1. [Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province] Six Falun Gong Practitioners Arrested
Police broke into Mr. Guo Jianhua privately owned Fire Protection Device Company the afternoon of February 25, 2008. They arrested Ms. Liu Jizhi's daughter Ms. Wei Meiling, Mr. Guo Jianhua, his wife, and their five-year-old daughter; and Ms. Guo Jianmei and her husband. The five-year-old girl has been released, but the rest are presently being held at the Qinghe County Detention Center.
2. [Pingdu City, Shandong Province] Police Ransack Practitioners' Homes
Police from Pingdu City and personnel from the Zhugou Town Party Committee went door to door and ransacked practitioners' homes on March 1, 2008. Personnel from the Yunshan Town Party Committee and police from Pingdu City had ransacked practitioners' homes in January 2008.

Seven officers from the Yuntang Police Station in Xiangtan City broke into Mr. Zhu Guangquan's home at noon on February 29, 2008. They ransacked the place and confiscated some Dafa books, a printer, a copier and 2,900 yuan. They arrested Mr. Zhu. His paralyzed wife was left at home alone to fend for herself.

5. [Beijing] Ms. Xu Xiufen Arrested
Ms. Xu Xiufen from Liang Township in the Fangshan District, Beijing was arrested on February 27, 2008 for distributing truth clarification materials. Where she is being detained is unknown.
6. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Wang Chunrong Facing Illegal Trial
Mr. Wang Chunrong works in the Xincheng Accountant Agency in Dalian City. He was transferred from Masanjia Forced Labor Camp to Dalian. His case has been submitted to the Xigang District Procuratorate, and Mr. Wang faces an illegal trial.

7. [Xingcheng City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yin Sulian Arrested
Seven officers from the Huashan Town Police Station in Xingcheng City broke into Ms. Yin Sulian's home in Xiachangmao Village, Huashan Town at 10:00 a.m. on February 25, 2008. Ms. Yin is presently being held at the city's Shoushan Detention Center. Many villagers watched the arrest and condemned the police's brutality. Police then gave in and did not arrest Ms. Yin's husband, who has left home to avoid arrest.

8. [Suizhong County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Wang Yuanju Arrested
Approximately 100 police and firemen from Huludao City, Xingcheng City, and Suizhong County surrounded Mr. Wang Yuanju's home in the Luyuan Community at 7:00 a.m. on February 25, 2008. It took police about five hours before they could arrest Mr. Wang from the fifth floor of a building.
9. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] The Persecution of Mr. Lu Mingjin
Shenjiatun Police Station chief Li Yanshuo often harassed Mr. Lu Mingjin. Police ransacked Mr. Lu's home and confiscated some Dafa books, an MP3 player, and some other items in July 2007. They attempted to arrest him several times, so Mr. Lu no longer lived at home.
Police arrested Mr. Lu the morning of September 13, 2007, when he worked at a construction site in the No.1 Middle School in Zhangjiakou City. He is still being held in the Shisanli Detention Center.
10. [Xingtai City, Hebei Province] Mr. Wang Luwei Arrested
Several policemen broke into Mr. Wang Luwei's home and ransacked the place the afternoon of February 27, 2008. They arrested Mr. Wang and confiscated a computer, a printer, and some Dafa books. He has not been released.
11. [Fujin City, Heilongjiang Province] Supplemental Information Regarding the Arrest of Ms. Liu Guizhen
Ms. Liu Guizhen went to the office of Fujin City Police Department Deputy Chief Yu Xinglu to explain the facts about Falun Gong on February 26, 2008. She asked the police to return her computer, a cell phone, a printer, a satellite dish, and other items that were confiscated in 2007. Yu Xinglu recorded his conversation with Ms. Liu and then put her directly into a local detention center. Yu then waited outside of Ms. Liu's home and forcibly got the home key from Ms. Liu's son. Yu Xinglu stole a laptop computer, a hard disc, an MP4 player, and several Dafa books.
Ms. Liu had previously been arrested on September 17, 2007. Her husband, Mr. Han Lifeng, still lives elsewhere to avoid arrest. Ms. Liu returned home at the end of 2007 but was arrested again. Her middle-school child has to stay with his grandmother.

12. [Tongjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Two Practitioners Held in the City's Detention Center
Lu Shuangzi, a villager from Jiangshi Village in Heilongjiang Province, reported Mr. Liu Yanchang and a woman practitioner to police at the end of 2007. Police then arrested them and put them into the Tongjiang City Detention Center.

15. [Hebei Province] The Persecution of Practitioners in Pinggu County
Domestic Security Division chief Zhang Daming led several policemen and broke into 50-year-old Ms. Yang Peihua and 40-year-old Mr. Ma Haichun's homes in Zhushui Village, Jinhaihu Town on January 23, 2008. They arrested the two practitioners and ransacked the places.

