1. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Wang Guiqin Arrested on March 11, 2008
2. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Yuan Chengli Taken into Custody for the Second Time
At 9:00 a.m. on February 27, 2008, Harbin practitioner Mr. Yuan Chengli was taken into custody when he was at his mother's home in Daoli District by police of Baojian Road Police Station in Nangang District and Gongnong Police Station. Then, about seven officers broke in to raid Mr. Yuan's home. They took truth clarification materials, Dafa books, an MP4 player, two cell phones, and all home address books.

3. [Changtu County, Liaoning Province] Officers from Daxing Village Police Station Harassing Practitioners
On the afternoon of March 7, 2008, director Zhao Yonggang and assistant director Tong Guojun of the Daxing Village Police Station, Changtu County, broke into Bianjia Village practitioners' homes and harassed them. They asked Mr. Sun Guoxue whether he intended to go Beijing during the Olympic games. Mr. Sun only replied that he was "not sure." The police officers arrested Mr. Sun Guoxue and Ms. Yang Xinping from their home, ransacked the place, and used torture to try to get a "confession." At present, Mr. Sun and Ms. Yang are still in custody and being brutally treated in Changtu County Detention Center.
After 8:00 p.m. police went to two other practitioners' homes to conduct illegal searches. They detained two female practitioners that were released the next day.
After 3:00 p.m. on March 9, 2008, Daxing Police Station Chief Zhao Yonggang and two other officers went to Ms. Zhang Guiqin's home in Chenjia Village and ordered her not to distribute truth clarification materials.

4. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Update on the Arrests of Mr. Wang Jianquan and Others
On February 25, 2008, approximately 25 police officers of Panjin City National Security Brigade, Panshan County Police Station, and Yangquanzi Town Police Station besieged Mr. Wang Jianquan's home at Beijing Village, Yangquanzi Town. They climbed over the fence, ransacked his home, arrested Mr. Wang; his wife, Ms. Wang Chunling; and his son, Wang Biao (not a practitioner), and stole his cell phone. Later, police officers ransacked the homes of Mr. Wang Jianqi, Ms. Ma Fuyue, Ms. Zhang Yuquan, Ms. Wei Subin, Ms. Zhang, and Ms. Zhang Yufeng. Liang Yufen's TV, VCD, and radio were confiscated by the police.
Wang Jianquan and his family were detained at Panshan County lockup. Wang Biao, Wang Jianquan's son, was released on the sixth day after his family had spent 7,000 yuan. Wang Chunling was released after 10 days.
5. [Dalian, Liaoning Province] Nanguanling Prison Detaining More Than Forty Falun Gong Practitioners. Family Members Are Not Allowed to Visit
6. [Yushu City, Jilin Province] Ms. Ma Shufen Taken into Custody
Ms. Ma Shufen, who lives in Wukeshu Town, Yushu City, was taken into custody at her home by Wukeshu Town Police Station on March 14, 2008. She was then taken to Yushu jail.
7. [Liaoning Province] A Visiting Female Practitioner Arrested in Dalian
Around 7:30 p.m. on March 11, 2008, a visiting practitioner over 40 years of age was "illegally arrested" by police while she was distributing truth clarification materials in a residential area near Xinghua Street Police Station, Shandong Road, Dalian. Her whereabouts is unknown.
8. [Beijing] Ms. Zhang Zhongying Is Besieged In Her Home by Police
On the evening of March 10, 2008, Ms. Zhang Zhongying, who lives on Guanganmenwai South Street in the Xuanwu District, was besieged in her home by 10 police officers. She refused to open her door to the police.

9. [Tianjin] Ms. Tian Yuqin Arrested by Police
In mid-April 2005, Ms. Tian Yuqin of Jinnan District, Tianjin, was picked up by police officers and sentenced to three years of forced labor because she was distributing truth clarification materials. She is imprisoned in Banqiao Women's Forced Labor Camp, Tianjing. Because Ms. Tian would not abandon her belief in Dafa, she is under strict control by of the guards at the camp. She has not been allowed to have contact with anyone; not even her family is allowed to visit her.

