(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioner, Ms. Zhao Yingjie, of Jilin City, Jilin Province has been brutally tortured ever since police took her into custody on February 12, 2007. Below is the latest information regarding the persecution she has suffered.

When Ms. Zhao was being held in the Jilin Detention Center, she once commented on the death of a Falun Gong practitioner. She said, "You guys must have tortured Wang Limin to death." As soon as she uttered these words, a guard violently struck Ms. Zhao's face, knocking her down and smashing her eyeglasses to pieces. Several guards then dragged her out of her cell. Ms. Zhao held on to an iron door and cried out, "Don't persecute me anymore!"

However, the guards totally ignored her plea. They dragged her out of her cell, ganged up on her, and brutally beat her. They then put a "whole body shackle" (shackling of hands and feet together, leaving no space between them, See Photo 11 on http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2004/11/27/54989.html) on her. Ms. Zhao was tortured so severely that one could barely stand to see her in that condition. After a long while, a guard dragged Ms. Zhao to her prison cell, and threw her on the bed, while she was still shackled.

Ms. Zhao held a hunger strike to protest against the persecution. Three days later, still shackled, Ms. Zhao was savagely forced fed through a feeding tube, which spilled all over her face and body. Every time she was forced fed, she was tortured to the point of nearly dead. The last forced feeding almost killed her. Those who participated in the inhuman forced feeding were; the director, Sun Aiying (female), another guard Bian, and several other guards. At the time she screamed in horror. Her two hands suddenly slipped out from the whole body shackle, with the skins on the back of her hands all peeled and scratched. She immediately passed out. Falun Gong practitioners and guards who were present at the scene called her name. It was not until twenty minutes later that she was able to take a breath, and gradually regain consciousness.

Ms. Zhao was brutally tortured to the point of disability while she was in the detention center. Still, she received an illegal sentence on July 10, 2007, and was sent to the Heizuizi Prison in Changchun City. The prison refused to take her in. She was later sent to the Jilin Province Prison Administration Bureau Hospital. Afterwards, when her family members demanded to see her, they were told that she was in the prison when they went to the hospital, and that she was in the hospital when they went to the prison, and then they were told that she was sent back to the Jilin City Detention Center. Ms. Zhao Yingjie's family members could not find her whereabout after making several trips back and forth for several months. It was not until March of 2008 that they were confirmed that Ms. Zhao was detained in the Heizuizi Female Prison.

On March 25, Ms. Zhao's family members went to the Heizuizi Prison to see her. The guards said that her tuberculosis was active at the time, and that she was not allowed any visitors because she was in the isolation ward.

On April 1, Ms. Zhao's family members again went to the Heizuizi Prison to see her. A policewoman told them they could not see Ms. Zhao because Ms. Zhao's guard was not in. Her family members begged and begged to see her. The policewoman said that she would let Ms. Zhao call her family the following day, and that they had to wait until they were told to see Ms. Zhao. The following morning, Ms. Zhao called her family. She was so weak that she could barely talk. The family asked her anxiously about her health. She said that her diagnosis was an active case of tuberculosis, that she was going through an isolation period, and that she had fluid accumulation in her chest and abdomen. Realizing her critical condition, her family members were very worried.

Both of Ms. Zhao's parents are dead. She is in her early thirties. She is a kind and honest person. She has been inhumanly tortured by the CCP and its followers simply because she practices Falun Gong's "Truth-Compassion-Forbearance." She was subjected to many tortures, physical damages, character insults (the CCP workers poked her pelvic area with a stick). Now she is tortured to the point of near death. The CCP-run prison not only refused to release her, but also rejected her right to see visitors.

We sincerely call for all kindhearted people of the world to speak out for justice and join our effort to stop this persecution which was launched by Jiang Zemin and the CCP to suppress the good people who practice "Truth-Compassion-Forbearance,"