Personnel from the Domestic Security Division arrested Mr. Yang Zhijie and confiscated a computer and a printer on February 28, 2008.
17. [Muleng City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhang Youmei's Three-Member Family Arrested
Personnel from the Beijie Police Station in Muleng Town arrested Ms. Zhang Youmei's son on February 25, 2008, but he was released the same day.
Officers from the Beijie Police Station and from the city's Domestic Security Division broke into Ms. Zhang's home and arrested her and her son on February 26, 2008. They ransacked the place and confiscated some items. They then went to Ms. Zhang's hometown and arrested her husband, Mr. Dong Xuekun. Several days later, the authorities arrested her daughter, but she has been released. Ms. Zhang, her husband, and her son are presently being held in the city's detention center.

19. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Qi Fengming and His Son Qi Fei Arrested
Mr. Qi Fengming lives at No.3 Street in Harbin City. He distributed Falun Gong truth clarification materials near his home on February 4, 2008, but was reported to police. Personnel from the Haxi Police Station arrested him and his son Mr. Qi Fei, and ransacked his home. They are presently being held at the Nangang Detention Center.
20. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Wei Held at the Liuchangshan Brainwashing Center
Ms. Zhang Wei, 55 years old, is a retired employee from the Jinan City Steel Company Group. Personnel from the company's Baoshan Police Station arrested her on October 3, 2007, when she distributed truth clarification materials. She has been held at the Liuchangshan Brainwashing Center in Jinan City for four months now. Ms. Zhang had been sentenced to forced labor for three years and arrested several times.

22. [Yushu City, Jilin Province] Four Practitioners Being Held in a Detention Center
Five practitioners were arrested on February 29, 2008. Mr. Zhu Zhanshan, Ms. Zhang Yulian, Ms. Wu Fenghua, and Bai are being held at the Yushu City Detention Center. Mr. Li Donghe had 1,000 yuan extorted from him and was then released.
23. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Two Practitioners Arrested
Personnel from Luancheng County "110" Police and from the Chengguan Police Station arrested two practitioners the afternoon of February 23, 2008.

24. [Tianjin] Mr. Zhou Zuoxin Arrested
Sixty-year-old Mr. Zhou Zuoxin and 30-year-old Ms. Wei Xinying from Chengguan Town, the Wuqing District, Tianjin City were arrested the night of February 29, 2008. The arrest happened when they were posting Falun Gong materials. Personnel from the town's police station, including Liu Qiang, ransacked their homes and confiscated several Dafa books.
25. [Hegang City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Liu Xiyun Arrested
Mr. Liu Xiyun from the Xing'an District, Hegang City was reported and then arrested on February 27, 2008. Police confiscated some Falun Dafa truth clarification materials.
26. [Qian'an County, Jilin Province] Ms. Liang Jinying Arrested from Her Home
Personnel from the Qian'an County National Security Division and from the Mingfeng Police Station broke into Ms. Liang Jinying's home at 11:00 p.m. on February 27, 2008. They confiscated a Falun Gong lecture tape and put Ms. Liang in the county detention center.
27. [Suizhong County, Liaoning Province] Police Monitor Ms. Zhang Chongyue's Home
Personnel from the Suizhong County Police Department arrested Ms. Zhang Chongyue and put her in the Huludao City Detention Center the morning of February 29, 2008. They ransacked her home and then stayed there to entrap other practitioners.
28. [Shanghai] Ms. Chen Xiangjun Held at the Hongkou District Detention Center
Ms. Chen Xiangjun from the Hongkou District, Shanghai was arrested and her home was ransacked on February 26, 2008. She is presently being held at the district's detention center.

30. [Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Guo Enying Put in the City's Detention Center the Afternoon of March 1, 2008
31. [Zunyi City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Pan Lingyun Arrested
Ms. Pan Lingyun was arrested on February 21, 2008, when she was explaining the facts about Falun Gong in Ningbo Street, Zunyi City. She is presently being held in the city's No.2 Detention Center.
32. [Tianjin] Three Practitioners Arrested
Several policemen from the Tanggu District broke into Ms. Xu Guomin's home and ransacked the place the afternoon of February 28, 2008. They confiscated a computer, a printer, and some other items. Mr. Xu Guoqiang, Ms. Xu's brother, and Ms. Song Hongcui were arrested that same day. Several other practitioners in the district were also arrested.
33. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Tan Weichang Facing Illegal Trial
Mr. Tan Weichang was arrested and his home was ransacked on September 23, 2007. He has been held at the Yuexiu District No.2 Detention Center since September 24, 2007. Yuexiu District Court agents planned to sentence him on March 4, 2008.
34. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Mr. Xi Manxing Persecuted - Belated News
Mr. Xi Manxing from Zhangbei County, Zhangjiakou City, was arrested and held in the Miyun County Police Station for eight days because he appealed for Falun Gong in October 1999.
Mr. Xi did not tell police his name and was then taken to a detention center in Tianjin. He was held there for three days. Later on, Danjinghe Township Police Station Chief Zhang Chengying and township Party Committee Chief Wen fetched him back. Mr. Xi had 2,500 yuan extorted from him and was then released. Policeman Sun Xuefeng from the township's police station often harassed him at his home.