10. [Jining City, Shandong Province] Ms. Peng Xiuyun Taken into Custody
In mid-March 2008, Ms. Peng Xiuyun of Jining City Central District was taken into custody at her home. She is now illegally detained in Jining City jail.
Recently, the Jining Municipal Party Committee planned to persecute Falun Gong practitioners in the name of security before the start of the Olympic Games. Eight so-called important practitioners have been blacklisted.

11. [Gaomi City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Yueqin Taken into Custody
Ms. Li Yueqin of Sanguanmiao Village, Kangzhuang Town, over 50, is a peasant. She was reported to the police for clarifying the truth on March 7, 2008. On the evening of the same day, her home was ransacked by officers from the Criminal Police Brigade, Gaomi Police Station. The police confiscated Dafa books and other personal items. She is currently detained in Gaomi City Detention Center.

12. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Several Practitioners Arrested around March 10, 2008
13. [Xinji City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Hengzhen Taken into Custody
On March 14, 2008, Ms. Zhang Hengzhen from Dashizhuang Village, Hemujing Town, Xinji City, was picked up by Xing Baojun, director of Dashizhuang Village Security, and police officers from the Hemujing Town Police Station. The police confiscated Falun Dafa articles, Dafa books, and other personal belongings. Ms. Zhang is detained at the Xinji City Detention Center.
14. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Feng Chunying and Ms. Wang Ruiying Sentenced to Forced Labor
On the afternoon of February 23, 2008, Ms. Feng Chunying and Ms. Wang Ruiying of Luancheng County were arrested while they were clarifying the truth. They were sentenced to one year of forced labor and are incarcerated at the Hebei Women's Forced Labor Camp.

15. [Chengdu, Sichuan Province] Ms. Pan Jurong and Ms. Zhao Picked up
On the morning of March 10, 2008, Ms. Pan Jurong and Ms. Zhao of Chengdu 106 Mailstop were clarifying the truth in front of the Guangming Hotel on Second Ring Road. They were reported and later picked up by officers from the Shengdeng Police Station. They are now in the Pi County Chengdu Detention Center.
16. [Chengdu, Sichuan Province] Ms. Tang Yunxia's Child Harassed by Police
On March 5, 2008, five officers of Chengdu National Security Brigade and Peng County National Security Brigade broke into Chengdu Ritual Professional School and threatened Ms. Tang Yunxia's son, Zhang Shuai. On March 6, the police returned and forced the child to put his fingerprint on a so-called "confession." The child was extremely frightened and now doesn't dare go to school.
Ms. Tang Yunxia has been picked up by the police six times, sent to forced labor camps twice, and detained for 1069 days. Because of this, her son, Zhang Shuai, has had no one to depend on for several years, and he has no permanent home. He doesn't even have enough money to pay for school tuition.
17. [Panzhihua, Sichuan Province] Ms. Wu Fenglan and Other Practitioners Taken into Custody
On March 6, 2008, Ms. Jiang Xianfeng, Ms. Wu Fenglan, Ms. Zhu Qinghua, and Ms. Liu Shufang were followed and then picked up by police officers while the four women were clarifying the truth at Bingcaogangzhu Lake and Garden. Their homes were ransacked. The police stole cash and bank deposits from the women's homes. The police tried to force the women to confess their "crimes." Ms. Jiang was released the same day; the rest were sent to a detention center.
18. [Guanghan, Shichuan Province] Ms. Chen Xianyu Taken into Custody
On the morning of March 14, 2008, Ms. Chen Xianyu was taken into custody by police from the Nanxing Town Police Station while she was clarifying the truth on Nanxingzhen Street, Guanghan.
19. [Guangzhou, Guangdong Province] News about Ms. Liu Yi
Ms. Liu Yi has been detained for 15 days. Although her term is up, the police have not released her. Her family is not allowed to visit.
Ms. Liu had been persecuted before and even had to get divorced in 2002 because of extensive harassment. Her daughter is still in school. Without her mother's support, the child will be unable to continue to attend school.
