Ms. Chen Jinfen Dies in Hebei Province
Ms. Chen Jinfen, 68, was a Falun Dafa practitioner living in Changli County (under the jurisdiction of Qinhuangdao City), Hebei Province. On February 4, 2008, she was taken into custody by the Heru Township Police Station. The police ransacked her home and detained her in Changli County Detention Center. On February 13, 2008, she felt pain in her leg and discomfort in her chest, and was very weak. Thus, she was released. However, the weakness and aches continued. She died on March 24, 2008.
Ms. Sun Huaifeng Dies in Yunnan Province
Ms. Sun Huaifeng, 56, was a Falun Dafa practitioner living on Dong Street in Jinbi Town, Dayao County in Chuxiong Prefecture, Yunnan Province. She was a teacher at the Town Central School, but retired early due to illness. On September 2, 2004, the police arrested her because she practiced Falun Gong and detained her in the Dayao County Detention Center. She was released on February 9, 2006 because she was dying. Her sickness worsened in 2007, and she died on February 26, 2008.
