(Clearwisdom.net) On April 25, 2008, Belgian Falun Gong practitioners organized activities in front of the Chinese Embassy to commemorate the "April 25" Appeal of 1999. Practitioners also protested against the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) arresting Falun Gong practitioners in China in the run-up to the Olympic Games.
At the Embassy, practitioners displayed photos, as well as banners that said, "Falun Dafa, Truthfulness, Benevolence, Forbearance," "Memorializing the peaceful petition by Falun Gong on April 25th ," "Protest against the persecution of Falun Gong by the CCP in the name of the Olympic Games," and, "Stop the persecution of Falun Gong." The banners were printed in Chinese, English, and French.
Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Yang said that in order to protest against the CCP's nine-year persecution of Falun Gong, and in order to allow the Belgian people to understand the facts of the persecution, they are staging peaceful protests in front of the Chinese Embassy.
Falun Gong representative Nicolas said that practitioners would carry on with the activities exposing the CCP's crimes until the end of the persecution.
