Trial
On August 30, 2007, Jingbei District police of Ningbo City arrested Ms. Qin Lianyu. Her sister, Ms. Qin Hehua, was arrested at home and her daughter, Ms. Hong Jijing, was arrested at work. On the same day, many Falun Gong practitioners from other districts in Ningbo City were taken away.
Ms. Qin Hehua is over 60 years old. She was detained in a detention center for about 30 days. Her health deteriorated badly in detention. Now Hong Jijing and Qin Hehua have gone home after paying bail after a year's waiting. Qin Lianyu has been detained in the Ningbo City Detention Center for almost 6 months. Jiangbei District Court plans to bring her to trial.

39. [Liaocheng City, Shandong Province] Ms. Shen Lianghua Harassed
At midnight on February 23, 2008, village officials led the police from the Sang'a Town Police Station in Guan County, Liaocheng City, to knock on the door of Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Shen Lianghua's home. When she did not open the door, they just climbed over the wall, entered the yard and ransacked Ms. Shen's home.

40. [Guangxi Province] Mr. Guan Haibin Illegally Sentenced to Eight Years of Imprisonment
In late 2007, Mr. Guan Haibin was secretly sentenced to eight years of imprisonment by the Yuzhou District Court. He is now detained in the Yuzhou District No. 2 Detention Center.

At 10 o'clock on the evening of February 21, 2008, Falun Gong practitioners Mr. Deng Jian'gang and Mr. Jiang Xiantao from Pengshan County were taken away from their homes by police, and their homes were searched.
43. [Shuozhou City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Cai Yuehua Arrested
On February 20, 2008, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Cai Yuehua from Huairen County, Shuozhou City, was reported to police when she distributed truth-clarifying materials. Liu Xing, Niu Fei and other policemen from the Huairen National Security Team arrested her. Ms. Cai is now detained in Huairen County Detention Center.
44. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Yude Persecuted in Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province
Changchun Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Wang Yude is 58 years old. On around February 19, 2008, she was arrested at her home in Guangzhou City. Her husband, who is not a practitioner, was also taken away and released the next day. The police found stamps which were used to stamp truth-clarifying words on paper currency and some truth-clarifying materials at her home. Currently, Ms. Wang Yude is detained in Shanwei Detention Center in Guangzhou City.
45. [Zhoukou City, Henan Province] 66-Year-Old Practitioner Mr. Li Fanggui from Xiyangzhuang Village Was Sentenced to Five Years of Imprisonment on February 23, 2008
46. [Chongqing City] Ms. Zhang Jun Severely Persecuted
In early February 2008, Ms. Zhang Jun from Jiangbei District, Chongqing City was arrested and sent to the Sabao Women's Forced Labor Camp in Chongqing City. She is suffering severe persecution.
