(Clearwisdom.net) The Divine Performing Arts (DPA) second stop in Australia was in Sydney. On April 3, 2008, The Hon. Marie Ficarra, New South Wales Member of Parliament, and her husband saw the show in the Sydney Entertainment Center.
Ms. Ficarra said, "I have many friends with Chinese backgrounds. I have seen many performances based on Chinese culture, but none were as magnificent as today's show."
"The show combines with creativity and beauty. The background projection, dances and songs let everyone in the audience have a good time. The show is professional. The choreography of the dances, the artists' graceful movements and their costumes impressed me the most. Their facial expression changed as they moved differently. The pure beauty of their movements reflects on their faces."
The Show Truly Reflects Thousands of Years of Ancient Culture
"I am overwhelmed by the genius, creativity and the message this show conveys. The show truly reflects and brings back thousands of years of ancient Chinese culture. It helps people to find the roots of their culture, especially young Chinese generations. The show can help them become better people through cultivation, music, and dances."
"Beliefs established thousands of years ago in traditional Chinese culture have been lost in modern society. The current society worships money, economic development, and power. We lost our most fundamental ideology--to encourage people to live better lives. The DPA brings back the core values of traditional Chinese culture, especially for young Chinese generations and the general Australian public."
True Core Values of Life
"I have strong spiritual beliefs but tonight I saw true core values of life from the songs and dances presented in the show. It is indeed a beautiful evening and I am so carried away. 'Truth, Compassion, and Tolerance' are the true meaning of life. The unusual experience I had tonight made me rethink my values and how I should treat others."
Ms. Ficarra used to work in Hurstville and Kogarah, where a lot of Chinese live. She was glad to see many Chinese and Australians coming to the show, "This is because they have a good understanding of Falun Gong and it's why they stand up and persistently spread their belief. They spread their culture to the world and hold on to the truth even under the Chinese communist regime's suppression. They suffer but the truth must come out eventually."
