(Clearwisdom.net) The second show of the Chinese Spectacular by Divine Performing Arts (DPA) in Sydney attracted Australians from all circles to the Sydney Entertainment Centre on April 3, 2008. Among them were many Chinese. Besides the beauty of classic Chinese culture, many expressed that they were especially moved by witnessing the arts of their mother nation in another country.
A dancer from China praised the perfect unity of heaven and human presented by DPA after watching the show the second time. She said, "I love dancing. I appreciate the beauty of the perfect combination of background and dancers. I like national dance." She thought the Divine Performing Arts performers were remarkable. "Most of the dancers grew up in North America, not China, but they did such a great job [with Chinese style dance]. It wasn't easy to do," she noted.
Mr. Li Qing, originally from Beijing, said the perfection of the show couldn't be expressed in words. He said, "It was such a treat! You can only experience it by coming to watch the show in person. The drum dance of the Tang Dynasty was so exciting! All the programs show the Chinese culture of five thousand years. I am so happy to watch it!"
Mr. Li Qing (left) said that the show was a wonderful treat, and that it could only be truly experienced by seeing it in person.
Mr. Li said that people need a society of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. "The DPA show was very exciting and impressive. The artists looked very kind. Their movements were beautiful! I think if everyone watches the show, it will be very educational. If our society could be like the artists, it would be a beautiful society." He wished his family and friends in China could watch the show for enjoyment and education.
Ms. Zhang, a teacher from China, said she felt very proud to be Chinese after watching the show. "I was deeply moved by the three words, Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance! I am a Chinese. We should spread this spirit to the whole world. Though I am not able to [do so alone], I can explain the three words to my students in Australia."
