Australian opera singer: classical performances and deeply inspiring lyrics
Australian opera singer and Griffith University Elder-in-Residence Aunty Delmae Barton attended the performance, and expressed much praise for the costumes, backdrop, and singing in the show,"I liked the whole show and the costumes were just excellent. The backdrops were incredible, particularly in the "Power of Awareness" where the rows of people came up. I also liked how they varied a great deal, that was really good because it brought you into the whole thing. It was definitely a credit to the show. The singing was also great, I loved the lyrics and meaning behind them."

Professor Boni Robertson, also of Griffith University said, "It was magnificent! I loved the drums! The little girl in the "Power in Awareness" was wonderful. I also liked the Manchurian Ladies walking in those splendid shoes, I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see it with my own eyes. The two presenters were fantastic. It was beautiful, just lovely."
Teacher from the Royal School of Ballet felt the show was very successful
A dance teacher at the Royal School of Ballet Theresa felt the Divine Performing Arts show was a first class performance. "This is a wonderful show, very high class, and suits the large stage very well. I am a professional dance teacher, I have been teaching classical ballet for 46 years. I felt the lead dancers were very skillful, it was such a beautiful show," she said.
Chinese lecturer at Bond University of the Gold Coast, felt proud of the Chinese Spectacular
A lecturer in Chinese from Bond University in the Gold Coast, Ms. Rose Chi, attended last year's show and was deeply touched, so this year she invited friends to come with her. Rose said, "I feel it's just incredible, especially to be able to see such wonderful performances, it is really incredible. I think Westerners can feel the beauty of China's 5000 years' culture, through our traditional dances and costumes, and be able to see such fantastic songs and dances, as a Chinese person, I feel really proud [of the show]."

Isabelle said, "I liked the Manchurian Ladies, walking in their shoes, it's very very difficult but not one of them was out of step, it was absolutely beautiful. I particularly liked the "Lady of the Moon" scene. I loved your fan dancers, they were very elegant. I've seen them in China before but the same dance in China brought into a different country requires overcoming a huge cultural gap. It's very impressive how the performance illustrated such true traditional culture but it was from America. You've done very well."
Dance enthusiasts say the performance was outstanding
Mr Ken and Mrs Laurel Sims from Kingscliff have a great love for dance. They said that they had never seen such a beautiful performance, "We've been dancing ballroom for over 55 years now. The Chinese traditional dance presented tonight is very different from any dance we've experienced before. It's beautiful, very dainty, elegant and the costumes are striking and absolutely outstanding! Definitely enjoyable."
